This is only Thai place I found that offered green Thai tea--delicious! My boyfriend's watermelon juice was also fresh, garnished with sweet juicy watermelon bits. The spring rolls weren't fried in hot oil, so they were oily more than crispy. The pad see yiew and pad kee may were sweeter than I'd hope! The spice levels are lovely--actually hot! But the fried noddle dishes almost tasted reminiscent of bbq or teriyaki sauce. The veggies inside and the noodles were cooked to perfection! I also enjoyed that the water had lime juice! The staff was young, so he had some awkward moments. For example, he asked if we were ready for the bill while we were still eating. Friendly and hardworking though! I was a little skeptic because of the location and name of the place. Honestly it's like a somewhat upscale hole in the wall place. I was actually impressed with the ambience, service and food here that I can't wait to come back. LOCATION: On the Makai side of Kam Hwy before Blaisdell Park... don't drive too fast or you'll miss it. PARKING: There's a small parking lot in back. There are also stalls for take out orders closest to the street. There were a lot of take out orders coming in as we ate our lunch. SERVICE: I recommend coming in before the lunch rush. When I walked in, it was completely empty. As we started eating the seating area got full and take out orders were non stop. It was just 1 server and 1 cook.... From what I saw.... The timing of the server was a little unconventional but she did a great job handling the dining in customers and the take out customers at the same time. At one point the lady cook (maybe owner?) came out to deliver some dishes. FOOD: I forgot to ask what level heat I wanted but it came out perfect. I had the pork pad kra pao. First time here, I was confused with the name of the restaurant which delayed me from trying this place. Thai food with a Hawaiian local slang. The restaurant was renovated, clean and modern from the previous restaurant. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The food had great flavor and according to the owner, her recipes are very much authentic Thai food. We had the Yellow Curry which was really good, Pad thai noodles was good but very spicy. The food was spectacular. This is definitely going to be my goat to spot went in Hawaii for beautiful tasting Thai food. The level of quality put into the dishes was amazing. We ordered Penang curry (chicken), Thai tea, a variety of sticky rice and jasmine rice. We also ordered drunken noodles... crispy, delicious fried chicken, wings and a side of chicken fried rice all came out excellent plus. I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try if you love Thai food as much as I do. The restaurant ambience was very relaxing, family, friendly, and cozy and the hostess Mariah, assisted us with the upmost, and even was very willing to take a few family photos of us, which we truly appreciate it. Their name, Brok da Mout and a dish named "pad se you", tells you everything you need to know. Authentic Thai street food? No. This is some kind of local variant loosely Thai with a nod to local Chinese food (using bell peppers, broccoli, etc). If you added a scoop of mac salad, I'd say it was a spicy plate lunch. Straight to it, the pad kra pao with chicken, bizarre. It taste like thick, local sweet teriyaki chicken made spicy with old, dry, ground chili powder. The "teriyaki" flavor is so strong it overpowers what taste like Thai, not holy basil and garlic. Using dry spice instead of fresh Thai bird chilies results in a dusty, earthy taste and no vibrancy or freshness. At least the egg was fried crisp. Pad kee mao with chicken is equally strange. Did they use the same "teriyaki" marinade and dry chili powder to over season this dish? Bell peppers, beans, head cabbage, overcooked thinly sliced chicken? Where's the basil and again, fresh Thai bird chilies? IMPORTANT: Do NOT use online ordering. The markup is as high as 50 percent for PICK-UP. Today my sister and brother in law decided to eat some Thai food . We heard pretty good things from our fellow Yelpers about this Thai restaurant called Brok Da Mout. They're located right across from Taco Bell on Kam Hwy . It used to be Kentucky Fried chicken back in the day and more recently Fresh Catch . Brok Da Mout is for real! Very authentic and delicious! We ordered 4 dishes and topped it off with a mango sticky rice dessert that's the best on the island!! Kira was our server. She was awesome! She was very kind and friendly and made our day. The place is clean and the ambiance is nice with tables and chairs that seat a max of probably 30 people at most. The restaurant is on the corner of busy Kamehameha Hwy in Pearl City. Parking is on the side street right next to the building. If