delicious food! ambience amazing! servers were so sweet. drinks AMAZING. had the time of my life

such a nice vibey place, great for date nights & gnos. the drinks were great and they had a great selection of cocktails & mocktails. Small limited menu but everything we got was delicious. I think next time I would skip the dessert, it was a little denser than I wouldve liked a tres leches to be. Our server was always phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable on all the drinks & menu options!

Saw someone posted about this place on TikTok and I'm glad I found it right before my trip to St. Petersburg. In Between Days is such a vibe. It is a nice chic and cozy Japanese cocktail bar. They specialize on sake. I was really impressed with the mixology. If you are new to sake, they can give you excellent suggestions or let you try out some samples. I also enjoyed the record spinning session that they had. It definitely added the Tokyo flare to the ambience. I like that they had a decent list of NA beverages to choose from. Highly recommend the mock mule.

This place is throwing down a vibe and I'm picking it up! Hubby surprised me with a date night and it was amazing. What to expect: This great little gem is located in a hipster neighborhood in a former home. There is off street parking and outdoor seating. When you step inside you feel like you are walking into your best friend's house where you instantly feel cozy and welcomed. There are about 6-7 tables and a beautiful bar so make sure you make reservations. The atmosphere is so romantic and intimate with records (yes like the actual vinyl ones) playing and very soft lighting. It's a small shareable menu with pork belly, Brussels sprouts, oysters and it was all delicious and beautifully presented. They have an amazing Sake menu and their cocktails all have sake infused. Loved The Lady in Red - spicy just the way I like it. Definitely going back to the gem-the vibe the service and the food make this a must do in St. Petersburg!

Kyoto Blossom

I love love love In Between Days. The workers are so friendly and the drinks are delicious. Seriously, try anything the bartender recommends because you can't go wrong. We tried the Kyoto Blossom and the Mule, both delicious. The best sip of the day was the shots for two, chai infused sake with green tea infused sake and a proprietary blend from the bartender. Yum yum yum. For food, we had the gyoza and the special (tuna poke). No complaints about a single sip or bite. The vibes are always on point, if you sit at the bar you can see the records their playing right in front of you.

Brûléed Pork Belly

Parking was miserable, especially in the pouring rain. I practically had to swim to the entrance and dodge a sketchy encounter with a sidewalk philosopher on the way in. But once I make it inside, dripping wet and rethinking my life choices, I entered the tiny, dimly lit room that feels like a cross between a Tokyo vinyl bar and a really cool basement your friend swears is "where the magic happens." Seven cozy little tables, a high-top bar, a few stools, and a whole vibe powered by vintage Klipsch Cornwalls. The music was chef's kiss. DJ spinning something obscure and cool enough to make me pretend I knew what it was. I ordered an Asahi Rice Lager (because when in Rome...) and dove into the Salmon Ochazuke and Brûléed Pork Belly. The Filipino Crack Sauce--sautéed in ginger beer--was absolutely killer. I could drink that stuff. One quirky detail: they serve everything with reusable wooden chopsticks. Not a fork in sight. And honestly, the place is just pretentious enough to make you feel like you'd be banished for asking for one. But hey, it worked. I adapted. Overall, a moody little gem for foodies, audiophiles, and people who know how to use chopsticks. Just Uber if it's raining.

Amazing! The vibe the food the staff. Such a great experience. We were lucky to walk in and sat at the bar. It was great... we got to chat with Sky and he provided some awesome info about sake, the process, tasting notes, varieties. The food is delicious! Small menu with great items that rotate often. The pork belly is a must, the salmon is delicious. All are drinks were fantastic. The selection of vinyl is odd but cool. Overall super experience. Highly recommend.

One of the absolute coolest places I've ever eaten! This place is such a unique experience. They have sake sommeliers. The staff are so knowledgeable about their offerings. The drinks are amazing!!! Get the Osaka cocktail if available. Wowowowowow!!! Best drink I've ever had. I ordered the daily special for food. It was so fresh. Their menu is ever changing which keeps the experience new and exciting! The whole restaurant is dark with moody lighting. There is vibey music playing. Very cool atmosphere

This was a trendy stop in St Pete during our trip out there. Kind of a unique spot too, service was friendly and making a reservation is easy. Dishes are really expensive and take a while to come out. We made a reservation for 5 pm and ended up leaving close to 7. Food is 'tapas style' so wouldn't recommend coming in for a full meal, and quite small for how expensive they were. We ended up ordering 5 or so dishes and leaving hungry despite the cost - highly rec the gyoza and the chef noodle. Want to echo another reviewer who said they have light pours. Mom and I ordered cocktails and couldn't taste any of the sake or alcohol in them. There is one beer on the menu, along with some mocktails and different cocktails with sake in them. The music was nice and not obnoxious or difficult to listen to. The temperature inside was comfortable too. Parking is street parking! Make a reservation ahead of time if you can, walk ins are limited. Overall, maybe a one time visit - not sure if we'd venture back here due to how costly the evening was, but it was fun for a random stop on our trip.

