I spent $380 expecting quality service and professional results, but instead I walked out with damaged hair and a result I am completely unhappy with. Waited for 45 minutes until I was only to be told that there was a scheduling conflict and they just realized it right now. They offered to reschedule my appointment. I visited Legacy last week for the first time. I wanted color and a cut. Mainly to cover my Grey. The stylist brought up a picture of color on her phone and it looked cute. I feel like, in my very first visit I should have been consulted that the ending bill for cut and color would be $350. I was there for 3 1/2 hours, not because it took that long. I waited with my head in the bowl while another client was being cut. If I ever get a cut or color that I don't care for, it will grow out. I normally don't complain. But a $350 plus tip hair cut ($390) that I don't like, is a hard pill to swallow. I've never paid that much, or even close. The choppy uneven back to my hair, I can feel it on my neck that it's a mess without even looking at it There are several areas that have a ledge or line, from the cut or the color. Had I paid $120, I still wouldn't like what's on my head, but I would just live with it grows out. But because of the excessive unexpected cost, I have to complain. I have to figure out how to fix this uneven choppy cut. read more

i really wanted to like this place because it is very close by, but after two visits i won't be back. both previous visits were for a haircut. i have long hair that i'm growing out so i don't do anything fancy. i show a picture of mostly blunt one layer hair with one front face frame layer. the first visit i just wasn't thrilled with my haircut, she took a lot more off than i wanted, but maybe i didn't explain enough! the worst part though was how they push product while you are there and its an expensive haircut for what i go in to get (essentially a trim). most recently i made an appointment for the same thing/ with the same stylist because let's give it another go! i showed up on time and was told my appointment was actually at 4:30 not 4:15 and i was like oops i'm an idiot! so i sit to wait. but then i check my texts (attached and you can see i was checking at 4:14) and see the salon confirmed my appointment WAS at 4:15. however in the moment i can't bring this up to anyone, because the stylist is overbooked by about 3 different customers and is currently in the middle of doing someone's lightening service. what good will complaining get me she can't grow more arms?! so i just sit... when i finally get to the chair (at 4:40) i'm given a very rushed initial trim. she then asks her assistant (she had two with her that evening shadowing her) to wash my hair. again during that i am given a sales pitch on treatments and products...when it's done and i'm back in the chair I can feel with my hands that there is still slimy product in my hair at the back of my neck, and its a menthol type conditioner so its burning. when the stylist finally comes back from her other clients to pay attention to me, i tell her i don't think it was washed out properly. she feels it and says it is but that they can rewash...at this point i'm on track to be running late for an appointment after this and just want to go so i trust she knows what she is talking about! she does a bit more to my cut and asks how i want it styled, i said whatever is easiest. she then tells an assistant to blow dry my hair smooth. the girl who blowdried my hair caused a giant tangle/knot and just ripped it apart with her hands...i was shocked. then the stylist told her to curl my hair. this took awhile and i think is an additional charge. i should have spoken up and said no thanks so that's my bad. at the end i had a subpar trim for over $60 and a not so relaxing experience + my hair felt weighed down with product already. i was going to return for a hair color service but decided against it because i don't want to drop $200+ for another meh experience. read more

Soo I decided to check this spot out after passing it a few times so I booked my appointment with the manager Armareli (because I thought she had the most experience) I spoke with her for a good 5 minutes explaining and showing her photos of what I wanted and asking if she knew how to cut curly hair she assured me she did. unfortunately I was disappointed from the beginning I felt like she kept trying to upsell me products and services and when I declined her offers another individual came over to try and upsell me and schedule me I felt like I was at a timeshare demonstration it was uncomfortable but I thought let's see how the cut and style go and after I explained what I wanted it literally looked like she cut nothing then the style (blowout) was not even close to what it was suppose to be I know because I've done it several times with other stylist at other salons and I know you're probably thinking why not have gone to those salons well in short they are tooooo far. anyway, it was frizzy and puffy when I mentioned it to her the "helper assistant " proceeded to say my hair was frizzy because I didn't choose the "special" wash however she had already put in a few products that supposedly where to avoid frizz so nice try then I told her again this is not how a blowout is suppose to look I didn't like it and her response was well let me flat iron it which defeats the purpose because I wanted a blowout which is completely different then flat ironing it . now it was exactly that flat no volume and when I told her I was not pleased she smiled and said okay smh I was so upset that I just left because I had to be somewhere and I also didn't want to go off. I then called back to have my cut redone but I told them I was going out of state so I had to do it when I came back which I did. I asked for another stylist because why would I have the same person that screwed it up do it again right. Well the second person Lexi was worse I told her my bangs were uneven and that I wear them swooped so they needed to be a tad bit shorter I showed her a photo of how I wear them and well she not only chopped my bangs way tooo short they still Were not even in short my entire experience was horrible I will NEVER go to them again. Went for a hair cut last week. I have to say that I am not happy with it. I asked for it to be cut short and thinned out as I have very thick hair. She thinned it out first before cutting and after she was done with hair cut she never thinned out the ends. The haircut is very uneven and choppy. I have tried straightening and curling nothing helps. It looks like a Dutch boy haircut and i have to wear stubby ponytail until I have time to get it thinned out again. read more

