Personal white Pizza with onions and peppers
    Maria E.

First time eating here and my gosh it's delicious. I came in for lunch & I ordered the personal white pie and added peppers and onions. Truly,it's one of the best white pies I have had. They bake it with garlic in the white sauce and it adds a great taste to it. The dough itself is so fluffy, I haven't experienced a pizza dough this airy should I say? Most importantly my crust wasn't burned. Often times with coal brick oven pies, I find the crust burns. I also ordered a side of fries and they were nice & crispy and not an oily mess. Overall I recommend this pizzeria and look forward to return to try other items on the menu.

    Fried calamari - extra crispy

This is one of my fave pizza spots and haven't wrote a review for this place yet. Parking can be hectic but Ridgewood in general is popping especially dinner time. There is no line usually but it can be busy if you are indoor dining. The fried calamari is really good and compared to the other Brooklyn pizzerias, it's the best one out of all of them. Plain cheese pizza (sold only by the pie) is good alone but I usually get pepperoni with it. Hot sausage topping is not bad as well. If your in the mood for pizza this is the spot. *cash only

    amazing pizza!

Came here when my partner and I were strolling through town during a recent visit. We were hoping to find somewhere not too crowded just as we were with my parents and COVID cases were on the rise again. We popped by here and thought some pizza sounded like the perfect afternoon treat. We ended up ordering a small cheese pizza to split. The order was ready fairly quickly, and were were both ready to dive in. This type of pizza is one of my favorites - super thin crust, really tasty sauce and nice fresh tasting mozzarella cheese. We ended up eating the whole pie, and I would've been happy to eat it again for dinner. I know NJ isn't enforcing masks (or wasn't when we were there), so the staff was unmasked. Would just flag this to anyone looking for a masked environment for a meal! Cash only, which I learned on Yelp but was not mentioned when we originally ordered.

    Penne pasta with sausage

The pizza was very good but the garlic bread takes the prize. It's shaped like a pizza and while the outside pieces aren't as filled with garlic, it was a different and welcomed approach. I ordered the penne pasta with sausage and it was a very good size and good price. The staff was accommodating. While I would like a little more diversity on the menu (penne pasta with chicken or sandwiches), it was a good meal for all parties.

(Plain) Cheese and tomato large pie

Cash only! The pizza is very good. Good crust, home made sauce. Their "plain" pizza is the cheese and tomato pie. It's fresh muzz on a margarita style pizza. Very delicious. The white pizza is good too but very garlicky. They don't have a lot of menu options for apps and what not. I'd love to see wings on their menu one day. Their prices are excellent for what you're getting. Probably because it's a cash only business. The Caesar salad is like $4.25 and it's huge. All in all, good food I like ordering take out here. They're always busy though and sometimes it's hard to get through but it's worth it!

This pizza is exceptional. Sadly they don't deliver but the pizza is worth picking up. Give it a try. #onebite review 7.8

