It is an app, but plenty of food for one small gal. Then ordered desert... very nice they brought us out mini-cannolis for our birthday. We ordered the Tiramisu. It did not come out cold and they put a big glob of choc mousse on top..... who needs that if the tiramisu is good. But the Tiramisu we all decided was not very good. So now the bill comes....When you get the bill they add 15% service fee on there.... for what? The back of house, part is a tip and the rest are owner trying to gouge you so you feel you should give another 20%. I truly hate this..... As for our meals, I got the Agnolotti, & it was incredible. The small ravioli-type noodles were cooked well, & the short rib inside was flavorful & a great texture. Maeva and Christina never seemed to stop moving; giving recommendations, crafting cocktails, checking on guests, and somehow keeping everyone's glasses full while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. The food is absolutely something to rave about. I honestly wanted to order one of everything on the menu. The garlic bread may sound like a simple starter, but it's anything but ordinary. The salmoriglio, roasted garlic, fresh parmesan, and crisp texture come together to create something that's incredibly satisfying. I only planned to have a couple bites before my meal, but I ended up eating a couple pieces. Also, the meatballs are worth trying as well. They had moisture, flavor and the tomato sauce sealed the deal. To drink, I started with a classic Negroni and later enjoyed a Last Word with my entrée. Both cocktails were exceptionally well balanced and paired beautifully with the food. For my main course, I ordered the scallops. They were cooked perfectly and served over a creamy herbed risotto with romanesco and piquillo peppers. The crispy slice of prosciutto added the finishing touch, bringing just the right amount of texture and saltiness to the dish. Everything fit together beautifully and tasted every bit as good as it looked. I cleaned the plate as best as I could. My husband and I used to frequent the South Tampa location for years before finally trying the newer St. Pete spot, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. The food is consistently delicious. I ordered the rice balls as an appetizer to share and for lunch, I enjoyed the chicken Milanese, which was a massive portion. It's literally two chicken cutlets. We started with the Arancini which were small balls in a delicious sauce followed by the crudo which was fantastic. A picture is shown. I was worried because the fish was is large thick slices, but they melted in our mouths. We need a spoon next time for the fantastic sauce. I had the Cacio E Pepe which usually has a very think sauce but this version had a heavier sauce but equally good. The scallops were a little salty but a well crafted dish. We had a side of the mushrooms and risotto which I thought we'd take home but it surprisingly disappeared! The only issue was the valet. The presentation was creative, but the flavor was underwhelming. I didn't try more after the initial bites. Service was consistently excellent. Staff were attentive and personable, food was delivered promptly, and water glasses were always full. Would I return? Yes. I've been to the Olivia Tampa location multiple times, but this was my first time trying it out in St. Pete! Much like the Tampa location, the food and vibes were amazing. I usually get the cacio e Pepe but decided to try the bolognese and it was very, very good! Definitely a place to try out in Downtown St. Pete! read more
