This is a review for the experience that I encountered with the associate today around 3:15pm. I walked in with my mother who is wheelchair bound. I asked the associate if she would be able to thread her eyebrows. The associate abruptly told me no. Taken off guard, the associate then began asking inappropriate questions to my mother disability, if she could transport herself onto the salon chair. If she could, would I have asked the associate to perform the service in her chair? The associate then asked if the chair could be raised in which I said no. Frustrated with the refusal of service due to my mother's disability I told the associate that we would leave. I also informed her that we have been to several establishments that do not refuse service due to disabilities (including eyebrow threading salons). I am inclined to wonder if this breaks disability acts. My experience here today was incredibly disappointing and felt my mother was discriminated against and unnecessarily interrogated. All customers should be treated equally and my experience today did not feel as such. read more

I used to go to the mission Viejo mall location, love those ladies, moved to Corona and been going to Alein for 2yrs now. My hair is so shiny and bouncy, the products used smell fresh and clean, and I love my cut so much! I told her I dont like razor cut or thinning shears even though my hair is super thick and she totally was on the same page , I love this salon so much. I have also got my eyebrows waxed and love them, and I have my boyfriend get his eyebrows cleaned up by Alein too, we love all the services this salon has to offer and the customer service is outstanding. I went in asking for a *clean up* I walk out with a new shape. She cut half of my eyebrows off in the end and then decided to remove the front of my eyebrows half an inch back. Had a great experience here with Aleen for hair and makeup for a family photoshoot. She was upfront with the pricing on the phone. Their pricing was better than other places I called in the area. She took a lot of time to get my makeup right (probably almost and hour), and made sure I was happy with it as we went along. She used high quality makeup like MAC. They even include fake lashes, which other places were charging extra for. At first I was worried because it looked like a lot of makeup, but she assured me it would look good in photos and I think she was right! She was super nice and made me feel comfortable and unintimidated. She seemed to really care about me looking good for my photoshoot and went above and beyond my expectations. I will be going here forever as long as Anju is working!! The first time I came was after someone else had completely destroyed my brows and she fixed them, even with barely any hair to work with. She's super kind and knows what she's doing. I gave her a picture of a style of brow that I want and she remembers every time I come in. She even gives me advice on how to maintain. Never fails, I've been here at least 4 times and every time I regret it. They never ask how my I would like my brows they just start treading away. They want you out as quick as possible no consultation or questions about your brows. I've always been left with thin brows with holes in them. They brush them all up and trim them so short it leaves gaps in my brows. I don't usually care about going makeup free and giving my skin a rest, but now even when I do that I have to fill in my brows it looks so bad. read more

Del Amo Fashion Center- I attempted to give this place a chance due to my eyebrow lady moving out of state. First off let me say that this team at this location is VERY unprofessional. To be completely honest I am not sure why I went back a total of three times. Perhaps because I wanted this place to work out for me. The first time I went I waited a total of 40 minutes. It looked like the girl was frantic and was in a hurry. Finally when I got to have my turn she tells me "Just a clean up? Looks like you need full face too" um excuse me?! That was rude. If I wanted my full face I would say something. After being in the chair and this lady ripping my hair off. She kept attempting to sell me a membership. After declining three times she finally gave up. The second time around there was no wait. However this lady was also very rude. As she was doing my eyebrows she said "Your skin is very dull and dry why?" And I told her "I suffer from a skin condition and I just had a treatment done at the dermatologist" and she proceeds to tell me "Mm I see it's not good looking you have a pretty face it should shine" again WHAT! She as well attempted to sell me a membership. And I declined politely but she was not having it. She then told me with a bad attitude "you end up paying more doing one time payment but if you want to spend more money be my guest" wow! Talk about great customer service. Now the third and LAST time I went there was no wait. And this lady who I think might be the owner (she's older short lady wish I would have gotten names) tells me "You have pretty brows just a clean up?" And I tell her yes. While she is doing my brows. She asks if I am a member and I say no. She continues to do my brows. And as she hands me the mirror I am mortified at what I see. My right eyebrow is missing a piece and now my brows are uneven. I ask if she was not paying attention, or the light was bad. And I clearly point out the mistake. She tells me "I can color in or do other eyebrow the same" at this point I am upset and I tell her "What's the point? You clearly messed up my brow what's the point in messing up the other one?" She then tells me "It's hair it will grow back" at this point I just wanted to get out of there. I never got a I am sorry, or anything. She seemed to have been upset because I was not a member of their overpriced membership. I highly advise everyone to stay away. Wish I had a corporate office to complain to about this entire thing. read more

I should have went to my normal threading place. Most horrible threading experience ever. I specifically asked to keep my brows the shape & thickness. I told her more than once that I just needed a clean & because she repeated what I asked for, I assumed she knew what she was doing. Again, I asked for her to clean my brows & to keep the shape AND thickness. She changed my brow shape AND threaded my brows way too thin. It seemed like it was the first time she threaded. This place is SO not worth the price. $15 for brow & $8 for upper lip. They also try to sell you a membership too. Thank goodness brow hair grows back. I will stick to Vinita's threading. read more

I went here last night for first time. Spoke with Lisa and she promised me she can do a refill to better my already existing extensions. She took me in room, no pads under my eyes, asked her why and she brushed it off. As they were drying after she added lashes, I blicked my eyes and kept telling her they are sticking, again brushed it off til I kept complaining so she pulled eyelids apart until unstuck... which hurt! told her my eye was irritated she said it would get better. All night my eye felt like something scaping my eye. Looked in magnify mirror and saw she glued a group of lashes ON MY WATERLINE!!! eyes hurt and I'm calling OTHER places but they wont touch because to close to eyeball and chemicals to remove too harsh!!! I Will NEVER recommend this place!! I am so upset!! If Lisa would of stopped making excuses and just Listen to me this could of been avoided! read more