you haven't tried their Thai food, I think you're missing out. When this restaurant first opened, it had good reviews but not a lot of them. Fast forward and they have more reviews and they are still rated good, so I figured it was time to check them out. The staff were all really friendly and filled water often. The items we had were all really tasty also. We tried the pad thai (staple when trying a new Thai place), green curry, tom yum soup and green papaya salad. The tom yum soup was more sour than I remember it being but I hadn't had it in a while. I didn't mind it but just noting that for folks that might be considering it. There is a small parking lot behind the building, which was nice to have as I hate hunting for parking. Brok Da Mout is the kind of restaurant you almost don't want to tell anyone about because it feels like your own little secret, but they absolutely deserve all the love and success coming their way. And just to be clear, this spot is not to be confused with Broke Da Mouth, which is a totally different place! They're doing Thai food right. It's been a challenge finding truly great Thai food on Oahu. Sure, there are plenty of decent spots that hit the craving, but nothing has taken me back to the bold, vibrant flavors I remember from Thailand until Brok Da Mout opened just a few months ago. I've already been here more times than I can count, and I've loved every single dish I've tried. My go-to orders are the Panang Curry, Green Curry, Fried Rice, Grilled Herb Chicken (Thai Huli Chicken), Spring Rolls, Fried Chicken Thighs, Mango Sticky Rice (when it's in season), and the Green Thai Tea. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on that list, but if it's your first visit, the absolute must gets are the Panang Curry with a side of sticky rice, Herb Chicken (available Friday and Saturday only), Green Thai Tea, and Mango Sticky Rice whenever it pops up on the menu. A quick tip: start with mild or no spice, then ask for their spice rack so you can control your heat level because they take spice seriously here! I'll admit, the prices have gone up a bit with each visit, so I'm hoping it doesn't get too crazy expensive. Still, the quality and flavors are worth every bite. Also, a heads up, a couple of times I've noticed a small charge for takeout boxes, so either bring your own or don't be surprised to see it on your receipt. The restaurant is super small, so it's not great for large parties. Expect a wait during peak times. It's perfect for groups of four or fewer, so pick your three of your favorite people to join you. Also, parking is very limited to carpool when you can! At this point, I consider myself a regular because I crave their food at least every two weeks. Penang is not my favorite, but it was recommended so I got it. I will say that next time I will be trying the green curry if anything however they do have green curry fried rice on the menu, which is one of my favorites from another restaurant so I may just do that. The crab fried rice was decent, but once was probably enough. In addition to wanting to try the green fried rice, I would like to try their basil fried rice, another one of my favorite favorites. They have Tom kha which I'm excited to come back for. They also have a Mee Ka Ti that looks nothing like the Mee Ka ti I currently eat. They have a few salads that I would like to come back for in particular the soft shell crab. I didn't try the ribs because I don't eat pork but my dad enjoyed it twice and my son who got to try one also said it was fire.. this makes me excited for the rest of the meat dishes for all my meat-eating friends & family. And they have so many! Don't even get me started on the desserts because I had to get the blue one (I'm a sucker for food that is blue). So think of the common coconut sticky rice with lychee. And make the sticky rice warm. Holy smokes. So yummy. Of course I will be back for the rest of the desserts. Parking can be a little dicey. This adorable Thai restaurant just opened this year, right across from Popeyes (where Fresh Catch used to be), and it's already become my go-to--I've eaten here three times this month alone. There's parking and the inside is extremely cute. You can tell they put a lot of love into the decor--it feels cozy and homey. The server was extremely nice and greeted me when I walked in and when I departed. