I have been walking by this place for several weeks, as it is next to my gym (Crunch) and always peeked in. I have blonde eyebrows, which have become a tad bit unruly. No problem there, Nilo (she is there everyday, ask for her) took great care of me. I have tried eyebrow waxing and found it pretty painful, not to mention the red puffiness that sets in right after and lingers for a few hours. So I quit waxing them and pretty much let them grow wild for the last six months. I popped into Brow Bliss on a Thursday afternoon and they took the time to ask me if I was new to threading and explained what would happen. I'm not going to lie, it was a tad bit uncomfortable at first but nothing comparable to waxing pain. My eye did start to water a bit, but that was the worst that happened. We were done very quickly and she mentioned eyebrow tinting, I was curious so I gave it a shot. It was a very natural tint which she told me lasts about a month. The ladies were very friendly and we chatted while she threaded, which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend threading and Brow Bliss, they take care of the experienced as well as the unexperienced. *No need to make an appointment, they are quick and walk-ins are encouraged. I have been here a few times and always had great results. Today though, wow. The young woman working on someone was on her phone the whole time talking to a friend while three people waited their turns. While I wish her the best with her upcoming "boob job", I really didn't need to hear about what size she's choosing or the reasons behind it. It was some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. First time here, decided to come based on reviews from yelp. Was pleasantly surprised, no long lines or waits. Clean place, simple chairs to lay in while she works. I had Azi, and she was SO sweet and lovely. Here, instead of waxing, they thread your brows, meaning they used some sort of nylon-type thread and twist the brows out. I went here because the reviews and it was on the top list of Yelp. They offered half off for new customers, so I thought I'd give them a try. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, and a younger girl did my brows. It was really quick and she tried to sell me a membership, which I declined. When I got to my car and looked in the mirror. I noticed some hairs that were still there, so I had to pluck them myself. She also didn't trim my eyebrows evenly. I think it's safe to say "been there, done that". I'm not coming back, especially for $18. It's not worth it. read more

I live in The Dalles and I make a special trip to Beaverton every 2 weeks to have my eyebrows and other unwanted facial hair shaped/removed. Threading is better for your skin than waxing and threading also gives more control of the shape of your eyebrows. Since I can no longer wax my eyebrows due to the medicine I'm on I had to try somewhere new after 7 years and I was extremely nervous! But I'm so happy I did she did a good job. They used to have amazing people who actually knew what they were doing but all the good ones are gone now. I feel as if everyone there currently INCLUDING the owner, rushes in every Brow job they do. They made me feel like I wasn't their #1 priority when it was just me in the room. There was no line yet she STILL rushed and took less than 45 seconds to do my brows while the previous (actually) GOOD workers spent their time to make them look good. Look at how uneven my brows are now AND unclean they look. Look at how cut off the top of my left eyebrow looks. I swear the workers there are just too busy on their phones just like the lady who did mine today and I'm pretty sure she's the owner. I even told her it looks uneven and she made excuses telling me to shade them in??? She took me for an idiot when I KNOW they are uneven and looked bad. am so disappointed and I'm never coming back again and I don't think people should either. They saved my eyebrows! I came in after having my eyebrows plucked, waxed, and threaded by several different salons all over Los Angeles (my hometown). When I moved to Portland I needed a new eyebrow person that can fix the years and years of screw ups that have made my Brooke Shields eyebrows into chola lines. I told them what was up and they reassured me that they can fix them if I can be patient. One of the few threading places in Portland area. I have really sensitive skin, Brow bliss does a great job with my eyebrows. I have been here three times and have had a really good experience. There wasn't much of a wait time, the place is very clean and the staff is well trained. The owner of the place is very considerate as well.
