Fun place to get a sandwich. Food is delicious. Always had a pleasant experience each time.

I love this place, but today the woman making my sandwich answered the phone with her sandwich gloves on, placed the phone between her ear and shoulder, removed the phone, and then continued to make my sandwich with the same gloves. First time at the Brooklyn Pickle in my home town! Went with the fam and the 4 of us ate sandwiches, had 4 drinks, a bag of chips, and two desserts for $50 (with military discount). I got a half sandwich which was huge - but decently messy with the bread falling apart. BUT the ingredients all tasted great (I got turkey/roast beef, lettuce, tomato, and pickles) and it was super filling. The cheesecake was delicious! read more

Had a half Reuben and chicken soup - both were delicious! The selection of chips is overwhelming and bags are bigger than you would expect. Service was fast and everyone was super friendly! No pictures as I ate everything so quickly, sorry. I'll be back! read more

Hours on Google, their website and everywhere else is wrong. It said they closed at 8pm, however we got there at 6:59pm and they were closed. We drove 45 minutes to get my Father with cancer his favorite sandwich. Very disappointing. read more

First timer...started off with Turkey Sub. Generous turkey. Sub bread was just okay. Not crusty or crunchy on outside to add texture so was just 'bready'. Lettuce ordered on sandwich was missing and Kraut ordered (dont judge) was more like creamy slaw. Not bad but interesting...maybe NY thing. Definitely not German kraut. Cheesecake brownie was literally cheesecake and soft creamy fudge. Delicious and super rich. Ordered to go. Unfortunately, the steering wheel on my car has more "personality" than the dude that handed me my bag. Good help defines a business and good bread defines a sandwich shop. These weren't great but filled my belly so not an entire loss. read more

All the taste of Subway with the inconvenience of total chaos. Literally have no idea how people can suggest this place. The Food was...quite simply...terrible. First time trying Brooklyn Pickle and I was not impressed! The meat and toppings (I ordered the Brooklyn Pickle Special sub) were good, but the sub roll was terrible, it was stale and dry and ruined what could have been a good sandwich. I took two bites and had to eat the rest of my sandwich with a fork, skipping the roll. They say it's the bread/roll that makes a good sandwich, but here the terrible roll ruined it. Maybe I should tried a sandwich on rye bread, but can't recommend their subs, sorry. read more

This restaurant serves their food and drink on paper & plastic only. I hate to think about all that trash when real plates & cups & glasses would be reusable and so much more in tune with sustainable business practices. Being new in town, my wife and I are eager to try as many new restaurants as we can. We went around 1pm on a Monday and were the only customers. The place is big, but the booths were not very comfortable, so we sat at a table. My wife had a 1/2 turkey sandwich with cheese on whatever their house bread is. She said it was very good. I'm always on the lookout for a great Reuben. Unfortunately, this one was very disappointing. In their defense, most are. Being from north Jersey/NY I've had many true pastrami or corned beef sandwiches. It's all about the brine so, if you've never had a genuine one, you may not know the difference. The corned beef they used seemed straight out of a supermarket deli. It had no trace of what good, corned beef should be. They also used their house bread, and not rye, which is a no-no. Also, they represent Brooklyn in name only. You will not find a generic sandwich shop like this in Brooklyn. The search continues... read more

The title of this sandwich shop is a total misconception. The sandwiches are the furthest thing from a Brooklyn style hero and only came with 2 pickle chips. The service was horribly chaotic and extremely sloppy. Over-priced food. There were no packages when it came to food. Everything was sold separately. Sandwich- drink- and chips. First time and last. Save yourself some money and head to subway or mcalister's deli. read more

Pretty much the only thing that is "Brooklyn" is the name. Adequate amount of cold cuts on the sandwich , but the bread was soft and mushy.....even Subways rolls have more substance. The "pickle" part is pure deception.....they will give you three dill chips wrapped in the sandwich. I would have expected a selection of some sort. If you are expecting a NY style hero , you will be disappointed ......it's just another Subway , just more expensive . read more
