Delicious! All senses engaged and delighted. We had a delightful experience: Masaman Chicken, summer rolls, and cucumber salad. Texture, balance, flavor and quantity were spot on! Service was attentive, competent, and timely. The dining area is clean, well decorated and modern. You'll be delighted with your experience... this, our third visit, has been consistently splendid!

quaint and fairly intimate. good date night location.

This is amazing Thai food with a smattering of sushi and hot pot. I highly reccomend the cucumber salad, Shrimp with garlic noodles (heaven), Panang curry, or Northern chicken soup. The flavors and freshness are on point. Service is good. I just moved from Raleigh and this place rivals the Thai found anywhere around. This is a true gem.

This was an unexpected little gem. I ordered the massaman chicken and it was so flavorful and creamy. I love the plate presentation and their ice tea was wonderful. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and happy. I was particularly grateful to Jeff, the bartender, who made me a clean margarita with agave instead of simple syrup. I appreciate that the menu has many clearly labeled gluten-free items available. It's always surprising in this day and age when restaurants don't have that marked.

Shrimp tempura sushi

They have a lot menu choices and good fresh sushi. Brussel sprouts were good and our friends enjoyed the crispy wings and broccoli. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.

There are so many things I love about the restaurant experience in Sanford. The first is how the community comes out to celebrate new restaurants. The second is that you actually get to meet and interact with the chef. Long story short... I had a wonderful time, the atmosphere was warm and fun. The food was amazing and the Chef came by after our food was served and made a wonderful wine and condiment pairing. The food and service were amazing, better than the Thai restaurant we visited in some of the bigger cities.

Panang Curry with Chicken - Outstanding!

I like to reserve my "5" star ratings for places that couldn't get things any better. Honestly I would give a 4.8 only because the Pad Thai just needed a little chili oil but once we raised the spice level to our liking, it was very good. And this restaurant deserves more than a 4 so I had to go with a 5. The Panang Curry was the BEST I've ever had; Wouldn't change a thing!! The Fresh Spring Rolls were delish as well. I could have eating the peanut sauce, served with the fresh spring rolls, on a slice of bread and been happy! The service was outstanding! Adam took very good care of us. He had a great personality and was very helpful. The environment was cozy even while the place was busy. We thought the pricing was reasonable for the quality and quantity of the meal, an appetizer, 2 entrees and waters. I can see us frequenting Saladang quite often and looking forward to trying many more items on their menu but it will be difficult not getting the Panang Curry! Maybe it'll be a to go home order to warm up the following day. Yummy!!

I went to Saladang to experience the new portion of their restaurant that serves sushi and hot pot. That side of the building is a bit more sparsly decorated and has yet to receive a liquor license. But the staff is great and very attentive. I tried the hot pot with spicy beef broth on one side and vegetable on the other. And had a serving of each meat and veg offering. The spice level on the beef broth was great for me but might be a bit intense for others. And the selection of meat and veg were not massive but they were all good.

We feel like family when we come here!!! I Just wanted to share our experience at the new Saladang Thai Kitchen. From our very first visit, to my birthday in January, random week nights, take out and last night for valentine's day. We have tried over half the menu and everything has been delicious. The service has always been great and our cups never went empty. Just wanted to share some of the food we ate. I didn't get a picture of the brussels sprouts and realized half way through devouring the crab cakes (that are full of crab meat!!) the food was picture worthy. I highly recommend coming with friends, a large appetite and ordering multiple things, then sharing plates as the serving size is very generous. (the desserts have varied each time we have been there, last night they had an extra special thai dessert that was a coconut cream with jellies and fruit. My favorite has been the orange cake and I still dream about it )

Went to lunch with eight people and the service was excellent. The food was very good and we did not feel rushed at all.

Loved it. Drove 35 miles to get there, BUT, new management has changed the food. Not worth the drive. So sad

If you are going to allow a reservation at 1:45, don't eliminate half your menu at 2. Poor management.

