Great place for drinks on central!
Charles C.

Great ambiance, young beautiful people being happy drinking great spirits served by Michael!

Tried this spot for the first time with a friend while visiting and boy was this THE spot. It's sexy while casual as in you just walk in and order, seating is first come first serve with a decent capacity considering the space. We ordered dirty martini and cherry jubilee and my goodness were these DELICIOUS. Highly recommend popping in having a fabulous drink.

Cool craft cocktails. Cannot modify them but they are unique drinks. Bartender mentions if I didn't like how it was made then she would let me try something else so that was nice. Nice open setting to sit in or outside the bar. Seems like they change their drink menus every so often and would come back to try others

Bar Mezzo is definitely going to be a new favorite cocktail spot. With limited table space, it's more intimate, and the large doors open up to Central Ave, which gives it a charming environment. As a sister spot to Intermezzo, there's not a huge difference between the two concepts other than different cocktail menus, but as a fan of both spots: "if it ain't broke don't fix it" :)

Came here for the 1st time and will def be back. Strawberry Fizz is my 2nd fave cocktail of all time--no strong alcohol flavor but still gives a good buzz, tastes like a boba. It was so cute another girl even asked me what I was drinking + offered to take photos of us. We got there around 8PM and almost all the seats were full so I imagine this place gets pretty packed. Bar staff was quick and friendly, when we left around 9:30PM a DJ was setting up--plan to come back later in the future!

This is the newly opened sister concept to Intermezzo, and it's gorgeous! They have some outdoor seating in a little courtyard area and some tables and chairs inside. No reservations, it's all first come first served. My friend and I came into check out Miracle at Mezzo on a Tuesday at 7pm, and every table was taken! We were able to secure some seats outside. I'm not sure if Bar Mezzo will be themed all the time or if it will have a specific, classic look after Miracle is over, but the music was loud, the decor was fun, and the bartender was very nice. We each chose a seasonal cocktail as a mocktail, and sat outside.

Their happy hour menu was good but I think personally just liked what Intermezzos was better.

Truly Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Red Thread…read more Our dinner at Red Thread was nothing short of spectacular -- a five-star experience from the moment we stepped through the door until the final sip of our after-dinner drink. We visited to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the team not only met but exceeded every expectation, weaving subtle, thoughtful surprises into the evening that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere is opulent yet completely approachable -- warm, intimate, and alive with cultural richness. You can feel the intention behind every detail: the plush banquettes adorned with intricately embroidered throw pillows, the soft glow of lantern-style lighting, and the perfectly placed gold-tipped cocktail picks that make even the smallest moment feel curated. It's elegant without pretense, like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret along the Silk Road. Service was led by Katie and Elijah, who were nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth, precision, and deep knowledge of both the menu and the restaurant's rich aesthetic elevated the entire evening. They guided us with confidence, shared stories behind the dishes, and ensured every need was met before we even voiced it. Now, the food -- where do we begin? Red Thread delivers flavors that are bold, layered, and deeply authentic. We started with the spread and small bites platter, and it was immediately clear we were in for something extraordinary. The tabbouleh was bright and herb-forward, with finely chopped parsley, tomato, and bulgur kissed by lemon -- a perfect balance of freshness and zing. The falafel were golden-crisp on the outside, tender within, and served with a bright mint yogurt. So delish! For our mains: the salmon, seasoned with fragrant za'atar and resting atop creamy spanakorizo (spinach and rice), was cooked to buttery perfection. The addition of crumbled feta and a cooling lemon yogurt sauce brought a bright, tangy contrast that elevated every bite. The pork chop, served with tri-color potatoes and glazed in a rich port beurre rouge with rosemary and a whisper of parmesan, was magnificent -- juicy, deeply savory, and beautifully seared. And the beef short rib? Unbelievably tender, with a warm curry base, sweet-spicy melon kimchi, and saffron rice that perfumed the air. The cardamom chèvre melted into the mix, adding a creamy, floral depth that was nothing short of inspired. Every dish told a story -- of distant lands, ancient trade routes, and a chef who clearly treats spice like sacred heirloom. To know these flavors are crafted with spices imported directly from the regions that inspired them explains the unmatched authenticity in every bite. Red Thread stands alone in St. Petersburg -- not just in flavor, but in feeling. We'll be back -- no question -- to explore their brunch and dive deeper into this beautiful narrative they've created on a plate. To everyone reading: This is the kind of restaurant that deserves to be discovered, celebrated, and filled to capacity every single night. Go. Taste. Feel. Red Thread isn't just dinner -- it's a journey. And it's not to be missed.

She poked her head inside, she nodded back and the decision was made to visit COPA without a word. It was bustling on the inside with market goers passing through, but it was controlled chaos on the other side of the counter. The workers knew exactly what they were doing and even in busy time of the market they were quick to buss tables, get ordered items to customers fast and the bathroom was pristinely clean. The bumping A/C provided instant relief as we claimed the stools by the bar. My friends and I quickly agreed, this place is an absolute gem. So gorgeously decorated and the drinks, the mocktails, the pastry items, the food were beautiful and delicious. It really appeared they did everything well here. Service was impeccable and the side salad I ordered was so crisp and refreshing. Honestly 5 stars all around. The food, service, atmosphere and drinks were sensational and exceeded all expectations.

The restaurant is located in the ground floor of the Tru by Hilton Hotel. Parking wasn't an issue during our visit because it was an early Thursday evening, so street parking on Central was available, but I can imagine it being a little challenging on busier nights. Loved the quirky, kind of all-over-the-place decor here. Vintage fixtures and mismatched furnishings all come together to deliver a warm, charming space that feels like anything-but a hotel restaurant bar. Lots of love for the cocktails here, too. We tried the Golden Hour, the Metal Plane, and the Strawberry Paloma. Golden Hour was my favorite, though the flavor wasn't quite consistent between my first and second ones. Also, they make a VERY good Espresso Martini for anyone who enjoys those. For food, we tried the Beef Empanadas, the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the 1650 Burger. All were tasty, but I think the burger turned out to be the best bang for the buck -- it's a huge portion for only $13 and it's delicious! The chicken sandwich was tasty, but the Gochujang sauce was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. Lots to like about the empanadas, too -- the beef is deliciously seasoned and the outer pastry is light and crusty. Great appetizer or meal, depending on how hungry you happen to be. To top it all off, we had very friendly service from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!
