Poked my head in here when the rain came on Friday afternoon as I wandered around John's Pass. After I fancy and filling breakfast I was seeking a simple easy late lunch and ended up getting 2 slices and a soda. I liked that each slice could be personalized with toppings and that it was reasonably priced. The staff seemed happy to be at work and even witnessed one provide complementary side of sauce to who I am assuming was a regular customer, they called her by name which makes me think this place does a good business and community connections are important! It was a simple classic casual vibe that I really enjoyed!

DeLosa's Pizza has been around since 1983, so you know they are doing something right!! Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the beachfront area!! Located in John's Pass, Madeira Beach. Friendly and efficient service as always!! Boardwalk atmosphere which adds to the experience!! Also has outdoor sidewalk seating so you can enjoy the Florida sun while dining together!!

A local in my group of friends recommended this place, so a group of 8 of us went for dinner on a Thursday. We got there around 7, and there was a staff member walking around the restaurant doing table management and chatting with customers. He was thankfully able to accommodate our group and hold 2 tables. You have to order first in order to claim a table though. Everyone tried different things from the garlic knots, salads, chicken parm to a variety of pizza flavors (veggie, meat crumbles, pepperoni). I appreciated that there was an array of additional spices (oregano, red pepper, parmesan, etc) at each table for us to customize our food to our taste. I got the 16" veggie ($25) and a half dozen garlic knots ($5). Unfortunately it's unclear whether the crust or bread is vegan, but I left the parmesan and cheese off. Still tasted great, and I had the leftovers for lunch the next day. If you are someone who eats the crust, I recommend dipping it in the garlic oil from the garlic knots! Most people took to-go boxes, but we also had room to get ice cream afterwards. Service was overall decent. The guy walking around made a lot of jokes with customers, but maybe because I got there 10 minutes earlier than the rest of my group, he also made some comments that made me feel pressured and called out. Things like: are your friends even coming? And we won't be able to hold a table for you if they don't show up soon. Most of the servers were friendly though and made sure everyone got what they ordered and even kindly took a group picture for us. The lady taking orders at the counter was very efficient but made judgmental comments about my order. There are lots of shops conveniently nearby and a boardwalk to stroll around too. Parking was a hassle but apparently cheap (about $3/person if you carpool). I biked and found a bike rack at the boardwalk just a stone's throw away. There's a bathroom inside that was clean. Also a separate bar area that we didn't check out this time, but they had a selection of teas, beer, and sodas at the counter.

Side view. The ohoto of the front didnt come out well.

Great spot in John's Pass! They have a cute bar top on the side with about twelve seats and a full liquor bar. Very friendly bartender and a few regulars to chat with. They have full restaurant seating and a few outside tables, too. They offer pizza by the slice with any toppings you would like. Full menu selection. I can't wait to go back and try their buffalo chicken salad. Good prices and a neat spot. It deserves 5 stars for staff, price and quality. I just would recommend they heat the individual slices alittle longer to make them hotter is all and to cook peppers.

Loved the cheese and pepperoni pizza by the slice crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings. The garlic knots were soft and flavorful, a perfect side. The service was great, and the casual, lively ambiance made the experience even more enjoyable!

Food, service, ambiance! My boyfriend and I come here at least once a week, if we're lucky to!! The staff is always super friendly to us and cooks the pizza to my boyfriend's preference without even him having to ask. The Italian is my go-to and always delicious!

Okay so I'm a New Yorker as in late 1970's early 1980's so I'm a NY pizza aficionado aka pizzalover!! DeLosa's is VERY GOOD ... my husband wished his was cooked a bit more -- the dough was not cooked enough. They have ice cold beer which goes great with pizza! But I love this place, a tried and true great pizza place who supports local little league etc ... The BEST PIZZA I've had -- outside of NYC -- is located in (of all places) Waynesville, NC - crazy huh?! Mad Anthony's aka Dough Boys ... however, when in Madeira Beach - DELOSAS IS MY FAV PLACE!

We have been coming here since I was a kid and I'm 43. Great pizza by the slice. Great staff. I love this place.

Amazing food and awesome service. John is absolutely awesome at the bar. We need to coordinate storm to go and there was absolutely nothing wrong with our service even though they're absolutely slammed.

Great pizza! We picked up. Still hot when we opened the box. Knots were good but not as Epic as the website led us to believe.

PARENT'S WEEKEND ADVENTURE!!!…read more Let me start with we have had the pizza and calzones from this place with the kids and the food was Awesome!!! Check out my 1st review for details!!! This time we got to sit down and have a truly enjoyable Adult Italian Dinner!!! The Ambiance/Decor is old world Italian style and very comfortable. It takes you somewhere that makes you feel like the beach isn't less than a mile away. We love it!!! Oh my word the Food was so flavorful and worth every penny!!! Food to Value ration: WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Yes I said it twice, lol!!! We ordered a reserve Chianti and Wifey LOVED IT!!! As an app, we got the Eggplant Rollatini and it did not disappoint. It was ooey gooey Great!!! We both upgraded to the Caesar Salad and I'm not sure how the house salad would have been, but the 2$ up charge was well worth it. Tasted way better than most Cesar salads at other establishments. We ordered our entrees from the Chef's Specialty menu. Wifey got the short rib ravioli. Portion size was good and taste was so fresh they tasted like they were made fresh when ordered!!! I got the Salmon dish and holy succulent Salmon. Cooked to perfection!!! The brandy risotto w/asparagus was a nice complement to the Salmon. We were so full we didn't even have desert, but we cannot wait to try the house made tiramisu next time!!! If you get the chance to try this place. Do yourselves a favor and stop in. We will always make this place a stop on our visits to the area!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

And if I order fries at a restaurant, unless I'm getting a happy meal, I don't wanna have to tear open little ketchup packets. This place really is just a diner disguised as an Italian restaurant. When the waitress asked how's my "sammidge" that kind of said it all.

Fun place right across from the beach that serves some great pizza…read more We're big Detroit style pizza fans and there's not a ton of places in this area that serve that style. Bam! These guys have you covered. We ordered the Detroit style with artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, jalapeños and red peppers. Amazing, and no we couldn't finish it. They also have a good selection of beer & wine and the patio offers a good view of the sunset on Madeira beach. My husband spotted the Detroit pizza sign so that grabbed our attention. So we were in btw this place and Slyce. We love Chicago pizza and Detroit pizza and that's why those were the options for us. Chicago Jacx appears to be closed. Slyce only has one option of Chicago deep dish pizza and Frabotta's Detroit pizza is their signature so we came here for the first time. Everyone was very nice. My husband thought the outside lit up section was theirs, but it was the bar next door that doesn't have service for their pizza. We sat outside on the side of their restaurant and it was a nice area to sit. They are dog friendly inside and out. We ordered the 8 slice Detroit pizza. They also have round pizza. Detroit style is square or rectangular. This is great so we can have leftovers. Ham and pineapple pizza was our choice and after 25 min, we had our food. Happy to say it did not disappoint and you can taste the cheese on the top as well as in the middle of the pizza. Our fave Detroit pizza is Nona Slice in Safety Harbor. This is a very close 2nd. Happy to have good pizza on this side of town. We were excited about leftovers and they were even better so clearly we are a new fan.
