Kelly and Romel walked, dog sat, and groomed our two dogs for four years. The dogs love them both and most certainly felt at home while staying with them. We had one dog with food allergies that also had to take medicine daily for his high level of anxiety, basically, he could be a handful. For us, finding someone to keep our two crazies was a task, we had several bad experiences and found out that how the dogs behaved after we were away was a huge tell. If they were crazy and misbehaved upon coming home, we knew their routine and care was not up to snuff. That never happened when they kept the dogs, the dogs were always relaxed and well-behaved upon coming home. Did I mention they do grooming too!? Our Cavalier King Charles always looked so handsome after being groomed. When we first got our puppy, we were very nervous about leaving her with anyone. However, my sister was getting married and we needed someone we could trust to walk our puppy while we were out at the various wedding festivities. Kelly and Romel came very highly recommended from our dog trainer, so we decided to give them a try. They were very accommodating - they came to our apartment for a meet-and-greet and then they came to our apartment 7 times over the wedding weekend (a new puppy needs to be walked every 3 hours!). They were amazing in thoughtfully and lovingly caring for my late (cranky) basenji who was suffering from a nasal tumor during his end of life. Brooklyn Pet Services is absolutely wonderful. If I could give them more stars I would. Kelly and Romel are fantastic. Our high energy dog LouLou Reed has been a member of the club for a few years now and she is treated like family. They have walked her on short notice, she has stayed for daycare and come home exhausted from playing all day and they have kept her overnight when we go away. As someone who is very attached to their dog I can honestly say that I have no reservations about leaving her with BPS. I can go away and know that she is well looked after. I don't think there is a comparable service around. The amount of attention and compassion they have for the animals is endless.
