I visited Brow Art 23 for the first time a few weeks back and it was a very quick visit. I have been getting my brows threaded for over 15 years, so I know a good thread when I get one! The staff was very nice and again, very quick, but the trim at the end was basically just for show and none of the baby hairs above my eyebrows or in between the brows were covered. I didn't notice some of the missing pieces until I got home and it was pointed out to me, but for the money, I wasn't as thrilled as I have been at other places. I would also love if they had some sort of rewards program because that would definitely incentivize me to go back, but for now, I'll stick with my usual! Don't come here unless you want your eyebrows unsymmetrical, different shapes, different sizes. She didn't even do a good clean up around it this is OUTRAGEOUS. She made my eye eyebrows the ugliest (the older lady) I feel like I have no eyebrows. Either she did it on purpose or she's just awful. I am so upset. NEVER COME HERE. read more

After moving to the KC area from Lawrence a couple of years ago, I was hesitant to find a new brow location. I've always been super particular about my eyebrows, and it's hard to trust someone new with them! Several of the ladies have threaded my brows for me, and I've never had a bad experience. That being said, some ladies are better than others. Candice is by far the best! She's extremely quick and always leaves me with amazing brows! I seem to get the most compliments on my brows after coming to see Candice. The only downside to Brow Art 23 is the pricing. For brows and upper lip it's $25. I think that's a little much compared to other places I've been, but it's acceptable to me because I value nice brows. read more

I have been coming to this location ever since I was in middle school and when the business used to be a kiosk. I bought the brow define powder some years ago in the color taupe, and they do an excellent job of giving a natural but bold look to my brows. I go to Candice for my service usually, and she and I always talk about how her daughter loves the name Olivia (which is my name haha). Overall I love going to this place to get my eyebrows done because of how quick and attentive the workers are to their customers' care. FYI on your tenth visit, you get $10 off! read more

My first time here it was horrible. I've had this done in my home state several times so I'm no stranger. This place made my eyes water it hurt so bad come to find out why my skin was bleeding now I have a puffy bruise with thread marks! And she left stray hairs. I was expecting this place to be similar to the kiosk I used to frequent to get my brows threaded. I was sorely disappointed when I walked out to my car and noticed in my visor mirror that I had stray hairs everywhere on my eyebrow and upper lip. I also noticed that my eyebrows were not shaped correctly and I am a stickler for perfect eyebrows. I will not be returning to this business. I was disappointed that I wasn't treated like a special customer even though the wait wasn't very long. People that work in customer service places like these should know that they are supposed to treat you respectfully and give you a pampering experience. read more

I would definitely give them five stars if they had more than one person working at a time. The wait is ridiculously long.... The quality of their work is normally pretty good but you need to pick one person and stick with them!!! Some of the women that work here get easily offended when you tell them you want one specific person to do your brows... But oh well. Not everyone follows directions... I have been coming to Brow Art for a few years now, and have always gone to Minoo,and have had amazing eyebrows every time. The past couple of times I have seen other threaders at this location, and my eyebrows have been crooked both times. I have thick eyebrows and like to keep them thick, but a little cleaned up. I think the other women working do not know how to thread thick brows. The first time it happened one was just a little too arched, but this time my eyebrows came out as cousins instead of sisters. I went here to get a henna tattoo and was very disappointed. They don't offer a lot of designs, so, I asked if they could do one similar to a picture I found online. It wasn't too different than the ones they offered. The girl who did the tattoo didn't look comfortable with it, so I said that I could do one out of the book, but, her boss pressured her into doing the custom one. It turned out okay, a little lopsided and uneven but too intricate for anyone but me to notice. I've had a henna tattoo before and I loved my first. It lasted 2-3 weeks and looked like a real tattoo. This henna, however, lasted not even 2 days before it faded into a gross yellow color. I paid just as much for the one that lasted 2-3 weeks as I did for the one from this shop. Overall, it was a waste of my time and money. read more

No one even in the store! They moved to a new location in oak park mall which is a storefront (nice area). The doors were open and it was 10:30 am...myself and another customer waited 10 minutes and there was no one to attend to us. I even called them to see if anyone would pick up and the phone just rang and rang. Unbelievable you have a store that is open but no one working inside. I finally left as I wasn't going to waste any more time. Will look for a new place as this was not professional! read more

I had the worst experience ever!! I use to go to the kiosk by Macy's quite often to get my eyebrows done. They changed the location by American girl where you just walk in and they get you seated right away. The girl I got her name is Liz, she did a horrible job on my eye brows. I asked her just to clean them up because I already had my shape. She made them thinner!!! I'm so angry, I have a really special event tomorrow and I wanted to look stunning with natural look makeup. Now I have to fill them in with a pencil, which I've never done before. When I took a look in the mirror they were so thin! Never have I ever had my eyes this thin ever in my life and on top of that they're uneven. I spoke to the manager there and she said she didn't see nothing wrong with my eyebrows and that they looked the same after showing her before pictures of my eye brows. After all she said she couldn't give me a fucking discount (excuse my language) because she didn't see anything wrong with them. I told her clearly I wasn't happy with my eyebrows. I literally almost walkout without paying, but thats not me. I will never ever come back here. The manager is horrible and so is their employees. On top of that she didn't do a very good job at cleaning them either. I still have small little hairs. Oh she refused to get me back in chair to fix them. Don't come here you guys!
