Wonderful pizza and super nice people. We always order here when we want pizza and have never been disappointed.

We had the thing they called pizza. It started out with a slight chemical odor, but we pushed though to try and eat some. We could not eat it it wasn't real cheese. it separated, and it couldn't be chewed. I gave this to the outside critters and they wouldn't even eat it. This is shameful, this pizza was $23 for a medium- it was more like a small. Eating anything out these days is a big deal, it is a treat that only happens about once a year because everything is so expensive, as I am sure others can understand this. I completely understand restaurants needing to want to save in any way they can these days, but these businesses can apply to get tariff money back, if they have had t0 suffer in this economic downturn: I however cannot. After a few more visits, unfortunately I have to take away one star. While the first pizza we got from here was excellent, the rest have not been as good. I recently got a take-out supreme pizza here. While decent, there was barely any sauce and the sauce that was present had very little flavor. Maybe I hit them on an off night? Their pizzas do average about $4 - 5 less than my usual favorite pizza joints, so maybe it is just a case of "you get what you pay for?" Just stumbled upon the place, saw the $5.99 2 slices and a drink special sign out front so decided to give it a try. Staff was very freindly and pizza just came out of the over nice and hot, it was delicious. The sauce tasted authentic italian. Was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture, but the slices were HUGE and a great value I will be back! read more

We wanted something different for our pizza dinner so I searched through Yelp to find Fronte. I swear that I live in an area of Pinellas that has some amazing pizzerias, so trying something new is not always a thought. I ordered online, thinking that is would be a standard wait of 35-40 minutes, but no, pizza was ready in 15 My son went with the abstract, bbq chicken pizza, which made all my afterlife Italian relatives rollover in their graves. My daughter loves simple cheese pizza. I will say, the bbq chicken pizza had great flavor!! Everything blended very well! The cheese pizza was okay- cheese wasn't ooey, gooey enough for me. I like my cheese pizza super thin with a pool of oil on top that runs down your arm when folded and brought to the mouth. They have other items on the menu that we will try next time. read more

For a couple months now I have been trying pizza places that serve slices (check my other reviews). This was not on my radar even though I had been driving by it on my way to work. Decided to head there on a Friday when management was out for the day, it is a bit of drive from the office. As usual I ordered the two slice special...12oz drink (cans) came with $5.99. To start with, this place isn't really for dinning in, one table inside and a small outside for two. It was a nice day and sat outside watching the cars go by on "Street 66". The "PIE", like others who reviewed it is alright, nothing too special. For being slices that were warmed up the crust was not as crispy as others. Taste wise it was good as well and a nice size. Just need to work on the crust. As for overall, it's a pizza joint for pick-up or delivery and for the occasional drive by slice...it worth a try. read more

A neighborhood pizza joint that has been serving the Kenneth City/Bonnie Bay area for years, I don't brag on them often enough. Take out or delivery only. We saw someone making white pizza on a cooking show and got an immediate craving, so called for take out. Their white pizza is my favorite, but they offer a wide range of Italian dishes. The crust is "just right" with crispy edges and thick enough to not be soggy in the center. Wife isn't a big pizza fan so she ordered spaghetti, which was great. As I removed the spaghetti from the bag, I joked that it must be 5 lb. No idea what the actual weight was, but she had her fill and still has lunch for several days. I have to mention the massive wings. Great flavor and as large as any I've had anywhere. Friendly staff makes it a delight to go pickup rather than ordering delivery. With pizza stores of several national chains in the area, Fronte cares and beats them hands down read more

Delicious thin crust pizza and prices are very reasonable! Excellent coupons and daily deals Tha make their food even more affordable! They have a pretty extensive menu for such a little place from hot and cold subs, Italian dish staples as well as fried shrimp and tenders and wings and even offer a few desserts. Their calzone is huge and can easily feed two, or in my case one, but I'm a glutton! I also saw that they offer deep dish pies as well, but can't speak for those. Randomly decided to try this place as I saw it had some positive reviews. My fiancé and I got the garlic knots with marinara and a large cheese pizza. The garlic knots are fresh and not greasy. I wish they were a bit more garlicky. The sauce they gave us on the side was watered down. I prefer chunky marinara. Off the bat, the pizza is slightly greasy, but I like the look of the crust. The sauce is good and has a slightly sweet taste to it and I can't put my finger on it. Pizza is cooked thoroughly. I just wish the crust was a bit crispier on the bottom. It's not over kneaded or tough. Overall, pretty solid pizza pizza joint! read more

Tried the Calzone w Italian Sausage. It was a decent calzone with good overall flavor. The two cups of sauce was very good and pleased that two were provided. The ricotta wasn't seasoned. The calzone crust was not crispy and was hard to cut w a plastic knife on the bottom. It was a chewy crust. Not all to my liking. The chicken parm sub was not breaded and the chicken was diced plain chicken, so was not classic chicken parm sub style. The fries with cheese and bacon were good and the pizza was good as well. I think I was hoping for a more authentic Italian sub. read more

Recently relocated to St. Pete and tried this place after getting a not so good pizza from Papa John's. Have to admit that I was quite surprised with the pizza. I ordered the 5-Meat Pizza and it was very good. The crust is crispy without being overdone, the sauce has a sweet flavor to it, and the cheese is just thick enough without being too much, and the meats were perfectly done as well. A true pizza test: How does it taste cold the following day...awesome. This place has surpassed all to become my go to pizza place. My only complaint, get another phone line, I called twice and was put on hold both times for more than 5 minutes each and still didn't get my pizza...had to take a chance with Pizza Hut. A friend and I happened by this place for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We ate the pizza at the kitchen table stuffed in the corner of the place (definitely not a dine in place) but it didn't matter. The pizza was great! The crust was awesome - light and flaky. I am a die-hard pizza eater and am super picky but this place totally nailed it. The two guys working there were really nice and very friendly. It was a great experience. I don't necessarily live within delivery distance but next time we are in the area or I'm passing through, I'll be picking up a pie to go! Oh, one more thing - very reasonably priced! This is my regular pizza and wing place. I ordered wings on a Saturday evening. They arrived and the driver didn't have a pen so I could sign the charge slip. I asked him how people sign for their food without a pen and he said that the customers usually have one. I didn't have a pen, so I sort of jokingly said that I didn't have a pen so I guess I don't get my wings. So he turned around and walked away! And then they charged me for the wings anyway.