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The female worker was kind of fun! She liked my "babies", Cony, Brown, Miffy, Stitch, and Nikki Bunny! She was having her employee meal at the other table and she called out to me to let her know when I was ready to order. I called out to her that I was ready and wanted Pad See You. When my meal was ready, she told me as she was walking over, "Your Pad See You looks very good!" LOL! I told her that I'm sure it was! We stopped by for dinner after leaving the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet. It was a 5-10 minute drive from there. It's at the location where Mom's used to be at. If you're into Southern food you know where this place is. There's a small parking lot in the back. Right off the bat, I noticed that their menu was extensive. I had a hard time choosing what to get. I'm a creature of habit, so I went with my usual at Thai restaurants. I got the mild seafood panang curry $17.95 with sticky rice $4 and chicken pad thai $$15.95. The hubby got the chicken theo tom yum $17.95. I also got a glass of longan juice $5. They have excellent Thai food here that I would highly recommend. The only thing I would knock them for is the amount of seafood they put in my curry. It was mostly shrimp and calamari. It had one scallop and one small piece of fish. The curry itself was awesome along with the sticky rice. You need sticky rice with Thai curry. My hubby loved his tom yum. I tried the broth and it was delicious. It was really fragrant and flavored. The pad thai was also off the charts good. You could smell the aroma coming off if it as they brought it to the table. You could just taste the char and the sauce as it was so flavored. I even found a tamarind seed in the pad thai, which gave it flavor. I've eaten a lot of pad thai's and have never found a seed before. I also got a glass of longan juice. I grew up eating lychee and longan, so I love that stuff. This is the only place that I've been to that sell this. They also put in 4 pieces of the fruit in the glass. One of the recommended curries listed on the menu; however, if you have a peanut allergy, there are other curry flavors. Fried Chicken Thighs were tender. Not too much chicken skin which I enjoyed. Chili vinegar, semi-sweet sauce that accompanied this entree was addicting. Clung onto the chicken skin like there's no tomorrow. Pad Thai: Loved the squirted lime over the thin rice noodles with generous, tender pieces of chicken and tofu, some bean sprouts and green onions. Delicious! Bua Loi (Thai Mochi Balls): Natural colored mochi balls from carrot, taro, and pandan leaves and thinly sliced lotus roots immersed in warm coconut milk. Loved this dessert! Update 12-16-25. Today my brother said let's try this Thai place that was located in the old fresh catch in pearl city bldg by pearl harbor park. Walked in after 10am and we chose a table with comfortable chairs in the corner. We had shrimp regular fried rice, beef ong choy stir fry, spring rolls, Panang curry, and the drunken noodles. The shrimp fried rice was good even though a little sweet, the ong choy wasnt Chinese style but ok, the spring rolls wasnt to my liking too much string of blk mushroom I think, the panang curry was ok but on the thick side, the drunken noodles was alittle spicy even though we ordered it mild. Over all the food was OK but other places we always go is better. But if you would like to go try them. read more

The lady was nice and gave my wife, some juice to drink so she no make stink. This newly open restaurant is going thru some growing pains. I'm sure they will work it out. The fried chicken pieces were pretty filling (4pieces) and came with sweet chili sauce on the side. Ordered the pad Thai because it was recommended on the menu and it was tasty! The veggies were fresh and the noodles had that classic sweet and tangy flavor. The yellow curry had a rich curry flavor. The spice level was mild. The texture was great over the sticky rice and a little more on the creamy side. The pork pieces were thin but not overcooked and plentiful. They are located right next to Blaisdell Park in Aiea, right on the corner, and recently opened for business. There's a small parking lot in the back. It wasn't busy at all when I walked in. There was one man ahead of me in line which gave me time to peruse the menu. They have quite an extensive menu with several authentic Thai and Laotian dishes. Some of which I've not even heard of. Prices varied, a lot on the higher end than other Thai restaurants. I decided on the green curry chicken mild, Thai tea, and the beef nam tok mild. I was anxious to try the nam tok since I had not eaten it before. Wait time for my order was about 10+ minutes. The young gal that served me was efficient and nice. Green curry chicken, mild The container was nice and hot & stayed that way all the way home. This was $17.95. It had good flavor with the coconut milk, spices, basil, red bell pepper, and chicken. The chicken was not overcooked and it was in bite-sized pieces. Even though I asked for mild, it was on the spicy end. Thai tea Delicious. I had Thai tea on one previous occasion and liked it with the