I was only in for a quick stop, so my friend and I only had time to order a slice each, and not a whole pizza. They seem to only offer more standard, conventional pizza slice varieties (pepperoni, deluxe, H&P, etc...; though if you look at their menu, there's a bunch of other 'premium' toppings if you were to order a whole pizza. The pizza wasn't quite as 'Italian' as I was expecting from the website; however, it's still not too far off and you can taste that it's all made with quality. We also shared an order of wings, which were battered and made completely fresh. Pretty good, though I feel the chicken itself could've used more more pre-seasoning. A very good experience overall, and I'm sure it's up another level when ordering a custom pizza with the 'premium' toppings. read more

We recently ordered 3 pies for delivery: the Margherita, Hawaiian and The Canadian pizzas. Two of the three were delicious. The bacon on the Canadian was plentiful and crispy which other pizzerias don't often get right. However we were not as happy with the Margherita: the bocconcini and tomatoes were either sparse or overcooked as the pie seemed dry and lacking. This was the only reason for removing a star, as the others were very tasty. We will be back for the two we liked and to try others. read more

Been ordering pizza from here for a few years now and it is among the best pizza places, arguably the best pizza in Burlington that I have ever tasted. I usually stick with the basic margarita pizza and it is absolutely fresh, the mozzarella magical and the crust just perfect. I have eaten in there too a couple of times and the staff is very nice. I moved to Burlington a few months ago and wanted to try a non chain pizza joint. I stumbled upon Applestone since it's close by and I am so glad I did. The staff was friendly upon arrival and the pizza was ready right on time. You can tell from the first bite that they use quality ingredients. This is my favourite place for Pizza! You will notice when you have your 1st slice no greasy mess under your pizza. They have awesome toppings like caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, sautéed mushrooms and sautéed onions as well a huge selection of cheeses and a variety of crusts. This is the closest to that taste i have found in the GTA I tried the prisciutto one, thin crust - just so tasty and light - great flavour there was a kids bday party in there when i went, so did take-out - took about 10-15 min at most. the girl at the counter was super friendly! read more

When I first heard we had a pizzeria in Burlington, I was picturing a sit down restaurant with lots of character, so I was a bit disappointed to find out that this place didn't have more than 4-5 tables and looked more like a takeout restaurant. The pizza was good though. I really liked the crust, but my toppings were a bit of a let down. Just popped into to this pizzeria looking for a quick bite coming back from Niagara to Toronto. The reviews looked good and we had a craving for some pizza so we decided to try Applestone. Having visited Italy several times, I was a bit hesitant about trying the Italian style pizza -- but this pizza was incredible. We ordered the Quattro staggioni and it felt like we were back in Rome -- they use the same dough, sauce and fresh ingredients necessary for proper Italian pizza. Not only was the pizza incredible, but the service was also amazing -- we had a food allergy to Parmesan and they accommodated us by providing another pizza without it - thanks Christina!
