Hi I'd like to say that I would recommend this business very highly for you people in the neighborhood that have loved the old neighbor which I loved too before I started traveling two years ago and now I come back and there's new owners and I have to say I'm not gonna lie thank you because good their sandwiches are good everything is I have had is good I can't complain I keep telling more and more people about it because it's just that good. I actually got upset today because I tried to order chicken wings and they weren't open yet gosh dang it I just want to try back tomorrow but yes I would definitely go try to venture out and the pricing is very good and it doesn't break the pocket to have a great meal. Have to leave a great review for this restaurant because they earned it. Order French fries and delivery driver forgot them. No worries he refunded my money which was fair. We all make mistakes. Ten minutes later get a call from the owner apologizing for the driver missing the fries. He had the fries but in his insulated bag and he didn't notice them. Please understand that these people are very busy on a Friday night. When you forget something you get flustered. The driver was upset he forgot the fries and also said he was sorry. They came back and brought fresh fries for free. They worked hard to make it right and that's super important to all of us. read more

Stayed at an AjrBnB close by with friends for a beach weekend. Needs a quick place to pick up dinner as we drove in. I immediately opened up my Yelp app and typed in "pizza". At first, I picked this place because it was close by, but then I noticed that they had some pretty good reviews on Yelp as well. Picked up a cheese pizza, margherita pizza and some garlic knots. MAN! Was this good! I was especially impressed with the sauce. It wasn't too thick and had very nice light flavor with a hint of sweetness that didn't overpower the pizza as a whole. This is a great little "mom-n-pop pizza" place that should and will serve the surrounding neighborhood very well, but it's not ready for prime time. On this particular Friday night, I was joined with a group of about 12 people. I feel that we probably overwhelmed the small place, so I won't focus on the negative too much. The place is tucked away on the side of a little strip-mart, so you wouldn't even know it was there if you weren't looking for it. The owner, Tony, has done a great job updating the outside & inside to elevate the look to be more than your average pizza joint, so kudos for the effort. Inside, there is seating, perfect for families, and they even accommodated our large group without any issue. I will say that, at least at the time that we were there, the dinning area was uncomfortably hot, and it only got worse when the oven was on. I believe that much of my group's complaints would have been nonexistent or at least overlooked if it were not for the unbearable heat that we endured. The owner Tony is a wonderful host, and took time to greet and introduce himself to everyone that came in. His staff, on the other hand, were very young, very nice but still have not mastered the art of hospitality. I'm not sure if the staff were family or not, but I know that finding good help can be difficult, and I won't judge the establishment too much on staff alone. I'm sure that with a little experience, his servers and help will be wonderful one day. And again I will mention that we had a huge group, along with all their walk-in traffic and another family dinning in. THE FOOD Since we had so many people, we were able to order lots of different items from their robust menu. I had a HOT ITALIAN SUB, (I am always looking for the ultimate Italian sub) and I would say it was "O-kay". It needed some zesty peppers, parm, oregano or something to make it pop. It was not horrible, but relied too much on the meats to carry the flavor. The hoagie roll was very nice. My wife ordered the double-crust white pizza with spinach & tomato, and she also ordered the mozzarella caprese salad. The salad was interesting, but again lacked the flavor. It needed a tad more balsamic drizzle over the cheese and tomatoes. The pizza tasted as impressive as it looked, and the small size was hearty enough to feed a family. My wife combined the caprese salad with her pizza bites and created something truly special. Other guests in our party ordered Baked ZitI, Meatballs, Stromboli and a custom pepperoni roll which were all handled and served in a somewhat timely fashion considering our large party and their small staff. The overall consensus among the group was that the food was better than "okay". The true star of all the food that we ordered was the massive Sicilian pizza. It was delicious and big enough to serve a football team. SUMMARY If you live in the immediate area, I would suggest that you give Cafe Classico Express a try. Several people in my neighborhood have tried it and RAVE about the authenticity and deliciousness of everything they have ordered. Not amazing, but certainly a very good pizza place. I had a pepperoni pizza and fried ravioli. Fried ravioli was very good - perfectly breaded and lots of cheese inside. The pizza was typical NY style, with a little thinner crust overall. Had a few bubbles in the crust which I love, for some reason. Cheese and pepperoni were good quality, as well. Their alright. Service was great but food lacking. NY style slice was good. The calzone was really a lot of bread and not so much filling, and their wings are backed(I didn't see a disclaimer) while not bad I prefer mine fried hard, the sauces were good though. read more

Ate here for the first time because of an accident getting to interstate. Let's eat instead of wait on causeway! Are we glad we stopped! Walked in and it smelled wonderful! It took about 15 minutes to wait for my husbands fresh homemade pizza (loved watching the kid in the back making and tossing the crusts!) And my four season stromboli which was so yummy! And huge so I have half for lunch tomorrow! Next time we are down here, we will stop for sure. read more

