My favorite pizza in Tampa Bay. Best location for me was Indian Rocks Beach (for sentimental reasons), but it permanently closed after Hurricane Helene. Thankfully Madeira has it covered. Not only have they mastered the art of perfectly cooked gluten-free crust, the pies are wealthy in fresh, flavorful toppings. I'm super picky when it comes to pizza. I've never ordered my own creation because Slyce offers so many craveable specialty pies. In my top three: Truffle Shuffle (for the mushroom lover in me), French Dip (comes with a savory au jus for dipping), and the Beach Bird (bbq chicken w/caramelized onions). Runners up: Roasted Veggie, Pear-a-dice (w/chicken) and Margherita. This location has a big patio on the gulf, full bar, sports on TVs, ample parking in a private lot, and the staff always provides amazing service. If they were in Tampa, I'd have a dangerous pizza addiction. read more

Stopped in Slyce Madeira Beach location last night for dinner and as always was a great experience!! We were seated upon arrival which was very nice!! Our server, Isabela, was very attentive, friendly and helpful with menu suggestions as well!! Pizza was excellent, full of flavor and brought out hot!! We sat inside which also is a great atmosphere for dining. They also have covered outdoor seating which is also a good option!! I placed an online pickup order for a large pepperoni pizza, wings, and an individual pizza. My total at checkout was $48.15, and I completed the purchase based on the prices listed online. About five minutes later, I received an email saying the restaurant had added an additional $6.42 charge to my order, with no explanation. When I called, I was told the pizza had been listed online at the wrong price, so they charged me the difference after I had already paid. I explained that I ordered based on the advertised price and asked if they could simply remove the incorrectly priced item instead. The employee immediately responded with an attitude and asked, "Which item am I taking off?" I said the one that had been priced incorrectly. At that point, I decided I'd rather cancel the order altogether because I wasn't comfortable being charged more after checkout due to an error on the restaurant's website. The response I received was, "Actually, it's not sketchy at all. You pay the price it costs." Mistakes happen, but charging customers more after they've already placed and paid for an order--and then responding dismissively when they question it--isn't good customer service. Being from NYC which has some of the world Best pizzas. while staying at a nearby hotel we decided to give it a try. The Ambience felt like a sports bar kinda atmosphere. The service was delightful. You have the option for inside out outside seating. We ordered a 2nd round of beers and told waiter make sure they're cold this time. They have this split pie tray apparatus looks kinda kool ,where they display the half pie from top to bottom. We went with the Margarita & sausage half pies.I had to have him take it back as my pie was warm. but when it came back it was nice and toasty and delicious.The establishment is nice if your in the area and want pizza and a vibe. read more

Nestled on the ICW's East Bank and next to Publix the facility has ample parking, great food and a friendly staff. Their unique Pizza offerings make trying new & delicious pies a delicious experience! While we were sad to see the Indian Rocks Beach Slyce location close after hurricane Helene, we're greatful we still have the Madeira Beach location to enjoy. We're fans of their house salad and love how we can get half & half pizzas when it is just the two of us. The Madeira beach location is great as it offers both indoor and outdoor seating with great views of the inter-coastal. Today was my first time to visit Slyce pizza. I had no idea what I have been missing! This place has a great vibe! With indoor and outdoor seating, both areas have a bar. We were a party of eleven. Jeremiah was our server. He did a fantastic job! He was highly attentive with a sincere demeanor but not overkill! He made us feel like we were the only ones in there. We ordered four different pizzas. Cheese, Here's Johnny, pepperoni and truffle shuffle. Everyone loved the pizza! I had the truffle shuffle and plan to make this one of my go to pizzas! There were two wedge salads ordered that looked amazing! It has a peppercorn ranch dressing with Gorgonzola instead of the usual blue cheese. It didn't last long on the table with much talk of how good it was. We also had three orders of garlic knots. When you live in this area they are a common item at most local pizza joints. You would be hard pressed to have bad garlic knots but generally they're pretty much the same at most places. Not these! The dough itself is soft, has flavor and not dry! The outside is crunchy with lots of yummy fresh garlic and butter! Be sure to order them when you go! The menu is unique. It was fun trying something new. Wow! Best pizza I've had outside of my favorites back home! The Cuban pizza was the perfect mix of flavors, and the crust was a rich buttery flavor. Slyce is always so delicious. I've been here many times and the food always hits, the atmosphere is so quintessentially Madeira FL, and the service is awesome. Off-menu tip: You can order any pizza as a slice, even the specials. They have some great standards and inventive options (like a French Dip or a Cuban sandwich pizza!). I love the basic cheese and pepperoni options because the oven-fired crust is just so good you don't need much, but any toppings are fresh and I often try something different along with my favorites. And their salads are good, too! Slyce is definitely one of my favorite places to eat, drink, and hang out in this area. I always bring guests too. Visited with a group of friends last week. Had really delicious apps! Their Wagon Wheel of Brie was outstanding; good quality cheese. Artichoke spinach dip was also very good. Sat indoors because of the heat, but love having the option of al fresco dining. Friends ordered various desserts, all looked luscious. The lunch special with a salad and a slice (or Slyce) was a good deal, and I also enjoyed a crisp selzer with my meal. It was breezy and cool on the deck, and the restaurant was in a nice location overlooking the water and bridge view. Some of my favorite pizza and the absolute best house salad! I always make it a point to come here when I'm in town. The pizza is so fresh, and the crust is homemade and delicious. They have some interesting specialty pizzas, including one with hot sausage and jalapeños. If you ask, they have this delicious garlic oil you can dip your crust in that just takes it even one more step above. Like I mentioned before, the house salad is the best house salad ever. It comes with candied nuts, apples, pears, craisins, Gorgonzola cheese, and a homemade house vinaigrette. Plus the greens are mixed and not just plain old tasteless iceberg lettuce. I can make a meal out of the large size house salad with chicken and feel full but not heavy walking out. Service is great and the food comes out hot and usually pretty fast. read more

Ok... I'd give a 5 for the pizza, and that's coming from a NY guy!!! However the service knocks this place down to a 3, and that's me being nice. Where do I start... we were told 15 minutes wait and a half hour later we're walking back up going how much longer will it be... they looked at each other and say didn't you get a text, and we said no... so we finally got seated. It took forever for our drinks to come out. Then we were a party of 4 and 3 meals came out... mine did not. 20 minutes later my pizza came out, no apologies nothing but here you go. I'll say it again the pizza was good. I ate half and was ready to go... we had to ask for the bill... the waitress never came back even though we asked for another drink. She brought the drink with the check. Now I had half a pie left and she doesn't even ask if I want a to go box. She drops the bill down and walks away..
