Her after care instructions are clear and concise, and she is very on top Of her touch ups. She's honest with her work, and explains everything, in detail. After brows, i started getting curious about her other talented abilities and inquired about her lashes. I had never had them done before, so she was careful to explain the process, the Maintanence, how to care for them for longevity, and, of course, what to expect. She does take her time, and the attention to detail is spot on. My lashes come out spectacular every time. And, if she doesn't like how something comes out, she fixed it before you'd ever have a chance to notice. 10 stars if I could give a 10 out of 10. Karolynn is an expert at her art. I found her here on Yelp and also checked out her Instagram to see more photos. I personally am not a fan of really overdone or over-shaded brows that look like you drew them in with a sharpie pen. I was also very nervous about getting this procedure done because it's basically a form of tattooing. But I opted for the microblading only, and I felt very assured that it would not look insane and leave me with regretful brows, lol. The result is so natural and the time it saves me getting ready is totally worth it. I reached out to Karolynn via Yelp and she responded in a very timely way. Definitely give yourself some time because her schedule is full and she books up in advance. The first consult she spent time cleaning up my natural brows and then she marked the shape of them. She definitely outlined them going along with my natural brows and did a wonderful job of placement. The first pass was done in a more conservative way because of course you can always add more, but you can't take away if you go too far with the microblading. Healing process went very well and at my touch-up appointment I was definitely ready to add a lot more strokes and have them be more filled in. Karolynn was responsive to this and did a fabulous job on the touch-up. I look forward to coming back in a year to get them touched up again. I had a consult with her and decided on the spot to go with her because I loved the shape she recommended as well as the color. I was in and out in about an hour. She uses really good numbing cream so I hardly felt a thing. It pretty much feels like tweezing; like little pricks. My first appointment was on April 19th and I went back for my touch up on May 30th. I fell even more in love with the color and shape tonight! The transformation is amazing! CONTACT KAROLYNN NOW! I would not even waste my time trying to search for any other hair/makeup artist (HMUA). There is no comparison. It was great that she knew how to work on both hair and makeup. It was like a one stop shop without having to worry about finding separate vendors. Not only is Karolynn such an amazing person inside and out, but she is also very professional and talented. You can tell that her years of experience have been mastered. My wedding was back in December 2016 and we had my HMUA trial beforehand to make sure it would be perfect on my wedding day. I made sure to have a few photo ideas to present to her so that she can know what I want for the big day. After the trial, I was confident that Karol would pull it off well. Whenever I had any questions or concerns about me or my bridal party for HMUA, Karol was readily available to respond whether text or email. Even when she was unavailable, she will contact you to let you know of her status when she can respond to you. She made me feel like I never had to worry. On the day of the wedding, her team arrived on time to assist with my bridal party early in the morning and then Karol always made sure that I was all relaxed on the chair while doing her work on me. At the end of our session, her vision for my hair and makeup was far more than what I had ever imagined or expected. It was even better!! I was totally blown away at how she made me feel so beautiful once I saw the everything done on the mirror. It was absolutely perfect and flawless! Before the wedding started, she made sure that I had a to-go kit that came in a cute little purse in case I needed any touch-ups with lipstick or any other product. During the wedding, my hair that was swept to the side had lasted pretty much the entire evening. It stayed in place and did not have to worry about getting it all messed up when I was dancing crazy on the dance floor. I expressed to Karol that I have oily skin too and she definitely took that into account the day of the wedding because I didn't feel like my face was oily at all. She listens well to your needs. Very nice lady but I'm am paying the price from going to her and now to have my eyebrows redone by someone else. That includes complete fill in, repair damage and color correction because the out side points of the brow were way to low and looked terrible. My new brow artist is having to add skin color tattoo where KC's work was done. Time consuming AND expensive. KC was $300.00, plus a free touch up. Yes she did reimburse me but since then I have paid. $450.00 for the first treatment with my brow artist, $150.00 touch-up and skin color correction and next week $75.00 for more skin color correction. I was not planning on leaving a review anywhere but my visit with her has cost me and people need to know. I think she has lots of experience with hair but not so much experience with Microblade eyebrows, find out how many before you go. My new brow artist showed me at least 3000. read more

As a professional model, I look for talented makeup artists wherever I go to a new city to shoot. This time I was in Cypress, CA and near Venice Beach, CA. I found Karolynn via Yelp.
