Stopped in while on a business trip. The food was amazing and I loved the quaint setting of the Village area. The Rainbow Dragon Roll and Gyoza Steamed Dumplings were cooked to perfection. read more

The best Sushi in Moore county. Great Staff and the Sushi is fresh and amazing. Never had a bad experience always going home and excited about the next time to dine here. read more

Fresh and delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection. Warm and soft. The sushi rolls had a nice amount of fish and tasted great. The soups we had (Tom Yum) and (Won Tom) were both full of flavors. The price for Neko is definitely on the very high side. Same price as we paid up in New York City. However, the quality give me reason to not go elsewhere in Pinehurst. Service was also excellent. Friendly staff and timing was excellent. You get what you pay for and Neko is just that.... We will definitely make this a regular stop when we want sushi. read more

So tell me how my partner and I go for our anniversary. We are seated and mind you we understand that there are two big parties. And I have to say this was the worst service we have ever had here. We actually loved this place but after this experience we will not be back there. We were seated for thirty minutes without even being addressed. Serving staff passed up by and did not even acknowledge us. It really shouldn't be that staff ignore customers and just walked by us without addressing us. We did like the food here, but honestly this is not acceptable and we will not be returning. Would not recommend it to anyone as a customer you expect a certain level of service and respect and this place did not even meet the bare minimum in this category. Disappointing. read more

Delicious sushi menu and nice place with good ambiance. A great Valentine's dinner date place.

One of our new favorite sushi spots! Located right in downtown pinehurst. The menu was extensive and a great mix of authentic Japanese and Thai cuisine. The specialty sushi rolls were great and the seafood fried rice was good but we did find a few shrimp shells in it but was not a big bother to us. The staff was nice and the sushi came out super fast. read more

I love this place! The best Thai food in Moore County! The Pad Kee Mao and Green Curry are scrumptious. Whether eating there or getting take out, you're always in for a treat. The staff are very friendly and service was superb. Highly recommend y'all! read more

Great Thai and sushi! We visited twice during our stay in Pinehurst. Only a few tables so get there early or order takeout. Servers are very friendly and helpful with the menu. Lots of people ordering takeout while we were there so you know it's good! read more

This cute restaurant is the coziest spot in Pinehurst! We had a lovely experience- The menu is extensive + authentic. As a vegan, it can be hard to find places that are accommodating, but their menu had very clearly labeled plant based options! Everything we ordered was so fresh + beautifully plated- I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for people with dietary restrictions. Our only wish is for a location to open up in Winston Salem as well! :) We can't wait to visit again soon- 1000000/10! read more

Our favorite spot for fresh sushi. Food is consistently fresh and presented well. Never disappoints!

Pad woon sen was very good and fresh. The sushi rolls we got also very fresh the spicy tuna had a sweet sauce on it I wasn't expecting still fresh just not as "spicy". Best Thai dish I've had in the area. read more

I went to Neko Restaurant on Sunday evening with my family. The food was really good, but unfortunately the experience was ruined when I realized I was overcharged. Our bill was $105.56, and I left a $25 tip. When I checked my Amex statement later, I saw a charge of $190. The restaurant claimed I had left an $85 tip, which I absolutely did not. They altered the tip and total, making my $25 tip look like $185 and my total look like $1,185.56. I went back to the restaurant and they refunded me, but instead of apologizing, the manager tried to blame it on my 2-year-old "changing the numbers." Completely unprofessional and dishonest. This is credit card fraud. Please check your receipts and credit card statements carefully if you decide to eat here. read more

Arrived an hour before closing and the staff was very accommodating and genuine. A spicy Tom Yum soup with shrimp warmed up the atmosphere, complimented with a chilled bottle of sake on pack ice. The sushi ordered was met with a chuckle from the staff - but a boat for one is hilarious and delicious. The tastiest rolls where the Hamachi Chilli, Pink Lady Roll, and Hot Lady Roll - just enough chili, fresh jalapenos, and crunch were needed. 10/10 will visit again for the delicious food and great service. read more

We dined here on a Wednesday night. We were seated pretty quickly but had to wait about 10 minutes for our waitress to come over. It seemed like they may have been short staffed. Our waitress was really nice though. We ordered sushi & both liked our rolls. The quality of the food was fresh & good flavor. The restaurant is pretty small but nice, open seating. We'll be back! read more

