Just moved to Hamilton, and after several shitty experiences with other places, I found this gem. Absolutely delicious, melt in your mouth 'za. I ordered thin crust, extra sauce; just perfect. I have to say I am beyond disappointed with the service I recieved today…read more I called ahead of time to confirm the price on phone for a pickup special. When arriving to store I was met with a entirely unnecessary amount of attitude when disputing the price as it was 20 dollars more than I was originally told on phone. As I was tired and didn't feel like travelling to another location I agreed and paid the price. When taking the pizza home i then noticed a dead cockroach in my food. This was by the most disgusting and disappointing experience I've had at a fast food establishment from the transaction right down to the actual food. We ended up throwing the pizza away. Waste of time and money.

Nestled on a side-street off busy James St N as you travel up the mountain, you'll find Flora on the ground floor of a older residential-looking building. The first thing you'll notice walking inside is actually how small this place is - the pizza ovens and prep area take up most of the space. But there's something incredibly charming about that because you have high hopes that if they dedicate that much space to food prep, it's gotta be good. Happy to report that their pizza lives up to the hype! Pizza is baked in a sheet-pan with a semi-thick crust that's soft yet crispy at the edges. Crust is on the thicker side relative to some Italian restaurants and pizza chains, but the composition of the dough makes it work because it has a bite but not too tough/thick where it gives your mouth a workout. I also loved their fresh tomato sauce. It balanced so well with the cheese and toppings, giving the pizza a nice freshness so that it didn't feel as heavy. My only critique was that I wanted more basil on my pizza (I love me some basil!)

First thing to know is it is cash only but there's an ATM onsite with a very low fee of $1 to use it (this fee could be $5 and people would pay so this was quite the deal). This pizza is everything you want in a good slice, greasy in the best way, good amount of flop and structure, crispy airy charred crust and of course the cup'n'char pepps are mint. Highly recommend a side of the garlic sauce for dipping. Plenty of seating inside, public parking lot across from it and extremely clean washrooms. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful & cost was super reasonable for the size of the pizzas. Worth the drive to the hammer!

The cannolis from pizza e Dolci won with each taster. My hubby wanted to try their pizza after seeing many tempting photos on social media recently so I agreed as it meant no cooking. My hubby and son had a margherita and veggie pizza on Thursday and really enjoyed them. They told the owner it was unfortunate I couldn't eat there as I needed gluten free and vegan. He said that with 24 hour notice they could make it!! So they ordered one for me to have on Saturday. We called around noon on Saturday but the dough needed a bit more time to rise so I got it around 3:30. The large size cost almost $50 but I understand the extra effort and cost of vegan and gf ingredients. I certainly don't need a large but hubby wanted me to have it as I always complain about no good Pizza options for me locally. The pizza was good. The crust was dense and I like mine more fluffy and chewy.....I have only been to a couple of places that have mastered this. I'm not sure which vegan cheese was used but it stuck to my teeth. I would likely order this again if I had a pizza party but the problem is the 24 hour advance notice. I don't know 24 hours in advance if I want pizza so it would not satisfy a craving if I had one. Popular local place with regular customers and we live to support local!!

(Btw, there are A LOT of pizza places in Port Credit, along Lakeshore, but not that many on this end of the strip.) Place itself is quite small, just enough space to place your order at the counter and that's it. There isn't any indoor seating, so it's primarily takeout. It's run by a couple, husband is the chef, wife is the baker. Everything is made by scratch including tiramisu, cannoli are piped to order. Menu consists of pizza, pasta, panini, & sweets like cannoli, cookies, squares, tiramisu - just as their name implies! I ordered a L Margherita pizza ($22, feeds 3-4ppl) and a tiramisu ($9/2 servings). Crust wasn't the thinnest, but it was really, really good. Pizza was delicioso! And tiramisu? It's homemade, comes frozen, and takes about 30mins to defrost. That was really good as well, quite traditional tasting! All-in-all, Port Credit has soo many restaurants, but I don't find a lot of them good. Pizza e Dolci however is a wonderful additional!
