This place is GREAT! It is a favorite around my office. I love the chicken salad, but all their sandwiches are great! They make their own dressings, including homemade ranch dressing! As we all know, a good homemade ranch is MANDATORY in the south. Their homemade chips are crispy and keep well aka if someone grabs you lunch, and you don't get to eat it right away, the chips are still delicious. I'm a pretty fussy eater. Still I was desperate so I decided to try Quick Bites for the first time. I walked in at 1 o'clock and there was a few patrons but no line. The cashier was an adorable, smiling young man. I ordered the chicken croissant. Before I could even open Facebook another cute, smiling employee handed me my food. I like to see happy employees. Was not impressed. Staff was not very friendly, tried friendly chatting while at the register and she did not attempt to communicate. Steak and provolone panini was hard to eat. The meat was in chunks and was tough, so as you bit into it the whole chunk would come out. I am guessing it was homemade chips...no seasoning-not even salt. After looking for a quick sandwich spot to grab a sandwich to take to a park and enjoy a beautiful March day, Yelp led us to Quick Bites. Amazing choice. We found very clean and neat restaurant with extremely nice staff. We were even lucky enough to have our sandwiches made by the owner of the 8 year old restaurant. She was very friendly as well. To top it all the sandwiches were amazing. We had a panini and a wrap with the house made chips. It was great. Highly recommend it. We will definitely stop again when in the area. read more

My husband ordered sweet potato fries. They were supposed to come with a dipping sauce. Imagine his surprise when the sauce was ranch dressing. Yuck. Meanwhile I ordered a Chef Salad. I understood it would be romaine lettuce. Instead it was all spring lettuce mix. Which is okay for a side salad but for a dinner size salad it was not great. 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of turkey, 1 egg, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1 red onion. 4 slices of slimy cucumbers. However, I miss when their homemade potato chips used to be warm. Yes, they came nice and warm with whatever sandwich you were getting. They were freshly cooked with your order. Awesome food! This is a salad and wrap and soup kind of restaurant. The buffalo chicken wrap is on point as are the homemade chips. My wife normally gets the panini and soup combo and she loves it and well. The ranch is great the tea is great as well. Customer service is also awesome every time I go. The food comes out fast and isn't too pricy either. Definitely eat here if your looking for a good lunch. Side note: the owner is the wife of cafe vestivos which is also great as well. Considering the sandwich was $7.99, I must say it was surprising that a common side would be an up-charge, especially one that was substandard in my opinion. My total bill for a sandwich, fries and a fountain drink was just over $11, which is on the high side for this type of food and setting. It was carry out so I didn't open until I got back to my hotel. The panini was a small amount of diced steak and a lot of bread. No cheese, no lettuce or tomatoes. Spicy mayo had good flavor. Too much bread to meat ratio. I'm not sure if I'll return. It's very difficult to find a decent place to eat on Sanford, near the hotels. I'm tired of only having fast food or greasy bar food to choose from. That's why I tried Quick Bites. I guess I'll have to keep looking. read more

I am not a coffee drinker, however, my wife is and she ordered one of the specialty coffees and really enjoyed it. The have a good selection and sandwiches and salads. Overall, the menu leans toward "heavier" lunch items which is also reflected by their side items which include items such as french fries. Their selection of healthier menu options is smaller than I would like, but they are available. I found to be sandwiches to be good, but not great. Also, from my experience the menu is set. There does not appear to be any specials or more creative options. I do find it a bit odd they have such an extensive coffee selection, but don't open until 10:00 a.m. I know my wife and I would definitely go there for bagels and coffee/tea if they were open Saturday morning. Quick Bites serves as a nice alternative to Fresh Choice. Especially, if you are wanting coffee. read more

I love Quick Bites. It is close, quick and delicious. they recently changed the soda machine and now do not have seltzer water, which i loved. Hopefully they can get that fixed.
