Super yummy pizza... light and delicious, right off the beach! We enjoyed dinner at Coastal Pizza Kitchen, with knotty bread and homemade sauce for an appetizer. The knotty bread was overcooked, but the sauce was yummy. They were out of almost all of their draft beer, with no backups, which was very disappointing. The service was pretty slow, especially for drinks, which were just cans of soda. We got our draft beer before the test of our crew got their cans of Diet Coke. We've driven by countless times, tonight was the slowest I've seen it...warm and inviting with pretty lights and it smells delicious when you walk in the door. We tried the On Island Time pasta, with spicy sauce and super yummy. We enjoyed the Margarita pizza, the Coastal pie was the overall favorite...and you can never go wrong with a sausage pizza! The crust is crunchy, chewy, flavorful and their toppings are top notch. The girls split a cheese pizza and the Rossa pasta because we couldn't figure out which they would prefer more. The two kids ate almost an entire 12" pizza by themselves. The cheese pulls were INCREDIBLE. It was fun Friday pizza night on the relaxing patio at Coastal Pizza Kitchen. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and brought us a sample of their homemade Sangria, yum! We split the Parma Salad and the Whole Damn Thing Pizza. The salad was fresh and plentiful and the pizza was delicious. The only reason this place did not get a 5th star was that there was way too much BBQ sauce on the pizza. A slight drizzle would have been perfect. One of many visits back to Coastal Beach Pizza, but first since Helene. Went a different direction this time, we love their pizza, but we had not tried the pasta yet. Our mistake. I had the Fettuccini Carbonara, the bacon was amazing the just right for this dish. Very nice presentation. Wonderful rich flavor. My wife had the Lasagna, new to the menu we were told. On a staycation trip to North Redington Beach, we walked over here for dinner after looking this place up on yelp, we were convinced and didn't want to have to drive. We decided to wait for our order at the bar and order drinks there which was a good cozy experience. Once we picked up our order and got back to our destination, we were happy to see that the quality was the same as what we saw by others on yelp. We had one pizza split into two types: "the whole damn thing" and "coastal pie" pizza. It was all delicious! The knotty bread with marinara sauce on the side was awesome. Very good food with a very nice atmosphere. Went for the first time about a year ago and dined in and it was great, got their sandwiches and it was amazing. The staff was awesome and very attentive. Fast forward to this year, I order the large Pesto Portabello pizza Togo and was told to come back in 45 mins, which was perfect because it gave me enough time to run errands. When I arrived to pay and pick up, I stood around for another 15 minutes trying to get someone to help me. By the time someone had made eye contact with me I was visibly frustrated and I wanted to pay and just leave. I get it when things are busy, things get stressful, but I've worked retail before, and the easiest thing to do is acknowledge someone's presence and let them know you'll be with them soon. The design of this place is cute and the sitting area is fantastic. It happened to be a really beautiful day out and people were out. They seemed to be a little short staffed and that's okay. It's been a weird year or so. Can predict things right now. We finally ordered and got a large pizza and cauliflower for myself and a Caesar salad. The pepperoni with half black olives was good. Lacked a bit of flavor for the price and I didn't know there would be chunks of onions and tomato in the red sauce. Our son was like negative. So I had to go through it all and remove it. A huge thank goodness for Yelp because navigating the menu on their website was ROUGH. I am so easily deterred by janky websites (I feel like I am not alone in this) and quickly gave up. I was able to view the menu using Yelp and just decided to call my order in. We tried their large Margarita Pizza for $17 and their SMALL Coastal Pizza, also for $17....brutal. The Coastal Pizza is pretty unique and from what I can best guess is kind of their ~signature~ the pizza is topped with a cream sauce, sweet corn, roasted peppers, and shrimp. It tastes just like shrimp Alfredo. This is probably the idea. The pizzas were...good. The crust was super mediocre. I love crust. Crust MAKES pizza. Give me a good crust and I will give you my heart, love, and all my money. I also find the price point to be a little yikes. Between the just okayishness of the pizza overall, the cringe worthy ordering experience, and that price point, I don't see myself ordering from here again.
