I stayed at the hotel associated with his restaurant so I ended up ordering a meal here. It's more of a bar so the food items aren't that great. I got the nachos and a mocktail. Both were ok. You are seated outside in a tropical patio. The service was courteous and prompt.

Broken Shaker: It had been a while since I had come by partly because I thought you may have been closed and previous owners selling but I stopped on in on my way to Ray's and you were happening once again. There was even a DJ spinning tunes outside. The vibe was very cool poolside and I saw some good eats passed around. My stop was at Rays this time around but I really liked the vibe happening and I'm glad you are still running. I will be back soon to grab a bite and a cocktail.

I love this spot in Miami. It's a very chill bar connected to a hotel, and it also has a pool where you can relax with a drink or head over to the bar. It's usually pretty busy, and like many places in Miami, the service charge is included.

Food was made fresh to order and good. Price is pretty good to be at the beach. Service was a little slow not too many workers on the week day but staff is super nice! It's a good hide out, date night, and hangout with friends. They also have a dj on some nights. It's almost like a little hidden club but also can be a romantic spot! I think whatever you're in the mood for come here. Drinks were pretty good too and great price!

I was amazed by the flamenco logo. A cocktail slash mocktail is what I was craving. So the drink that I ordered was the Miss Collin's, a mocktail. I was already approaching my 3 drink limit for the evening. The beverage hit the spot. It was my first time even having a Miss Collins. I would recommend it.

My friends and I came here for a post bike ride drink. We really enjoyed the scenery of the pool and the Secret Garden. The decorations were really unique there. For example there was a giant disco ball above the pool, which we thought was pretty cool ha ha. Our drinks were delicious, albeit a bit pricey but I guess it is south beach. George, our bartender was friendly and a good shaker (see what I did there!). After we got our drinks, we did notice that there was a happy hour menu which George did not tell us about , as a local it would have been good to know and I'm sure our pockets would have enjoyed that too! Thus the deduction of one star! Will definitely be back again to have a couple drinks on the happy hour menu! It's a cute place to come with friends, on an afternoon date or even solo!

The bar is located in the backyard of the hostel and beside the pool. It has more of a casual and relaxed atmosphere, suitable for group gatherings or events, or even for couples to enjoy their drinks and some peace and quiet. There's also the Eagle Room that has a DJ and you can enjoy some music and dance by paying a fee. The service can be slow at times, to the point you think they might've forgot about you. The drinks are delicious and they definitely hit the spot.

Broken shaker is a Miami Staple, every-time I go I have a great time and say to myself- I need to make it out here more often! Their patio is so inviting to sit, chill & relax enjoying Miami's beautiful weather. The bar has plenty of fun tropical cocktails and variety of beers. The bartenders are creative and always have great recommendations. Fun place for a casual happy hour, post beach drinks or even a weeknight date.

The vibes at Broken Shaker are so fun! I came here on a bachelorette party and we enjoyed some cocktails and food by the pool. The ambience was really nice and it was a casual yet trendy atmosphere. The food options are limited but they are delicious so it's all good. I ordered the oyster mushroom pita and it was the best thing I had during the whole weekend in Miami. Between the crispy fried mushrooms, the abundant tahini sauce, and the pickled veggies, it was like fireworks in my mouth. The cocktails were super delicious as well. Very refreshing and perfect for the poolside. I loved the peach boulevard- it wasn't overly sweet. The only negative was our server was a little spacey, didn't write down our order and things got messed up. But otherwise it was a lovely experience!

Is there live music sunday nights?

Is it 21+ to get in?

We are open to all ages at Broken Shaker during daytime hours, however once the sun sets we require guests be 21+

What's up with the chair policy at the Broken Shaker?

I really don't know. It always seems that the tables/chairs are reserved. It's a bar, basically, so doesn't make sense. They will have all these chairs available but claim they are reserved. I think that they shouldn't reserve...do a first… Read more

How's the parking or where is best?

Very limited parking like everywhere else in Miami Beach. Best to take an Uber or Lyft

Is there at DJ at Sunday Brunch?

Yes

Are dogs allowed here?

I would guess so. Although when I went for happy hour, I didn't see any

I saw you can make reservations, is it necessary?

I would, they get busy at peak times.

Is this 18+? Do they ID at all?

The atmosphere feels energetic without being overwhelming, and the music sets the mood really well and they have TV in case that's important to you lol. The food absolutely stands out -- everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu has a great variety, and you can tell they really care about quality and presentation. Drinks were just as impressive: well-balanced cocktails, strong pours, and creative options if you're in the mood to try something new. Service was friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations, which always makes the experience even better. Overall, Bar Luca delivers great food, great drinks, and great energy. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend if you're looking for a cool place to eat out in Miami.

Stumbled into Bar Luca on Miami Beach during happy hour and walked out genuinely impressed,…read moreespecially given how rare it is to find specials this good in this part of town. Happy hour clocks in at $12 for food, $12 for all house cocktails, $10 spritzes, and a flat $6 for all beer, which in Miami Beach feels almost suspicious in the best way possible. I kept it simple with an ice cold Peroni while my wife went for the Giardino 75, a gorgeous little spritz built on Empress Indigo Gin, St. Germain, mint, lime, and prosecco. She loved it. The color alone was worth the ten bucks, but it actually drank as good as it looked. For food we shared the Bolognese Grilled Cheese and let me tell you, this thing punches well above its $12 price tag. Thick cut brioche toast, griddled until the edges go deep golden brown, stacked over a rich slow simmered bolognese with cheese pulling through every bite. Dusted with parmesan and fresh herbs, plated with cherry tomato skewers that added a nice little pop of acidity. Comfort food dressed up for a night out. Service was attentive and easy, drinks came quick, plates came hot, and nobody made us feel rushed even sitting through happy hour. The room itself has that playful Sicilian energy with the Moor head planters and bright touches throughout, which fits the vibe of the menu perfectly. Would I make a special trip back to Miami Beach for it? Probably not from Fort Myers, but if you're already in the area during happy hour, this is one of the better values you'll find on the beach. Solid four stars. Good drinks, good food, great specials, and service that actually showed up.