What a find! My favorite pizza place went out of business and I was looking for a new place for good food. Yeah, this is it. I ordered a eggplant parmigana and I have to say- I have not ever had such good eggplant as this. I tried there speciality pizza crisp it was mozzarella and basil with light sauce. Very good. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! The first time we went to just go in and get a menu and the place smelled so good we ordered takeout. Meat Lasagna...Tiramisu...and fresh made Cannoli. OMG...SO GOOD!!!! We have since been back a couple more times for more AWESOME food. The Margherita Pizza-DELICIOUS!! The Italian Sandwiches on both fresh made sub roll & focaccia bread-DELICIOUS!! The side salads and fresh bread that comes with entrees are good too. So far...BEST PIZZA in town. Also, we just tried the Baked Gnocchi...did not disappoint...once again. We love trying new places and usually look to yelp for reviews prior to ordering. We were really excited to try this place due to the great reviews. I have to say I have no idea why the reviews are so great.... we ordered fried ravioli which were cheese filled and tasted great. The marinara sauce looked like salsa it was so thin. It did not even stick to the ravioli. It made it more oily. We also had an order of garlic knots. They were so hard I could not even break them apart to give to my dogs. The large garden salad was very basic, just lettuce and a couple tomato wedges and a couple black olives. I asked for Italian dressing thinking it's a family Italian restaurant so it must be homemade. Bad choice... it was more like a marinade than a dressing. The dressing was thick unlike the marinara sauce. It was definitely a pre made bottled dressing comparable to wishbone. We also ordered 2 small Stromboli's. They were mostly bread. They did not have much flavor at all. The portion size was large but the flavor was just not there. The homemade meatballs that we ordered for both of them did not have much flavor and there was not much to them. One of my Stromboli had meatballs, bacon, olives & onion. The other had meatballs, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms. Those are flavors that are usually pretty obvious in an Italian dish. Sadly this was not the case. Not even the bacon or pepperoni stood out in flavor. I am posting pictures so that you can see how bland and lacking of toppings these are. I am also posting a picture of my receipt to show exactly what we ordered. I'm not sure how the reviews are so great here. I found it very bland and oily. There are so many pizza places out there. Decent pizza. Very nice staff. None of the corporate bells and whistles. Small and quiet but extremely clean. If you're sick of Papa johns and dominos, give this place a try. I prefer giving my business to family owned local places anyway. The first time we ate there, we ordered a veggie which is described as having black olives. Our pizza contained no olives. So we asked for them and got a cup of cold olives probably from a just-opened can. Ok fine, not entirely a deal breaker. But that's a huge oversight, really no excuse. Edit: went there for pizza yesterday early evening. We jokingly asked to make sure olives were added. Asked for a side of pepperoncini Hot peppers. They do not have those. I guess my only gripe is, what kind of pizza joint doesn't have them? I thought they were a staple. I can understand if you're delivery/carry out only. But it's a dine-in restaurant too, so they should be made available. Also, I asked for a side of marinara, you know for dipping the crust. The guy brings out a cup of what is clearly nothing more than canned tomato sauce. Like, full of seeds, room temperature, watery, tangy/salty and definitely not cooked down. These careless oversights rank them down a few notches in my opinion. 3 stars from 5. I probably won't return. Too bad. read more

We ordered delivery and got 2 small pizzas, garlic knots and fried ravioli. Everything was really good actually but the only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because there was an excess amount of oil used. The sides of marinara we got had a thick layer of oil in top and between that and the actual food we ate we felt sick after. I only had 1 piece of pizza because it was so rich. Again, the food is great, delivery was super fast just wish they could use a lighter hand with the oil. read more

TERRIBLE Service... I placed an order about an hour before they closed. I got a call saying it was done. I was on my way when I got bad news and had to go to the hospital right away. I called them back a d told them I wouldn't be able to make it because of the news I just received. The guy told me that I had to come tomorrow to pick it up and pay for it. I told him the news I received and he still told me to come tomorrow to pick it up and pay for it. I told him I was not going to pick up at 24 hour old pizza... I work at a pizza place and thats no way to treat a customer. There's many orders in a day when someone can't make it and it gets thrown away. I was so disgusted by the way I was treated I will never go there again. And this was actually my first time trying it because a friend recommended it to me. Just awful! Haven't been inside and we didn't try the pizza, but ordered lasagna and chicken marsala and delivery. I have never reviewed a restaurant good or bad in my life before, but feel compelled to in this case. Came home from helping friends too late to cook too tired to go out. The food -both dishes- was totally tasteless & very very oily and the chicken marsala was actually grey. I didn't know it was possible to ruin Italian food. Got to say it again. This place has the BEST PIZZA bar none. I took another lady friend here for lunch - she is an Italian from Brooklyn and she wanted some good Italian food at a great price. Where else would I take her? It had to be here. My friend is 87 and a light eater but not today. Today she ate to her hearts content, two large pieces of the Marguerita pizza with the owner's home-made mozzarella cheese and the thinnest, crispest crust possible. She commented that she always left crust on the plate but not today. She ate all of it. We then had the small-size cannoli which is always filled just prior to serving - delicious! The expresso was as always, just like drinking in a Roman coffee bar. It took me back to Italy. I promise myself that I will try something else next time but it is hard not to order pizza again and again. For just $21, we had two glasses of decent wine (one of those small bottles you can't get most places), plenty of pizza (the small is really a medium and there was a piece left to take home), two cannolis and two coffees (one expresso). Top-notch food at a terrific price by an Italian chef who hand tosses the pizza the old-fashioned way. Everything is done with the utmost care - even the way the dishes are stored. read more

As I waited for my order (small Margherita and small Xtra cheese) I drank a beer and listened to the owner speak to Italian tourists in their native language which raised my expectations. I was not disappointed. Fresh, flavorful ingredients on a perfect crust, IMO. Crispy, not a cracker, on the outside and soft, not soggy, under the toppings. This isn't Jersey Shore, huge slices with orange grease; this is the real deal. Well done!
