I made the appointment for Thursday. There appeared to be a lot of availability. On Wednesday, I received an auto text and email from the app that my appointment has been canceled with no explanation or offer of a reschedule. No telephone call or explanation for why they canceled the appointment. I suspect that it's because I made the mistake of putting in the notes of the appointment that I had a Groupon. So now I don't have time to make another appointment before my event I find it very unprofessional that they could not reach out to me personally in order to explain the cancellation and offer a time that could work, just an impersonal robot cancellation.

The owner, Claire, was wonderful! She greeted me at the door and she was friendly and professional. Her studio is so pretty, smells so nice and is super clean. She's also very sanitary. One major thing I loved was how my lashes turned out. I always ask for a wispy, fluffy look and it never quite looked soft enough for me, but Claire was able to achieve my desired look. I had a bit of a flu when I went, so my eyes were extra teary, but Claire was patient with me and didn't show any signs of annoyance, which I truly appreciated. I'm ecstatic that I found her especially that I won't have to travel far for beautiful set of lashes.

The website specifically stated that we would receive a separate text message confirming the appointment; which we did. Photo attached. When we arrived for our 6:30 PM appointment, we were told that the text message did not actually mean the appointment was confirmed and that appointments are only considered valid if the salon personally calls you afterward. Because of this, we were told we would need to wait until around 7:00-7:15 PM to be seen because they were too busy. Not only was the booking system misleading and disorganized, but the staff was also dismissive and unapologetic about the situation. There was no accountability for the confusion, despite their own system sending a confirmation text. If online bookings and confirmation texts do not actually secure appointments, that needs to be clearly communicated before customers waste their time driving there and rearranging their schedules. Otherwise, there is no point in offering online booking at all.
