What was most frustrating was seeing multiple employees standing around talking instead of acknowledging the delay. When the service had finally begun, it was just as disappointing. The male employee barely communicated with her throughout the appointment. Rather than politely asking her to reposition her hands, he repeatedly slapped them into place. I find that completely unprofessional and inappropriate, and had I known in the moment I would've walked out then and there. The nails took only about 30 minutes, and the turnout was very poor. The nails were noticeably crooked, lifting immediately, and had excess glue left around them. After waiting over two hours for sloppy work and spending $100, there is no justification for the high price to begin with. Very disappointing that there is such an awful salon in our new and developing shopping center. Believe all the poor reviews, don't waste your time or money.

Scheduling was easy, and they have a wide selection of colors. The color I chose is pretty, and my…read morenails look nice at first glance. Up close, though, the uneven shaping bothers me. My Gel-X nails appear to lean to the left, with more filing on the left side and tips that look off-center. I'm detail-oriented, so this stood out to me. When I pointed it out, Phoebe seemed bothered, and I felt uncomfortable asking for further adjustments. I also asked for my toenails to be filed shorter. The left was shortened, but the right wasn't filed to match, leaving them uneven. Something that should have been a simple request felt like an issue. I wanted a muted or "hidden" French, but she wasn't familiar with how to create that style. Phoebe also left without saying anything to me. I don't get my nails done often, and I wanted to enjoy the experience. Instead, I felt anxious throughout the appointment and close to tears at one point. I tried to focus on having something checked off my to-do list, but I left disappointed. When I'm paying for a service, I expect to be able to point out uneven shaping and have it addressed without feeling uncomfortable. I can explain what looks off, but I'm relying on the technician's expertise to make the nails even. Unfortunately, I probably won't return.
