The food is great! Love the grinders and the stromboli. The pizza is good. Nice place to sit inside with family or friends

Stopped in for lunch and seated ourselves. Restaurant has a combination of tables and booths. The menu is pretty extensive with appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza. And various entree dishes. Board posting listed soups available for the day and another board showed daily specials. We ordered the garlic/olive oil knots, corn chowder, shells with meatballs (comes with two garlic knots), and the Italian panini with fries. The chowder arrived quickly and had plenty of potatoes, corn, and bacon in a tasty broth which wasn't too heavy which was a nice touch. Seasoning was good and potatoes still had a good bite to them so they weren't mushy. Great choice. The garlic knots arrived in a basket on a tissue paper with a good amount of olive oil in the bottom. Parmesan cheese covered the top of the knots. They had nice crunchy tops with a very soft interior. There was enough oil so we could dip the knot into it to soak the oil into the knot. Very tasty item and would definitely order again. The pasta arrived with plenty of sauce and three good sized meatballs. The sauce was thick enough so that it stuck to the pasta and filled the shells nicely. The meatballs were seasoned very well and were a great accompaniment to the pasta. The panini was brushed w/Evo, and had Salami, Capicola, Ham, Banana Peppers, Roasted Red Peppers & Provolone w/ French Fries. The French fries were very well fried, large with the skins still on and had a great crunch on them. The panini was on what appeared to be ciabatta bread which was well grilled and nice and crunchy. There was plenty of meat, cheese and peppers and was very delicious. Not normally a panini guy but would definitely order this again. All in all lunch was excellent. Great little place in a great little town. Our server was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. There will be return trips to the restaurant. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant and easy access to and from the main road. read more

I have eaten here several times years ago and due to pandemic totally forgot about this little gem. I happened to drive by the other day and said I would have to stop in for a bite. As I recall they always had hot fresh homemade soups and I was in the mood for soup. I took my daughter for dinner and was greeted and seated immediately. We had the delicious garlic knots that are provided on the house. Hot and delicious seasoned perfectly. The waitress and service was fast and awesome. She was polite efficient and attentive. I had the chicken and rice soup which was just as I remembered amazing. I also had a chef's salad! Absolutely huge and fresh. The eggs tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce was crispy and fresh. They didn't skimp on the protein and cheese either. The picture is of the salad after I had already eaten half of it. We had potato skins which were homemade and not frozen. Cooked perfectly just the right amount of bacon and cheese Well done. I will be coming back again soon to try their other offerings!!! read more

I'm so disappointed! The food is usually good and I'd normally give a better rating however this visit I called the order in and they said 30 mins so I made sure to arrive after 25 mins to have the food hot and fresh. When I walked in you could tell that they were understaffed and the staff that was there didn't seem to care much which I didn't understand until the manager Dawn Marie started berating one of the workers in front of everyone. So loud that most of the people seated could hear her. No worker deserves to be treated the way she was acting. It is no surprise why no one wants to work there. It took an hour to get the food and most of it was already cool and hard. This place is much better on days she isn't there as I've had good hot fresh food from there before. read more

Ordered several items for pickup. Was infuriated when a 20% tip was added to the final bill. On top of that most of the items started out as frozen. If you don't mind paying additional for rather poor food that's your choice but your better off going next door especially for grinders read more

We showed up at Brooklyn Pizza around 6pm on a Friday night, which was the only problem. The place was overwhelmed, both the kitchen and wait staff were taxed by the number of eat in and take out customers. That said, the wait was definitely worth it. My pizza was served piping hot, with fresh toppings and a delicious sauce. The star of the show, though, was the crust; thin, feather light, crisp but not burnt and nicely flavored. My wife had, in her words, "an amazing panini"; also fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. I would recommend Brooklyn Pizza to even the most discerning pizza and Italian food lovers. Buon appetito! read more

Great spot for take out or dine in. The food is always above and beyond what a pizza place should be. It's a Great Restaurant with a neighborhood pizza place feel. The "chew" was chock full of corned beef and Pastrami...delicious. My lady friends panini was not only a good looking plate of food, she enjoyed it and inhaled it, it was gone in no time! read more

Update 2023: Chicken cacciatore dinner just over the top. The salad that came with it as usual was beautiful and as fresh as can be. Unbelievable. Cannoli was again the best I've ever had. Love my spinach salad, spectacular. We sat down at home and once again this delivery made our day. We can't get this quality of food even if we go out to eat! Thank you again folks! You definitely care about the food you serve! Continue to deliver the best food in the area. I can't say enough about the quality of food. Everything we had has been fresh from the salads to the cannolis (omg the best I've ever had) and your side salad and salads in general are the freshest we havehave had. Pizza/pasta dishes? For decades we have ordered in and out. Great job guys. Can't praise you enough. Thank you once again! Sincerely, The short side of Drain St. Folks! read more

