The staff is super friendly and helpful, the service is quick, and the food is high quality! I normally don't like dealing with the staff because they tend to be rude or unpleasant, but I was surprised by their cheerful and conversational attitude. We loved Jersey Mike's for years -- good service, great food, good value (not cheap) for the price, & a rewards program. BUT, they expanded way too fast in the last few years and since Covid began (3/2020), the quality and service have declined a lot. They hire real young employees who make a lot of mistakes. We ordered a carry out box of subs for a Journey Church of Sanford meeting after the Sunday service. I'm a Bubba's Subs fan so I don't often frequent Jersey Mike's. Glad we did. The attitude and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. Great conversation while they were making the sandwich (I ordered an extra) and really comfortable comradery among the staff. When I was checking out, a lady customer stepped up and said "move over" and swiped her discount card and high fived the cashier... Awesome! She was a customer, but I got the impression she was an employee, just not working today. Jersey Mike's is my absolute favorite place to get sub sandwiches! However, the employees here need some lessons in task management... my wife and I were asked several repeat questions regarding our order. This isn't a problem in most situations, but when the employees are carrying on conversations with each other rather than paying attention to the order... orders are made wrong, questions are repeated, things are dropped, and orders are checked out improperly. The employee making the sandwiches would continuously move onto another customer, questioning them about their order, before completing the first order. This lead to wrong ingredients being placed on the wrong subs, or in our case, bacon being left off of our club sandwiches. To their defense, the two ladies working the sandwich line received zero help from what appeared to be a manager waltzing about the store carelessly. read more

The food has always been good. Portion size is on the "thin" side. Prices are a bit too high imo but overall a damn good place to eat.

Employees are smoking in the outside eating area for customers. This is right as you walk into the store. You're forced to breathe it in. NC State Law doesn't allow smoking within 20ft of a business main entrance, which they were. Very uninviting. read more

Ask for your receipt!!!!!!! The price the woman told me and what showed up on my online statement is completely different. I was charged over 24$ for a regular hot sub with a fountain drink and chips. Their employees don't give a crap; sandwich was thrown together in a way where all ingredients were separated, guy who made it looked like he hated his life, the cashier was a robot, and the guy who brought it was rude. They have a grilled veggie wrap, and a tuna sandwich so that gives it a seal of approval. It can be difficult to find a sub place with a good veggie, moreso a hot veggie sandwich. If you like to listen to the women WORKING THE COUNTER talk trash about the customers as they leave and watch the sandwich dresser handle the cleaning cloth then your sandwich without changing her gloves you will love this place. The previous review is spot on with how many times you get to repeat your order even when you are the only person in line. The man making sandwiches said he would remake the sandwich but after the eye rolling from the women I declined the offer. The food is definitely better than Subway. What they claim is cappicolla is really just ham. The bread was really fresh. I saw earlier reviews about the staff. Didn't have a problem with them but one did tell me to order my toppings Mike's way or something next time. I already forgot. read more

YELP!!! WRONG ADDRESS! Jersey Mike's is in the "Dick's Sporting Goods" mall at the far end from "Dick's"on 15/501 North bound just North of intersection of 15/501 & Rt 1. Mike's Philly cheese steak was as good as Philadelphia's with plenty of steak. Mike's Italian sub had more meat then any other place in the area, BUT not as much as "Sub Shack" in Hackettstown, NJ which has 4 times as much meat. read more

Not sure about that 2 star review on July 13, 2012... I work next door and eat there more than most and love their subs. They do have a new owner since then and have made major improvements. They really do have fantastic subs and the commercials are right on the money: slicing the deli meat as you order it (vs coming from a factory pre-sliced) makes all the difference. Plus they bake their bread every morning (which drives me insane with hunger! NO FAIR! ) :) Keep up the good work! read more