We strolled in at around 5:45 on an early Saturday evening on a brick cold New Jersey day and they were BUSSSSY. There weren't many patrons dining inside their small restaurant, but there seemed to be PLENTY of takeout business for whole pies and delivery too. In addition, they had, if my count was correct, at least 9 gentlemen working behind the counter, which pretty much speaks for the volume of business they have (else they are grossly overemployed and overpaying). From what I saw just based on the pizzas on display next to the cash register, the slices looked pretty good. Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, looks can be deceiving. Not to say that the pizza was bad, but it could have been better on multiple fronts. We ordered 4 slices - plain cheese, pepperoni, buffalo and a Santoni's Special. In addition, my wife, veering on the healthier (and smarter) side, ordered a pear salad with chicken. First, I didn't get to try the pear salad, but my wife raved about how good it actually was and how she thoroughly enjoyed it as we munched on our pizza, which she should have been jealous of, but shockingly wasn't. Second, the pizza. My kids ate almost the entirety of their plain cheese and pepperoni slices, so I didn't have a chance to try them, other than a few roni cups that my son claimed were too spicy for him. As for my slices, the buffalo and Santoni's Special, the buffalo was a doozy. When I bite into a buffalo pizza slice, there's nothing I hate more than the fact that it lacks buffalo flavoring and this one was one of those cases. It was more on the side of just tasting like a chicken pizza slice with a slight hint of buffalo flavoring, if that. The Santoni's Special was a bit better in that it had green peppers, sausage, pepperoni, onion and mushroom. It reminded me of a Sbarro supreme slice of pizza. It might not seem like much of a compliment, but I actually enjoyed the Santoni's Special, albeit it was not on the piping hot side, nor did it keep is shape. In fact, neither slice I had was hot, which was very surprising considering that it took a while for them to be served to us, which can only have meant that it was heated up in the oven --- or so I thought????? Also, both slices I ate completely fell apart in that when I tried to fold them in half (like how a true New Yorker eats their slices of pizza), they cracked at the crust and broke creating a fissure looking like I had cut the pizza in that area. It was somewhat annoying as I had to eat the slice with 2 hands, which to me, is a big no-no as one should be able to devour a slice by holding it with just one hand. What self-righteous pizza lover holds a slice of pizza with 2 hands? Well, I had to unfortunately because of the fault line on my pizza. The pizza here definitely has potential and I don't know what a whole pie would taste like, but I'm pretty sure it would be fresher than the slices we had. I get that pizzas where slices are served from are typically sitting out for long periods, but you gotta heat the slices up a lot longer. Cold pizza should only be reserved for the morning when you wake up from that hang over and don't have the mental acuity to throw it in the oven or microwave it.

I did order a couple of rice bowls, but somehow they were not included, and I don't think I was charged for them so since they would've been for next week, I'm not going to worry about it.. We definitely have enough food for leftovers. I particularly love the eggplant Parmesan because it is thin and cheesy and delicious. We both both enjoyed the crispy fried shrimp, which was everything fried shrimp should be, crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. The shrimp franchise was a nice compliment With butter and wine taste. Honestly, this is a wonderful dinner to take home. We always get enough food for extra because leftovers are also . Frank is always wonderful with getting the orders. The staff are always polite and professional. We also got some grandma's cookies, that if you're Italian, you know the little cookies with the white icing and the sprinkles. My grandmother used to make them so I really enjoyed them. We have ordered from them before, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, and some other food. Also, if you get the chance, try their sausage and peppers because the sausage is absolutely delicious once again another wonderful meal. I love cooking, but I also love the chance to just sit back, eat delicious food and not touch a frying pan or baking dish. By the way, I could make eggplant Parmesan if I want to, but couldn't read the shrimp dishes so good so my thought is why due to work and buy all those little ingredients that make it special when I can go to Best Of Everything if you never have you do have to try them. The only downside is that the parking is sometimes not too good in small town Ridgewood.

No place in the US is as good as true Italian, until this place. This is authentically Italian in the best way. The food is all fresh, farm to table. My salad tasted like it was from Chez Panisse, which is famous for its salads. The pasta was freshly made; the tiramisu was the best I've had outside of Italy, and better than many in Italy, which I've never said in the US anywhere. The staff was delightful and helpful. The head chef is truly Italian and knows what she is doing!, Elisa and Aydon were both fantastic servers. Give both of them a bonus! The ambiance was great, with beautiful lighting and decor. It seemed slowly cooked and the texture was too soft for me I did have the octopus, but the flavor from the olives and capers were too overpowering. These comments are mainly opinions from my long professional career. The one thing that I did not care for or agree was the cost of pasta being over $29, specially with just tomato sauce. Our industry is charging obscene pricing on pasta dishes, especially ones that do not have high cost ingredients to them. Look, make the pasta great.Keep the ingredients simple and charge pricing? That will keep customers coming back more often than not.
