Amazing place! Head down some stairs and you're in for a delicious throw back dinner! Huge portions of deliciousness! I got the gnocchi with meatballs - real homemade meatballs in an authentic sauce! My husband and brother got the good fella pizza large ! Full of meat - they couldn't eat more than a couple of pieces. They also tried the wings and some garlic bread. Just like everyone said big portions!

Tiny restaurant just off of James St in Hamilton. The food here was excellent. I had the gnocchi with marinara, my daughter had the Penne with marinara, and my husband had the pepperoni pizza. The sauce on the gnocchi was so delicious. My husband said he really enjoyed the pizza. My daughter kept telling us the Penne was "really yummy". We enjoyed the service here as well. Very friendly. Our bill including an 8 oz glass of wine and a beer was $60. Very happy with our visit tonight.

Chicken Parmesan and penne (comes with salad and bread), 1lb of wings, and the "little bronzie" (small pizza). Delicious!

Delicious Italian food, big portions, great prices, friendly staff. One of my favourites in Hamilton!

We came here because the other restaurants in the area had a long line. The place is quite small and very friendly. People seated seemed like regulars. I like the that the music wasn't too loud and i was a good place for conversation. We split a pitcher of sangria and I had the gnocchi with meatballs. The pasta came with a salad and bread and the portions were huge. The food wasn't anything special. I found that the sauce was quite watery. I gave it 3 stars because the ratio of meatball:pasta was a bit high on the pasta side.

Bronzie's has an eternal touch. Not sophisticated food, simple and honest with only the rarest of misses. Portions are a bit American.

It was definitely catering to girls night out. We started with the crispy polenta fries - these were the clear winner of the night. It came with a marinara and aioli sauce, and was perfectly crispy, salty, and flavorful. I wish there was a bigger version of this because it could have easily been a meal substitute. The Arugula salad was also well-balanced and bright - a food combination of sweet, salty, peppery, and crunchy. We got the potato Bianco pizza - would not recommend this. It was very bland and burnt on the bottom. I wish we had tried a different pizza because they looked good! We also had the Short Rib Rigatoni. The flavors of this pasta were stellar! I would highly recommend getting this - the pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was very flavorful, and there was a generous serving of short rib. We lastly finished off with the Tiramisu, which was tasty, but not a traditional "tiramisu" flavor. I'd come back again to try some of their other pizzas and pastas. Drinks were pretty good, too!

Had brunch with a small group of girlfriends here Caro was well accommodated for the group. We had reservations at 10:30 am but it didn't seem like we needed them. It did start getting busy closer to lunch. The atmosphere/attire is very casual and laid back while having a top quality brunch. There's a small paid parking lot a street over from the restaurant.

The risotto was very soft, maybe a little overcooked but I still enjoyed it. The veal was fell off the bone nicely and was very tender and the marrow was yummy. The portion was generous and I was full after but of course I had to get the tiramisu! The tiramisu was not as light and fluffy as I expected but the flavour was well balanced. The amount of espresso and mescarpone was perfect. The service was not great. If it' happens to be full, there is a very large municipal parking lot less than a block away on Elizabeth Street. Paradiso is located in Village Square but faces the street the only place to the west of it that separates it from the Municipal Parking is the nice little boutique style LCBO on the corner of Elizabeth and Pine Streets. We have been going here for many years I'm going to say it's been 20 years or very close maybe more for the ever changing menu. The Chef changes it by the seasons so you are always in for a delicious surprise and selections. The only minus I'd say is their wine list by the bottle it is seriously overpriced. The least expensive bottle of Cab-is $55 ( $14.95 @ The LCBO). Although it hasn't kept us away. My husband ordered it regardless he enjoys a bottle of wine with his dinner. I don't drink so I'm a Perrier or similar gal. Our dinners were outstanding and well priced. They start you off with the most delicious yellow bread it reminded me of cornbread but no corn it's thick like cake cut in wide 1" strips and just as high. It's served with a balsamic vinaigrette for dipping. I could keep eating that . I must ask what type it is on our next visit My husband had the Seafood Pasta which Spaghettini Pescatore consisting of Spaghettini with a white wine cream sauce, shrimp (3 large) , calamari and Atlantic salmon. Not a lot of seafood however only $32 so I'm not complaining. I had the Pickled Beet Salad- basil whipped feta, mixed greens, pickled beets, spice toasted almond crumble with a balsamic vinaigrette $16 and I added a marinated chicken skewer $9 extra. Other choices were garlic shrimp, oven baked salmon ,, grilled sirloin and seared ahi tuna - all $9 to $16 (salmon). All very well priced . For dessert I had the Aftgiuto $9 - also delicious - a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with a side of espresso to pour over it so yummy! My husband's was huge- Salted Pecan Caramel Tart $14 ( more like a pie than a tart,I had to take pictures. Topped with French Vanilla Ice Cream, warm caramel sauce. I tried it, absolutely amazing . We had a great table for two at the very back of the restaurant it was quiet and quaint. Also extremely close to the restrooms which is always handy. We highly recommend Paradiso for lunch or dinner but remember reservations are a must. Keep in mind that the kitchen closes at 9:00p.m.. They won't kick you out but reserve accordingly. We were there two weeks ago Saturday and were shocked that it was completely full right after Christmas in early January and in this economy but as I mentioned earlier it is really affordable. I was also shocked that we had 6:30 reservations and it was 9:00 when we were leaving after our lovely leisurely dinner. We will be back very soon. Below is my husband with his amazing salted caramel pecan tart topped with French vanilla ice cream and warm caramel sauce. The picture I took of it looking down on it you can see what I mean how it is more of a pie than a tart, it's huge. I had a bite of it and even just one bite is so satisfying and beyond delicious it convinces you it's worth every penny . I'd love to order it however it is far too large for me. I wish my husband would share but he loved it far too much to share. Who can blame him? When you go you must try it. We are really into salted caramel desserts but believe me when I say "this the very best salted caramel anything that we ever had, it dances on your tastebuds and I truly mean that". Don't think about it just make your reservations on YELP or call today. Remember Valentine's is just 4 weeks away if you want to take your Sweetheart there for Valentine's you had better make your reservations now.... If it's not too late already. You don't need to thank me just go and enjoy a wonderful affordable dinner. And if you haven't been there before I know that you will become a regular even after just one visit !

They brought out bread and olive oil which was incredible. I think we went through like 6 servings. It was SO good. Along the way, the sommelier came by to introduce herself and make some wine pairing recommendations based on our orders. For appetizers we shared the arancini (a second choice since the polenta fries weren't available), the calamari with shishito peppers, and the cheese with figs I can't remember which. All were very good! My favourite was the cheese. For my entree I had the soup of the day which was a tomato bisque with some fennel, topped with croutons, tomatoes, and cheese. They pour it table side. I loved it. I also had the spicy rigatoni pasta which the server recommended. I was choosing between that and the lasagna but my partner ordered the lasagna so I could try it. It was very good but I was happier with my pasta. For dessert they brought us tiramisu and sparklers, as we were celebrating 2 birthdays. I would go back for many reasons, but the tiramisu is at the top of the list. An exceptional meal altogether. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time overall.
