Even with the soft music going on the walls are paper thin so you can hear the cars and when the next person came for their appointment I could hear them. My sister scheduled my appointment months in advance, she lives in TN. Cristi used to frequent this salon, back when she lived in IL. I live in WI and honestly just thought my sister would end up doing my hair. She made appointments for us and requested the best person, to do my hair, for my special day. I rarely do anything with my hair. I didn't even have a picture to show, or anything special to suggest. I just told Maddie do whatever you think will look good. I really wanted to utilize my long hair somehow and put up the sides. I brought special rhinestone barrettes that she placed in the back of my hair. The salon was so wonderful they gifted me the best keychain with a ring attached to it, it's beautiful and will hold my car keys. I also loved how the music playing in the background. It was all wedding songs while I was getting my hair done. It brought such a smile to my face and was so thoughtful. My first dance at my wedding was even played, At Last by Etta James. That was pure coincidence since they didn't know that. We also had fake eyelashes put on too and that was absolutely something I will do again. I accidentally double booked, missed an exit when driving to the facility, and ultimately arrived between the two appointment times .I was asked to wait due to their late policy, but I was still serviced. Facility: the facility is located in a shopping plaza area with ample private/free parking spaces. It is directly next door from MOD Pizza. Inside, the facility appeared neat and clean. The restroom was also cleaner than I expected. Service: I forgot to get the name of the cashier at the front, but she handled my double booking issue well. My waxer, Aubrey, was great at what she does. On this particular day I was serviced for a Brazilian wax. She greeted me, we engaged in small talk during my service, and she was very efficient in getting all the hair without causing more pain than necessary. I was so pleased with Aubrey's work that I grabbed her business card on the way out! Wait Time: Appears to be excellent for those that book an appointment and show up on time (which I did not do). Though I double booked and caused confusion, I was still able to be seen after waiting 40 mins, which I don't find too shabby, considering it was right before Memorial Day Weekend. I felt unlimited cleaning for a year, 11$ a month, was well worth it, so I became a member. Since then the price has gone up :/ :( This location has friendly threaders (is that their job description?) 2 girls in particular do an excellent job on my brows, they know exactly what my eyebrows need just by looking at them! Once 1 of the girls noticed my previous visit took too much off (how did she know!?) They are GOOD that's why. They don't strike up a conversation is why I don't know exactly the days my 2 favorite girls work. With my 1 year membership, I've had at least 2 painful experiences and needless to say, that girl is no longer employed there. *I have to add, you will need to hold your eyebrow skin with both hands during a session, so if you didn't shave or wear deodorant ... well I'm always concerned about that! *Also, they hold the string between their teeth -it's weird but that's the technique. No frills, especially compared to getting an eyebrow wax at Benefit, which is always my #1 go to. But for a quick fix during my lunch hour, this met my expectations.

Found this one on Yelp and decided to book an appointment. I was happy to see that COVID-19 precautions in place as I am a nurse that specializes in infection prevention and control. Screening was done prior to the appointment. Facemask and gloves used. The place was clean, sanitary, and organized. I was also reassured that blades were used strictly for one person and disposed thereafter. I have to apologize because I forgot her name but she did an amazing job with my thinning and dull eyebrows!! She truly listened to my concerns and addressed all of them. She's also the only one who noticed my uneven eyebrows and explained her plans to fix this concern. A numbing agent was used liberally so I did not feel a thing!! Even when it started to wear off; and believe me, I have low pain tolerance. As someone who is a perfectionist, I loved that she used a tool to ensure perfectly even brows.