Shocked to find if you would like a simple spicy shrimp roll-- "it's not on the menu". Ok how about a spicy tempura roll? "It's not on the menu. Really?? Ridiculous. They could do a shrimp tempura roll but could not make it spicy!! Wow!!! Come on people... accommodate your patrons! This was not a hard request! There are many other establishments that want their customers to...be accommodated, return and recommend your place as a friendly place to come. One can only assume you don't accommodate food allergies either! read more

Yet another awesome lunch here. This time decided to mix it up with Japanese and Thai. Ordered a couple sushi rolls and the lunch special. All of it was fantastic. And the best part was the service. Thank you Sam and Mon, we love seeing you each week. we will be forever customers. read more

This is tucked in on the street behind the main street, so it's easy to miss. Don't miss it!! It's the star of downtown Pinehurst. The food is absolutely phenomenal!! The service was perfect and the price was very fair. The best thing is that none of it leaves you stuffed and uncomfortable, yet you're full. It's also a lot bigger than it looks, so don't let the small size concern you. So good! read more

Great food and wine selection. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Great thai red curry and thai tea! The atmosphere was clean and staff were pleasant! Thanks!

Best sushi in Pinehurst and the best staff too. Love everything about the place. Other menu options are quite good too.

Great quaint Thai and Sushi restaurant in Pinehurst! Amazing friendly people with a wonderful atmosphere lends itself to be a delicious experience. Yelp friend Terry C. has been posting Hamachi collar photos on purpose to make me drool, so I began with this marvelous Hamachi collar dish along with a Sapporo cold brew! So delicate, crispy yet tender, fish. 5 stars! Spicy tuna roll, Cali roll, hamachi sashimi & salmon sashimi, unagi(eel) sushi followed with such remarkable taste, am drooling for more now! Will definitely return to try the Thai dishes as the ones being served up to other patrons looked stunning. Cheers and take that Terry! jk... Initially was so worried when Joyce W. came to NC for a visit, would not have a sushi place to take her. *cue laughter* but with Neko Thai and Sushi, it'll be awesome! Located in the center of Pinehurst Village, there's always nearby free parking. As always, thank you for reading and best wishes to all! read more

Good sashimi and rolls. I would recommend Pad See Ew and fried rice. I loved their Pad See Ew the most. The noodles was fried perfectly- soft, smooth yet smoky and flavorful. We ordered a boat for 4. It was huge. If you order a boat then you shouldn't order anything else. If not, you will end up so stuffed like we were. And we had 6 people. read more

Ordered takeout and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes - When I went in to get it, I was told it would be another 5-10 minutes and to sit at the bar. 15 minutes later, a lady comes to tell me it will be ANOTHER 10-15 minutes! Basically, they never entered my order. The worst part - No apologies whatsoever! When I said to just cancel the order, the lady simply turned around and walked away! Embarrassingly rude service! read more

A great lunch and dinner option in the Village of Pinehurst! They have a wide variety of thai, sushi and other Japanese dishes. When my fiancé and I go he typically gets the green curry and I will either get sushi or Japanese appetizers. They have great lunch specials as well! The service is always amazing. The staff are so friendly and attentive. It's a smaller restaurant but it's always clean. It looks right out into downtown Pinehurst! read more

We went here on a Thursday night and the place was starting to fill up around 6 PM. The place has a laid back vibe. We tried the hot lady roll, summer rolls, and the red curry. The peanut sauce that came with the summer rolls was different, but it was amazing! The flavors paired so well with the summer roll. The hot lady roll was fresh and delicious. However, the curry left us feeling like something was missing. One thing to note is that the spice levels are tailored to the demographics. So if you want it spicy, you have to tell them. Other than that, the servers were great and made sure our waters were always full. read more

By far, our favorite sushi spot. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We always have a great experience. Now onto the food. Always fresh, always beautifully prepared. The gyoza is crisp and flavorful. The Rangoon was crisp, and the filling is delicious. I order the rainbow dragon roll. The tempura shrimp inside is always crisp, never soggy, the fish is so fresh.
