I wish the burger was made differently. The lettuce was on the bottom of the burger and there was barely any lettuce at that. Then tomato was on the top of the burger. Good thing for the robust beer selection otherwise this spot would get one star. Quite conceivably the worse nachos I ever had... and trust me I've had my share. This little restaurant was a block away from Yankee stadium and so reasonably priced. The cheeseburger was very unique and delicious, there was chopped onions and their "special sauce" on the burger. My favorite was the yucca fries with the aoili sauce. Very unique. The outdoor seating was very nice and covered so the sun wasn't in our faces. The service can be improved though. If we were pre covid, this place wouldve gotten a 5. I was a regular. I would go every weekend (Fridays snd Saturdays) and be there til close because the feel of family and community was there. Once COVID happened and they let go of GOOD bartenders, they completely forgot about the people who helped them get to where they are at today. Prices went up, they would charge you an extra fee for service (gratuity) and still ask for more. Constant fight and service is poor. The only good thing I give them is the music. Wanted to go to a spot that had open seats outside near the stadium and found this spot. Vibe and service were great. Ordered a few rounds of beers to pre-game before we pay an arm and a leg for garbage beer at the stadium. The energy of this place and block was pretty high and continuous. My only complaint was that the music and sound system was pretty overwhelming. I was practically yelling to my friends at my table to have a conversation, but I guess that comes with the territory. This time after ordering a half and hour in advance and waiting for 2 they canceled my order last minute at closing. Horrible place! They give people plastic cups instead of glasses for alcoholic beverages that cost over 20$! I want to enjoy my drink in a glass not a plastic cup. We arrived here on a Friday afternoon around 12pm and the place was pretty quiet, so we took a seat at the bar and tried a few beers before committing to ordering two Saisons. An hour after we arrived, the place was pretty jam packed. Lots of office workers on lunch break, good crowd overall. So I have found my new after work happy hour. So I went on a Friday after work for happy hour since it is very close to my job. I went because another review said the passion fruit margarita was to die for and for $6 how could I pass up. So not only did I try the passion fruit margarita but also tried the mango and strawberry one......all equally delicious. From 4 to 8 is happy hour and the margaritas, sangria, well drinks,and draft beers are only $6. They also have happy hour small bites for $5. I tried the chicken fingers that were pretty tasty however they did not look or taste like your typical chicken fingers. They tasted more like Dominican cchicharrón de pollo either way it was tasty. I also ordered the Highbridge Nachos with chicken and was given a huge serving that has to be shared. I really enjoyed this spot. I've been here a couple of times, most recently after a park cleanup day. I like this place because it's cool, the beer list is really good and the food is tasty. There is always a good variety on draft and service has always been good. The food has definitely improved since the first time I was there. I had a chicken sandwich that was really delicious. My friends got wings and I had a couple and boy, were they excellent. Only drawback is the limited restroom space. If there are more than a few people in the place, there's usually a line. I'm sure during Yankees game this place is a nuthouse because it's kind of small and will get cramped immediately but if there's not a game on, it's a fun place. read more