Such a vibey little hidden gem in St Pete. The whole menu is sake based and has a lot of unique flavor combinations with beautiful cocktail presentation. They have a curated limited menu where I got to the try the salad and the short rib dumplings both which were presented beautifully and had great flavor. I definitely would say go after dark as there red disco lighting which is a vibe versus daytime. The staff were very friendly and attentive and this place is casual enough while still feeling vibey.

Tokyo tucked away in the heart of St Pete! For a starter we opted for the Oysters which were from New Brunswick Canada this week. They were delicious and well shucked. Followed by a Bruleed Pork Belly shaped by a delicious creamy sauce. Perfectly cooked and very delicious. The amberjack was amazing as well and they provided two cuts (belly and loin) incredibly fresh and buttery accompanied by various garnishes. The sake flight complimented the meal extremely well. The sommelier Noah was very knowledgeable about the Sake he chose for us. Only 4 stars because it was a bit loud in there when we went. Will definitely be back for more!

CANNOT. RECOMMEND. THIS. ESTABLISHMENT. ENOUGH. In Between Days is an absolute gem. A beautiful sake bar with a ton of selection, great cocktails and even better food. Noah absolutely crushes it as a bartender & host and the kitchen team is doing innovative plates that are absolutely amazing. Definitely check this place out if you're ever in St. Pete's. You'll thank me later.

Lychee sangria & cucumber mule
Robert V.

In Between Days is one of my favorite spots in all of the Tampa/St. Pete area. Such a cool concept to have a Tokyo-style listening bar, but with not only good drinks but amazing food too! My girlfriend and I started with drinks, and got the Lychee Sangria and the Cucumber Mule. The wasabi salt on the rim of the mule was so creative and fun, with the wasabi flaring up in your mouth and then the drink cooling it off. For food, all of their menu items are shareables. The cucumber salad was a nice start, but the pork belly was absolutely the best dish I've had in months. It melted in your mouth and was so indulgent it felt like dessert. The short rib and carrot gyoza was also good with a nice parsnip purée to lighten it up. As you eat and drink, you can sit back and enjoy the jazzy beats of whatever records were chosen to play that night. The servers are friendly and attentive. I love the decoration and little details inside the building too! Overall, this is just such a well crafted and well run establishment that kinda flies under the radar since it's so small, and I hope it gets the credit it deserves!

There's such a diverse variety of wines (more than two dozen), you could get lost in all of the good options. Something for all palates. I tried the small Sonoma board (which was discounted for happy hour) and it was a good-sized, cheese-focused board with solid combinations. the meat and cheeses come with cornichons, olives, and crackers. the caramelized balsamic onion jam was incredible with the sweet blueberry goat cheese and the spicy salami. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they got AC and immediately asked my family to visit. We have gone several times since then and we LOVE it. We do make reservations, but there have been open tables for walk-ins each time we have gone. Service is top-notch. We have had the same server each time and he banters well with my family- which makes the experience even better. Now, for the food. I recommend going for happy hour, but we do not always eat that early. Happy hour has great deals on appetizers and drinks. I love their grouper cheek sliders and fish dip. The hot sauce on the table is a datil pepper sauce and so very good. My favorite entrees are the blackened grouper sandwich and the baja-style fish tacos. I really cant wait to try the burger, but I love the other items so much I have a hard time not ordering those each time I go. My husband enjoys oysters and does not trust them at many restaurants. He is willing to pay more for quality, fresh oysters. Cheeky's is the place to go for oysters. He ordered the "best" variety for raw and fell in love with them. He also really likes the lightly breaded and fried oysters. They are not greasy and perfectly cooked every time. Drinks are fantastic. I got a special on Kentucky Derby day, a mint julep and it was so tasty. I usually enjoy their mixed drinks and my husband mixes it up between beer and mixed drinks. Recommend all of them. Intrigued by the Salt & Vinegar martini, but have not tried it yet. The restaurant is usually loud, casual, and lively. I feel completely comfortable bringing my grandkids and not worrying about how loud they are. We love the 'old florida' feel and recommend trying this place. We are already regulars.

It was a super inclusive menu overall. the fish tacos were substantial -- the fish was massive and so flavorful. A thick crispy shell of batter and moist, shiny and well-cooked fish on the inside. The fish was layered on top of a shredded lettuce/slaw/carrot mixture and a zesty, tangy sauce. loved this!! 8/10 I loved the texture, shape, length and crispy of the fries but sadly, my fries were super salty and it made them hard to eat. That might just be a one-off, don't let this deter you, the tacos were a standout. My friend tried the salmon dish and forced me to taste it. It was so unfortunate but the salmon was dry and lacked flavor. The only flavor I could taste was charred lemon and not in a balanced way, but in a sour way. Hush puppies were ok, nothing to write home about. Our waiter was cool! I hate having to ask for water :( but they were doing their best!!! The restaurant itself has a rustic maritime vibe, lots of wood and hanging fish and plank tables. I dig the vibe here! Casual, cute. I will be going back for happy hour and I'll update this when I do!