The Salon is beautifully decorated & reception always so gracious, polite, and knowledgeable. However, the key to me for returning, referring and enjoying my experiences here is Mikayla Fuemmeler. She's an artist. She has a natural gift. She learns who her guests are and determines the direction they want to take and a few little of artistic input that she might have. I'm always 100% happy; to the point that I just ask her what direction we're taking next; where we left off & what's going on in my mood. You see a light go on in her head. Everyone her guests / clients refer her and then they refer her and I'm only worried that she'll book out for months; but, for her work (and I say this about almost NO ONE in any capacity), I'd wait...... As a person & the time spent chatting with her or shutting down and doing my work...she's an angel. I do really love the salon; and it speaks really well to provide a business that appreciates the importance of the talented staff they hire and creating an environment of team work & individuality. So I went in for the first time to the salon last Friday for a full leg wax that I had booked my name is Gerda A. by the way . Let's start that I am an esthetician in training myself - graduating in few weeks so I know about sanitations , protocols, and ins and outs of the industry etc. So let's just start with that there wasnt a consent/history form that I needed to sign.and there were no questions asked either by the employee prior to my service about my health, medications all that good stuff that could've been a contraindication for waxing service. So the cosmetologist name Lexi was the girl who was scheduled to do my waxing. She had her hair all hanging on her face almost as if at any moment it was going to get stuck in the wax. Her wax cart was behind my head as she was doing my legs and I felt like at any moment that wax was going to drip on my head as she's reaching for it back and forth it. I advised that maybe she should put the cart by my legs and have better access but she didn't . So then I noticed she was DOUBLE DIPPING her waxing sticks after she was waxing my legs. That IS A NO NO FOR ANYONE THATS IN THIS FIELD AND KNOWS ABOUT SANITATION. It's like me going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and they use the same tools for every client. I mean who knows what germs & skin infections were already in that wax and she was applying on me.. I had hoped I was just seeing it wrong . I also want to mention that she wasn't experienced in waxing because she wasn't speed waxing my legs as you should as that would save me and her time . It took her almost an hour to do my front legs and I had a lot of spots and payches still through out my legs. Mind you a lot of drops of wax still on my legs as she had asked me to turn over already l . I started showing her all the hair that was still there that she missed??? And she asked me what I wanted her to do ? Use honey wax again or hard wax? Or plug it ???? I said if you plug these hairs I will be here all night and you don't wax twice with honey wax. So by that point I was fed up and asked her if she was also double dipping her sticks ???!!! She was taken by suprise and said "I'm only double dipping with the same client" I said what?! You don't double dip your putting my germs back in the wax and then spreading it through clients and Vice versa. She said she didn't really learn waxing in school and was only following what her associates do ... I said that is #1 you learn in all school is never to double dip. So now either she really was clueless or was following what the salon does? I then said she shouldn't have been scheduled to do my waxing if she didn't know how to wax, she didn't hold my skin taught , she was pulling patch by patch instead of using the full strip and that is why I still had hair all over because it just wasn't being properly applied and taken off. And then even few times she got the wax paper stuck with wax on my skin and freaked out.. I asked for a manager which there wasn't one on staff nor owner . And no one else who could finish my waxing . I told her to clean the wax off and I requested to be refunded for my deposit . So long story short please make sure when you get waxed you know who your going to and make sure they follow proper sanitation. I am still waiting to hear back from manager/owner . read more

Enter at your own risk! I had been with the stylist Paige since she had been on the floor. She comes off incredibly caring, fun and knowledgeable. I referred many people to Legacy. I had to explain years ago that I could not afford $300+ every 4-6weeks. Still pressured nonstop to by products. Over and over saying that I needed additional treatments. I believed in her so much that I would follow what she would say against everyone telling me otherwise. She has been over booking herself for so long it doesn't feel like you have an appointment with her but more so with the students she trains. The last time was the final straw for me. I was not only left in the hair bowl for 45 mins with toner which fried my hair completely. I asked for extensions which I've had so many times. Well this time the student put products in my hair and they kept falling out. After 3 weeks of going back in to put them back I was fed up. Finally my friend that I referred she talked to her so bad about me plus over charged her so much $1,000 worth. I asked for my money back and she yelled at me. My hair has now been up for months because of this several inches of hair must be cut and finally I found a new place. I am still completely heartbroken.
