I tried Brooklyn Pizza because I'm thinking New York. They should change the name to Florida pizza and I'll tell you why. I ordered a cheese and sausage to go. Folks the sausage look like lunchmeat very thin slices similar to pepperoni. That won't happen in New York no way in Brooklyn they'll grab a hunk a sausage and load the pizza up with their hand so you got chunks here and there prove me wrong. Such a little bitty tiny bit of sauce. The cheese was good and the dough is excellent. Folks it's very hard to get a good pizza in Florida but if you're in your neighborhood try Pizza shack at rocks Road near Walsingham. Being originally from Brooklyn and living in NJ most of my life finding good pizza in FL is tough. Well at least in my area the search is over. The sauce was excellent and the pizza was thin and cooked perfect. Will definitely be back! read more

The food and service was good!! My only complaint is that it is extremely loud in there the restaurant was crowded but because of the type of ceiling they have everything echoes!! We stopped here for the first time and were really happy with this new place. We split a meatball appetizer and it was delicious. The meatballs we're perfectly spicy. The pizza we got was delicious. The sauce was just the right kind of spicy and the toppings were very generous. The owner even gave my wife a free dessert because her hand was injured. I can stop searching. I found it. Finally real NY pizza in Florida! Started with a great salad. The garlic knots (really like crescent rolls) are amazing. We had to get a second order. My b.i.l. ordered a pizza (Godfather maybe?) with all kinds of veg and sausage and meat. Thin-ish crust. He devoured that before I could get a pic. I had the chicken parm & pasta. Excellent! The true test of good Italian food is the meatballs. Soooo good I almost cried. I'll be back. And if you're looking for NY style Italian food, give this place a shot. read more

Nice place. we've ordered take-out and ate there last Saturday. They had no open table, so we ate at the bar and they offered to re-seat us when a table became open. Excellent Pizza and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that they sometime burn the bottom and that makes for a less tasty pie. The Antipasti Salad is awesome and the beer and wine service is excellent--they offer frosted glasses with the beer and the wine prices seemed reasonable. Very good New York style pizza close to Indian shores beach! We ordered the pepperoni pizza, very good, and the white pizza, so yummy with lots of fresh ingredients! We also ordered the garlic knots, which did not have as much flavor as I'd hoped and were a little dry, I wouldn't really recommend those. But the pizza was great! As a native New Yorker this place has the best pizza I've ever had here in Florida. I could even go as far as saying they give some pizza joints in NYC a run for their money. A must try for anyone who love good pizza. Thin crust BIG slices, what's there not to like!? I placed an order for a small 10' pizza with pepproni and extra cheese which is my all time favorite. I was around the corner at the Freedom Square Rehab and needed delivery. It was quick and hot. The cheese overflowed when melted which was great. Qquality pepperoni was just a little crunchy on the edge like we like it. Being from NY/NJ of course I would try Brooklyn Pizza! Other than the being quite pricey $14 for the pizza & $17 with tip. It was good but unless I eat there, delivery is out of the question. read more

We have always ordered for delivery from this restaurant. The previous two orders have left us with pizzas that are uncooked in the middle, and soft/non-crispy French fries and a personal wish we had not made the same mistake we made. Please do not misunderstand--our first 3 orders were perfect and we thought we had found nirvana for ordering pizza. We will probably try them in the future, but the Tampa Bay Area offers many choices and it is our perception that Brooklyn Pizza is not as careful with delivery orders as they once were. This is our fifth time dining here and we have enjoyed the pizzas we have had. The Hawaiian Brah is loaded with crisped applewood bacon, Canadian bacon and chunks of fresh pineapple. The Bronx bomber was very filling with all the hearty ingredients. I think their tomato sauce is secret to the rich flavor of the pizzas. Their "small" side salad with a nice light vinaigrette was plenty for the both of us to share. Don't forget the onion rings! Service is quick and friendly. read more

This place is fantastic; we've eaten here several times and the food has always been great. We have never been disappointed until tonight, but the experience as a whole is what will keep me coming back. We came in tonight for dinner as I have been excited to try their zoodle dish. All of our food (my husband ordered a pizza and we also got wings) came out quickly and was delicious but I wasn't impressed with my zoodle dinner. It wasn't what I was expecting and that, to me, isn't justification enough to send it back. I picked around at it, ate all the broccoli and the chicken, and left probably 1/2 the plate of zoodles and spinach. The owner came over and immediately told me "you didn't like it, I can tell" and I reluctantly told him that it was ok but not what I was expecting. Despite the fact that I'd eaten most of the dish he still offered to get me something else on the house and he wouldn't take no for an answer. I settled on some meatballs and, no surprise, they were fantastic. Lots of places will acknowledge that you didn't like a meal and apologize. Not all of them will acknowledge that, also acknowledge that you ate most of it, and still make something new for you. This place is awesome and although the zoodle dinner wasn't for me they've still got a loyal customer here. I couldn't speak more highly of Brooklyn Pizza, they are absolutely top notch. read more

Tried this place because we saw Charley Belcher reccomend it. I first ordered stuffed zucchini rolls for an appetizer.. waitress came right cake said they were out of them. Ordered zucchini sticks instead.they were ok. Nothing very special. Hubby ordered the monster stromboli personal size. Said it was very good. But he was disappointed in how small it was for $12.00. I ordered the White out pizza. Really enjoyed it. Not skimpy on the toppings. Crust is very good. BIGGEST complaint is our waitress. Spread to thin. Waited long for a to go box. She completely forgot about us. Unfortunately we sat right next to the soda fountain which was our mistake. What I witnessed every time a waiter filled a beverage was the ice getting stuck as it fell from the dispenser.. the other waiters used straws to dislodge the ice. Our waitress however used her fingers and put the ice right into the cup. MULTIPLE times. When she did use a straw she wiped it on her jeans. If they get another beverage system I would return. But as it is now I would NOT recommend this place. read more

We could not find a regular cheese pie on the menu (it's strangely listed as a "build your own" at the very bottom) and our fault for not asking......so we went with the margarita and garlic knots. The knots are just ok, I don't really care for them. The pizza was good, based on the seasoning, but seriously lacked cheese. Even a margarita pizza should be sufficiently covered with mozzarella, we only found a few spots..... Service was great and - we walked out with half a meatball pizza for free, because the previous customer didn't like bell pepper and had ordered a new one. The owner simply gave us half of it - FREE! Now that's how you get customers to remember you. We'll be back to try the cheese pie next - it's our favorite pizza anywhere we go. read more
