Was in the neighborhood and hungry so I decided to check it out with some decent reviews. Crew was…read morewelcoming but there were a few areas of the business that lost some stars. I'm a fan of a crusty or hard bread and this was the other extreme of being soft and fluffy. Not my style. Additionally I found the Grum sandwich to be just fair. I guess I had a hard time getting thru the bread issue. Not a fan of the banana peppers so they were not a part of my meal and also had extra of their dry seasoning mix which was then a bit salty. I do prefer extra oregano but that was not available. In addition I'm in town on business and I couldn't combo it with chips and a drink. Find a way to offer it. Those side items add quickly for your profits. I wouldn't go back but understand how some may find it to be in their groove. Pricing was more than fair and it was quality product.

The woman at the counter was very friendly. The food was very good. I had a burger. My wife had a cheesesteak. We shared the peach cobbler poundcake. All were good choices. The star was the cheesesteak. Being asked to tip beforehand ($8 on a $41 tab, total $49) is mildly annoying. I ordered from the counter, we ate out of styrofoam takeout boxes, and we cleaned up our own trash. I don't mind tipping, and I tip well for good service. I waited tables for two years, so I understand how important tips are to wait staff. But I don't think there are any waiters here. Anyway, good food, pleasant staff, and clean restaurant. Would recommend.

There's plenty of seating inside as well as an outdoor patio that was fairly enjoyable to sit on. Plus I appreciate that there wasn't any music overpowering the whole room. The service was lovely; very helpful and attentive. They were out of the cubano but I did enjoy their version of a patty melt. The fries were also quite delicious and plentiful. I knocked off a couple of stars because I am a little bummed that my only bread choices were white bread or brioche bun. Plus the burger that I ordered "medium" was pretty well done. There are things on the menu that I would go back for though and the fries alone are worth a return visit.

At first, when I saw that the Korean fried chicken sandwich was $17, I was slightly outraged,…read moreespecially since it didn't even come with fries or any kind of side. Then I got the sandwich, and I was like, actually, $17 is a more than fair price, LOL. For a second, I attempted to eat it with my hands, but its size made it an unwieldy experience. So I ate it with a knife and fork. And it was DELICIOUS. The sandwich came with a big piece of crispy fried chicken that the bun could barely contain. The chicken was fried fresh, so it was hot and juicy. In addition to being hot in temperature, it was hot spice-wise. It came with candied jalapeños, soy chili jam, pickles, and Sriracha. The spice was balanced well with some nice sweetness and a tasty kale slaw that added some brightness to the sandwich. Even the bun itself was delicious. The place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a few tables if you want to dine in. The water is self-serve. There are cups and a sport cooler in front of the counter.

I pulled up the Chicken Ranch menu online and decided I would try them. It is a small establishment. Tables were clean. There is seating inside and two small tables outside for diners. The manager was explaining they make everything fresh and offered to answer any questions I had. I took a look at the specials then decided on a two piece crispy tenders meal. It came with a jalapeño corn muffin. It was 10 dollars and I chose a chocolate chip cookie with caramel and pecans in it because, why not. My chicken was delicious. I chose hot honey sauce because I was curious. It was so spicy and cleaned my sinuses right up. The sauce came on the side, thank goodness for that. The muffin was OK. It would have been better warmed. The cookie: sooooo good. Because I was being nice, I gave my kid a piece, but next time I will eat it in the car before I get home, like the pros do.
