We hoped to sit outside, but the only available table had broken glass all over it from a busted door. It does have convenient parking and I liked the industrial decor. The service was good and the lady was very nice. One thing I will point out is that one of our glasses had pink lipstick on it from a previous customer. The space is outstanding with breezy porches, outdoor fire pits, and even walking trails across the back of the property. In winter, the wood stove keeps the inside nice and toasty. The beers are good, and Jay is a skilled brewer, gradually honing his recipes to the brewhouse. (The Miss Hazy has noticably changed and improved over the past few months.) As opposed to some places with 20+ beers ranging from the odd to the excellent to simply undrinkable, Twisted Oak typically has a range of 6-8 brews on, and all of them quite good. Most importantly, the service is outstanding. Jay and Missy (owners) are welcoming, and the part time help are all friendly and it is obvious they genuinely want you to enjoy the beer and the space. It came on marbled rye bread with a generous amount of meat. My wife loved her burger, and could only finish half of it. She got the sweet potato fries and I got regular fries. We both got a mountain of potatoes-- a challenge to finish in one sitting! Afterwards I got a beer flight which was delicious and I had many beers to choose from. My favorite was the seasonal pumpkin beer! I didn't get food but saw they have pizza on weekdays and additional food trucks on weekends. My pup had a great time. There were lots of water available and dog bowls if you need them. The views for drinking were immaculate. This is a special brewery and we'll be back for sure!!

We waited an additional 10 minutes or so for an appetizer to come out. After that, we never saw a sever come to us. There was a party of 6 before us who was served and then left. We saw two additional parties 4-6 people arrive, in addition to another couple who arrived. These parties were all served before us within the next 40 minutes to an hour. As we looked at the entrees being brought out we thought it would be ours as it appeared to almost be the same orders as what we ordered. Unfortunately, we had to remove ourselves from this situation as we had gone about an hour if not more without proper service. Unfortunately, we were very upset and asked if we had upset someone at the restaurant as we sat outside where it did become hot and we watched everyone who arrived after us be served. Unfortunately, the staff wanted to justify their actions which upset us more. I paid for the beers, soft drinks, and appetizer we did have, but they definitely lost locals at this location which is very sad all because of incompetent and dysfunctional staff on a Monday afternoon. There was no reason for any of this to have happened. But the restaurant made sure to make us feel as invaluable as possible. So if you want good entertainment come here and expect disappointment.