He was very prompt and friendly and helped us decide what to order and gave some solid reccomendations. I had the KFC in the sweet and spicy sauce with a side of the sushi rice. WOW! It was so good! My wife had the Pisa Hut sushi roll which looked amazing and she said it was the best sushi ever. We did share an order of the pork pan fried dumplings which were delicious. Everything we had was a 10/10 and the service was a 10/10 (ask for Max!) The atmosphere and decor is so nice and its just a really cool spot in downton Apex. Not to mention, Sushi Suyu has a perfect 100 State Board of Health score. We cant wait to go back

Came here recently for dinner and enjoyed my meal…read more First, you can park in one of the big public parking lots and walk over here, so that's convenient. My wife and I booked a reservation for 5:30 PM, and the booking system was a little strange. First, you have to wait for the restaurant to confirm your reservation, so you're basically just submitting a request. Also, there's an "Assignments" selection in the reservation form which has a possible value of 1, 2, or 3. No idea what it means so I left it blank. Then, the next day, we received a curt text telling us that our reservation was confirmed and that they would only hold our table for 5 minutes. I mean, geez, I get it, but how hard is it to say "Thank you for dining with us!" or something to that effect? Not a huge deal, obviously, but kind of funny :) Our server did a pretty good job throughout the meal. The food was prepared quickly and it was very good! My two sushi rolls were very tasty, and my wife's sashimi was definitely fresh. Because we ate there in the late afternoon, there were also some happy hour specials that I appreciated ($13 for any specialty roll, and $6 for certain beers). The beer selection wasn't bad at all, and of course they had sake as well. Overall, we had a really good time at Sushi Suyu and would definitely come back!

We arrived after 6:40 not a really busy time but it still took 14 min to get our order placed and another 15 before we got appetizers. The music was a bit too loud but the overall vibe was as expected. The menu was updated and the specials seemed very creative. We ordered the boba drinks but they forgot the boba and I had to ask for it afterwards. Overall delicious food just a bit frustrating to wait for the basic server attention. I will definitely return to try the specials and I hope by then they get more staff.

Staff are always nice and welcoming. They always provide fast service too! The food is so good. I've had it both door dashed to me and in restaurant. Let me say that they can cook everything up fast! Definitely no long wait times to get your meal. The portions are awesome too and always so fresh! I think this is the best authentic Japanese food you can find in the area. There is plenty of options to choose from too. Sushi, ramen, bubble tea, teriyaki. They have it all and it tastes amazing! I recommend the tonkatsu ramen, friend gyoza and the shrimp tempura roll! Can't get any better than this.

For Fayetteville, Rockin' Rolls is a great option for affordable all-you-can-eat sushi. We came in…read moreright at 5 PM when they reopened for dinner. The conveyor belt had a decent selection with plenty to choose from, I enjoyed what I had, nothing that blew me out of the water, but solid for the price. Hot appetizers ordered through their tablet were also enjoyable and worth it for the value. The hibachi entrées, however, were a letdown. My protein was dry, and while I get that most people probably come here for sushi, the other menu items shouldn't feel like an afterthought. Service-wise, we were seated in a corner near the bathroom, a "blind spot" where staff can't see the table directly. Plates started piling up fast, and eventually we had to flag someone at the register to clear them. The manager came over right away, was genuinely apologetic, and took care of it. While I understand that it's the dinne rush, I still want to make the point that we didn't just have a few plates, it got to the point where we barely had room to eat. For tables in blind spots, there needs to be more attention from the staff so things don't get that backed up. The ambiance isn't terrible in other parts of the restaurant, but sitting in a blind spot feels awkward, especially when your view is a shelf stacked with cardboard boxes. Overall, I want to rate it between 3-4 stars, but Yelp doesn't really give that option. The value is there, especially for Fayetteville, but there's room for improvement in both food consistency and service attentiveness.