It's been about a year and a half since my last visit. I was craving some pizza, but didn't want to go to my usual place, so I decided to give this another try. Either my standards have gone up, the quality has gone down, or I was generous with my first review, because I can't see myself giving the pizza I got three stars. Maybe they've changed the recipe? It wasn't necessarily BAD, but it wasn't anything special, either. The cheese, sauce, and pepperoni were all pretty mediocre, but it's the crust that really stands out. Not in a good way, either. I mentioned it in my previous review, but the crust is INCREDIBLY dry. I have no idea how they manage it with New York pizza (with pepperoni!), but each bite is like a mouthful of sawdust with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. tldr; The crust is incredibly dry, and the sauce and cheese aren't enough to save it. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

I order delivery or take out from here many, many times. they were always good and professional. I don't know if it's under new ownership but only one of my three orders were right. I called back simply explaining what was going on. and they were raising their voice at me. saying I was wrong. like I said we've been going there for years but after tonight and the way we were treated. No more business from us. read more

I recently moved to Brooklyn and wanted to find a new place to get pizza. This place happened to be the closest so it's was my first choice. It has turned out to be my only choice so far. I've gotten 6 or 7 pizzas since moving and every one has been quite delicious and made perfectly. Not a single miss yet. My recommendation is light cheese/extra sauce. The sauce is very tasty and I think a regular cheese is fine and dandy but light cheese/extra sauce? That'll have you coming back like me. I'll try other things too...eventually...maybe. read more

I was in town for business and decided to try pizza for dinner. I found this gem via a map search. I ordered at the restaurant and they told me about 25 min. First thought was "this is going to be fresh"! I got my pie in about 15 minutes and the smell coming through the box was everything!! The waitress even said it smelled good. I got to my hotel, took a bite, and WOW!! The crunch from the crispy crust topped with sauce with crushed tomatoes, the cheese, and flavors were DELICIOUS! I'm a pizza conocer originally from Jersey and this pizza was one of the best I've had in years. 10 stars in my book! read more

The food is consistwntly good, and the wait staff very friendly. This is one of our regular spots.

Great food, friendly people, quick service and the salads are the best!! The only downside is that the quality, accuracy and food presentation is very different depending on the night you order; like clockwork the food on Fridays is so much better than if we order on a Thursday or other weekday. Still good but it's a noticeable difference. read more

Amidst Covid-19 and the take-our/delivery all over the place, thought I'd try Brooklyn Pizza. Ordered myself a wrap with onion rings and wow! Onion rings were probably the best I've ever had. These people leave their phone off the hook when they get busy at night and don't offer any sort of online ordering. This is a horrible business practice. Despite how good the food is this is enough to make a 10+ year patron stop going here. Ordered a Cesar salad and when I got home, I opened it to find that it had red cabbage and some vinaigrette dressing on it instead of Cesar dressing. Lady on the phone was telling me that what I saw and tasted was wrong and that the owner himself made it. Maybe next time he shouldn't make anything since he doesn't know how to make a simple salad. All employees did not have a mask or gloves on and the lady in the front kept getting too close to me and even tried touching my shoulder. read more

Stopped in for the first time about a month ago - ordered a take-out pizza and waited. It was a specialty pizza - Chicken Bella. Sounded good on the menu and was prepared in a timely manner. A bit disappointing to look at when we opened the box - thin, very stingy on the amount of chicken, the artichoke hearts were stringy - and the taste, well, just blahh. Didn't taste bad, but just ehh! I guess it was just OK. I probably would not go again - I'd like to give a second chance, but every time I think to order a pizza, I just automatically go somewhere else. Too bad, though. read more

We stop in for dinner. there were 4 of us at the table. the waitress forgetting parts of our meals, lemons, soups. and side dishes. She was also the owner. There were people at the next table that had the same problem. read more

I only give this restaurant 3 stars because the food is actually quite tasty However with that being said some or one the girls who take orders has a bit of an attitude problem and needs to learn to be nicer to the customer because no matter what in the service industry the customer is right and you want them to leave happy. The only issue we've encountered is forgetting an item and I called to see what could be done and whoever was answering the phone gave us an attitude again even after having 3 people in the house say we heard you ask for onion rings.
