I had to get a new refrigerator and the online order process was quick and easy. I was compelled to purchase (separately) and water hose for the ice maker hook-up, which doesn't exist at my refrigerator space. This was an $18 hose I didn't need. But the installer helped me get a refund for this unnecessary purchase, and the delivery process was quick and efficient. But these guys are paid on the basis of per-unit delivered, not per hour. So they left a couple of relatively minor items unfinished and I get that. I encourage Home Depot to pay their subsidiary employees on an hourly basis rather that piece work. It gives them enough time to really provide that "white glove" service we deserve and that they want to deliver.

All of his employees and specialists are top notch, hard working, and respectful. When we eventually redo our kitchen, I will definitely be using RKB.

****DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A PROFESSIONAL JOB****…read moreFrank no longer works for the company. He's who I originally worked with because of his good reviews.  Richard nickel and dimed us throughout the project, made verbal agreements and then went back on them, and did not manage the job being the licensed contractor. He used an unlicensed tile guy.  All of the tile had to be removed because the vapor barrier was not installed correctly not to mention the grout lines were uneven.  Tiles just fell from the wall due to not being secured to the wall properly.  Not only did I have to spend my time removing the Shotty tile work but I also had to replace the tile that was wasted costing me another $150.  The only time I saw him was to check status of the job and collect payment. He does not do any of the work. He does not use a licensed plumber or tile professional and is the most unprofessional contractor I have worked with. I have had a full kitchen remodel, Ac install, plumbing contractor and other jobs around the house to name a few. I started documenting the account of our interactions once I felt he was trying to take advantage of me. Communication was rude and I did not feel like I was given common courtesy of status updates or schedules for the on going project. My family and I were put at risk during asbestos tile being removed by a kid clearly not trained in asbestos abatement.  Richard wasn't present for that nor did he warn me of the health risks or have me evacuate my animals and family.  All of the materials were carried through the house and at no time were we warned.  Lack of communication with his team and with myself on what I am required to pay for and what is provided.  Richard told me I did not need to be home during the bathroom remodel however I was home and a good thing too.  All of his crew had so many questions that I had already went over with Richard.  The major details of the job were not clear to his crew and they needed verification to do the work.  So the job was delayed 5 days 1 of which cost me $420 and the other four days due to Richard double booking his work. June 23 Richard stopped by to collect payment for the completed steps of the job. I was not home but he met with my wife where he proceeded to tell her that he had to "stick to his guns" and charge us the extra $400 for the tile. She did not agree and asked that he speak with me since he made the deal with me now twice. He never contacted me and on Sunday night around 9:30 pm he text me to tell me that due to personnel issues he would not be working on the project on Monday morning as promised. The job was quoted to take 3 weeks. We are now on week four and decided we no longer wanted to work with him. We ended up paying over $6,000 dollars and 3 weeks of our time rearranging schedules to accommodate his workers schedules and still do not have the use of our bathroom.  Once I saw how unfinished his website is I should have trusted my gut instinct to not do business with him. Pay the extra money for a professional if you want the job done right the first time.  That's the kind of unfinished project you can expect from Richard.

I have a Korean countertop that was installed by the previous owner and I got a new stove and accidentally burned it and it cracked. This company was able to repair the work and it looks absolutely brand new. I am so thankful. In addition, I had another spot and my pictures aren't very good, but I had another spot where an electrical cord literally like exploded and caught fire and it scorched the top surface and they were able to fix it even though it was against the backsplash and you could never tell it was there. I am just beyond happy and beyond thrilled. John Bennett was my service technician. He showed up extremely prompt. Actually I realized he was there early, but didn't ring the door until it was the time that they had allotted. He was very friendly. He gave me advice as to how to prevent it from happening in the future, which he asked me to increase the height of my stove. I felt like that was going above and beyond to make sure that I didn't necessarily have to call them back. He also put some heat tape on the side so that it would be better protected for future use as well. He cleaned up. Everything was very kind very courteous and very professional. If I ever need them again I will definitely reach out because they were just a top notch company. Stephanie is the person I worked with in facilitating it. She was also amazing. Very straightforward. Was not very pushy. Just helped me get what I needed and I'm just so thankful to have worked with this company they are a top notch grade a type of company. Highly recommend.

Ive had a very hard time finding a contractor to replace it because it involves cutting the old sink out and cutting the countertop to fit a new sink. Over about a month of back and forth emails and calls (during a larger restoration project), Stephanie helped me come up with a plan to replace this sink and helped pick out a new sink that would work with my setup. Unfortunately when it came time to install they were booked out another month so we had to go with another installer who had more immediate availability but our sink replacement would not have been possible without the planning and assistance of Back to Perfection. I like many renovating homeowners watch HGTV like it's going out of style and well I saw a kitchen that I could just die for and it had the most beautiful tile backsplash. So I was on a mission I can have the same look, until I went to Lowes and saw that each PIECE was $20.00 ++a square foot. Um $600.00++ for a back splash I think not!!! I knew I could find this tile somewhere else so I did some research and happened to stumble upon an online wholesaler who happened to be in Southern California, (so I called) who happened to be in San Diego, who happened to be right around the corner from where I work. As I walked in to this office space I was greatly surprised by the sheer beauty of what they had to offer.. All the new and up and coming tile materials you could think of all in this showroom. The Five Elements is by far the nicest place I have been to here in San Diego I thought for sure this was going to be a spendy trip. I was WRONG they had exactly what I wanted for a phenomenal price. I ended up doing my kitchen and bathroom and now we are thinking about doing 1 more bathroom. If you are looking for innovative tile from the floor to the walls you should check this place out! Ask for Tony he was awesome! PS they always have sales it'e worth the trip trust me!
