Lady here is super rude , food is expired everywhere bread hard I will never visit here again

Stopped in tonight and the lady who took my order was incredibly rude for no reason, she would talk over my boyfriend and I when we were trying to order, she was mumbling, and she slammed my drink cup down on the counter. There was only me my boyfriend and one other couple in here who had already ordered, so I am unsure of why she was so angry. Overall she made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. read more

At our recent visit to the Firehouse Sub restaurant in Aberdeen, NC, the manager worked on a non-functioning drink machine, wearing her food service gloves, then returned to the food line to make our sandwich without changing the dirty gloves. The brisket sandwich we received was mostly grissle and fat, so we asked if we could have a different sandwich and they refused to make another sandwich or refund our money. They just lost our business. The restaurant was not very clean, just a negative experience all round. Too bad. read more

My wife and I are fairly new customers to Firehouse Subs. Have mainly gone to the one in Aberdeen. Usually an older lady takes our order and had not experienced any problems until yesterday. A lady with a badge that said she was the general manager waited on us. After placing our order I requested to use some of the points we had accumulated toward our order. The lady said in order to use points I had to order thru the app. So I did that. Now I had never done that before but followed the instructions on the app. Then we told the order did not go thru. So I showed the lady the app on my phone which showed the order and the points being deducted from my account. Asked for her help and she said just order thru the app. Again I tried to show her where I had done that and she just said she wasn't a IT person and walked away and ignored us from that point on. Though her badge said general manager, I suspect she might have been an owner. Just a guess. In any case we received no help and left the restaurant unhappy. Contacted Firehouse Subs thru the app and my points have been restored. read more

I made an online order and it changed me twice. I couldn't get a refund so I opted to leave the receipt and get the second order in a few days. I called the store and I was left on hold for 20 minutes so I drove to the store walked right up the counter with no line and they told me she couldn't answer the phone because she was so busy. I was still on the call and shows it to her. I told them about my order and they said they'd make it. 15 minutes later when nobody is in the store she came from behind the back room and said she forgot and would make it now. I was changed twice and forgotten about twice. It took over an hour to get my food. This place makes the Firehouse brand look terrible. read more

Horrible. Sub was skimpy of fillings. A hot sub was delivered cold. It was a bland, over priced experience.

Love the food, but the two women working ran their mouths the whole time we were in there about a coworker. Not what you want to listen to while you are eating. read more

I gave it another try after saying I wouldn't. My personal opinion, DO NOT GO HERE! The staff are not attentive to the guests, they are slow and they worry more about talking about their personal lives and business. The owner is VERY unprofessional, rude and hateful. My opinion, once again, this place should be shut down! If I had 10 thumbs, they would get all 10 THUMBS DOWN! read more

Made an online order as usual except in a different town and as usual I asked for a sandwich and please leave the pickle off I do not like them or the juice that comes out of the bag onto my sandwich. When I called to complain and maybe get a refund, the manager answered the phone. She first said she doesn't remember the order and also let me know that was not a legitimate complaint. Then she hung up on me. I called back with order # from my receipt ( which was less than 15 minutes ago) she hung up on me again. No way to run a business and I will never use THAT firehouse subs again. read more

I did an online order it changed the location to Aberdeen. I was trying to order in another town. I called the store immediately. the guy that answered the phone. didn't know what to do so he called the manager, she told him she would take care of it the next day. and if i had questions to call her persona number. which I did (by the way the manager and owner are the same person) that's what she told me. this woman was the ruddiest and most hateful person I have ever talked to with customer service. her name is Apecka or something like that. they first told me i had to cancel the order but that was a lie you cant. she told me that she couldn't do anything about it. I told her I needed my money back. she said well you made the mistake I said yes I did, then she said there is nothing I can do for you and hung up on me. I called her back the next day. she said she refunded my money but I still don't have it. because I couldn't pull up my receipt at the time I was on the phone with her she said it was adding up to 35 and some change.. I told her it was 36.35 at which point I said what ever. I got home looked it up and texted her a copy of the receipt I was correct it was 36.35 she replied back well you refund is similar. I said it needs to be exact. I got on here and I have seen other reviews talking about the manager/owner and her attitude. Firehouse you need to do better!!!!! this woman is representing your name. and I plan to get the word out to all I can about how hateful she is. you don't treat people the way she does with no consequences. I had a sandwich a couple of days ago. I've eaten sandwiches my whole life so I did not look at the fine print, and turns out they automaticallyheat your sandwich meat. I ordered turkey and salami and cheese. For me personally hot salami sandwich is horrible. But I guess that's the way they do it ,that wouldn't of been so bad, except when I told the woman I didn't like it and could I just get a cold sandwich they simply refused.That's what doesn't make sense to me. I go to restaurants all that time. I've never had one that's so blatantly didn't care And refused to do anything to get me a sandwich or my money back. read more

Used to love this place but not anymore. Apparently it has changed ownership from the great folks who used to have it. Stopped in for sandwiches to go and should have checked them. Got home to find that all I received were 25 dollars worth of two subs that weren't worth half that. Fully involved subs had no lettuce, tomatoes, onion or Mayo. Bread was dry like it was day old and portion of meat and cheese was half of what it was previously. Fresh lemons/limes no longer available with sodas. Broke my heart since this was my standard for subs. I realize everyone is struggling with Covid but that doesn't mean the new owners should short change customers who are also struggling to support them. Only gave it 2 stars as it was clean and counter staff was trying hard in spite of the Indian couple who were very impatient with their staff. read more

The first time I went into this place it was a very unclean setting..and when we got to the counter the employees were very rude and playing around behind the counter cussing and using very unfriendly language, so as a result our food and other peoples food was brought back multiple times do to the orders being messed up from the workers not paying attention to the customers and when we mentioned that our order was wrong the employees would talk rudely about us behind the counter. On another note I was not very impressed with the food itself, the meats and cheeses did not taste very fresh and the bread had very little taste what so ever. I will not be going back and I wouldn't suggest wasting your time and money here. read more

This was the first and only time I will be going here. I ordered a simple deli sandwich with ham and turkey, what I got was a disgusting piece of crap that looks like greasy chicken gizzards. I didn't even have the stomach to take a bite, it went straight to the trash. I never leave reviews but I was so outraged at the garbage I received in place of a sandwich. 10/10 would NOT recommends read more

As been awhile since I've stopped in for lunch, tables were clean, no waiting to order bad food arrived within 10 mins. I have never had problems at Firehouse Subs and been to a few different locations. Much better than Subway.... read more

30 minute wait for a takeout sub...twice. Never seen such slow service in a sandwich shop.

Good service. Clean facility. Good food. Sorry I cant rate better its a chain sub shop.
