7 year update - still very satisfied with the shed, it's going strong and used daily. Original review- We ordered a 14x14, tall gable shed from Outback Wood Products and are very happy. I called on a weekend and Michael answered the phone. He was courtous and answered all of our questeions in a professional manner. We had looked at getting a Tuff Shed but decided to go with Outback because for about the same price we got so much more than what Tuffshed wanted for a 10x12 with the style and options we wanted but would have been slightly shorter. Michael called the day before he was going to arrive just as a reminder to me and to fill me in on their schedule. At ~7:30 the next morning he arrived with his crew and got to work. When I came home from work the shed was built and we were able to start painting. He did put off doing the shingles until the next day because the heat and humidity was just atrocious that day but it was understandable. As he promised, early the next day they finished the shingling. The shed is very sturdy, attractive and seems to be quite flush. I'm very happy with the results and would recommend them. We contacted Mike back in June 2020 and got our custom shed in 4 weeks. This is my first shed and I read a lot of reviews online stating shed kits at big box stores often have warped wood and poor quality hardware. I decided to go the custom route and I'm so glad I did! Last year we were in dire straits. We needed to move away from the tent storage we'd said was "temporary" into a more permanent structure. PreFab options were too flimsy and limited. Then we found Outback. After looking through the site we decided this is what we wanted. The price was right, the installation went flawlessly, the shed is fantastic! Perfect for our storage needs. Outback installed two sheds for me. The quality is excellent. I compared to offerings from Home Depot and Lowe's. Their base price was similar to Outback's, but once you added in "options" like, foundation blocks, vents, shingles, and studs on 16" centers they were significantly more expensive. All these options were included in my price from Outback. The proprietor, Michael, did the work himself with one helper. They were on time (early actually) and got the job done as promised. We are very satisfied with the 6X8 tall gable shed Michael built for us. It was a tight space, just barely big enough for the shed, but through email and phone calls he figured out it was possible and let me know what to do to prepare the site.