interesting combination of black tea, milk, and spices. The drink is $5 and served in a glass jar if you are dining in. If it is take out, it's $1 more & in a plastic cup. Nam Tok Beef, mild This was great! At first it didn't look like much for $18.95 when I saw some meat, a few pieces of lettuce, cucumbers, and carrots. After tasting the beef, I was sold. There was actually about 4+ oz of beef. The beef had such good flavor, very tender, and sliced thin. It has a sour taste but the taste was more like a vinegar sourness like in pork adobo. Also with this dish, even mild, was still spicy. The only thing I didn't like on this salad was there was way too much cilantro. With so many Thai food options on Oahu, what sets this one apart? Other than being new, their Thai food definitely broke da mouth. Ordered takeout during their soft opening. Hoped to try their banana lumpia and bananas in coconut milk dessert but it's seasonal so they didn't have any. So we settled for mango sticky rice and their beef pad Thai. First impressions, their dining areas were clean and nicely decorated. I can imagine the girls coming here for lunch or dinner and taking cute pics. I love the modern Asian decorations. Plenty of seats. There were a couple of people in the restaurant but we ordered and received our food within 15 minutes! I could tell that it was their soft opening because the employees seemed a bit frazzled and lacked communication with each other. Beef Pad Thai: Easiest dish to compare to other Thai food spots. Lots of beef and tofu in the pad Thai. There was so much flavor with every bite. Thinner noodles are just better in my opinion. It was very convenient because I was next door getting my lashes done. The interior has a fresh new look. Service was friendly. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai for $17.95. The noodles were pretty, nice color, flavorful and just the right texture for a good chew. The tofu was meh no real flavor but I needed the protein. Would I come back again- absolutely. After Visanh Chanthabandith's family emigrated to HI from Thailand some 10 years ago, their dream was to open a Vietnamese restaurant. After having gone through food trucks and farmers' markets, their dream came true when they opened their family-run Brok Da Mout Thai Food in Pearl City on 6/3/25. "Brok da Mout" is a Hawaiian pidgin expression meaning "so delicious" or "incredibly delicious," that is used to describe food that is exceptionally good. It was a very generous portion in a large tub; medium spicy with a nice kick, very creamy and not watery like some other Thai restaurants. It was very flavorful, as every bite we took with rice tasted so heavenly! * Pad See You. Stir fried wide rice noodles with egg, crunchy choy sum, chicken. Generous portion again with fresh soft chow fun noodles that contrasted with stir-fried crisp choy sum with chicken (as requested). Another flavorful dish that we couldn't stop eating! Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable for their dishes. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Despite the restaurant being opened for only a few months, it was hopping at 11a! One large group occupied a table, and one solo diner occupied another. However, there was a constant stream of customers coming in to order takeout or to pick up previously ordered takeout. We waited about 20 minutes before our order was ready, with staff providing us with mint-infused water. While waiting, we noticed a number of kitchen crew working hard in the back, busily preparing orders. The restaurant interior has a seating capacity of 24 and is spacious with booths and a large round table. It's clean, bright, and spacious and nicely decorated. The ceiling has a trellis of fake greenery with pink roses, and there's a wall of handmade Thai potted vases or containers. Hours of operation are Tues to Sun 10a to 8p, Mon closed. Brok da Mout is located on Kaluamoi Dr, off of Kamehameha Hwy next to Sheridan Park in the former Fresh Catch location. It has its own free parking lot of about a dozen spaces in the back. Credit cards are accepted, but prepare to pay the additional 3% service fee. An awesome place for Thai food, but I must admit its restaurant name threw me off a bit. They need to have "Thai" in it! Here in Pearl City you must try Brok Da Mout which is where you'll find them if you're heading West it's right after Blaisdell Park right across Taco Bell and if free private parking in the back doesn't get you excited they also have pick up parking just right outside of their the lot making it easy for a quick pick up is something unique that does make your life easy for some great food. Inside this cozy spot with just a few tables we decided on a spot beside their feature wall and just loved the service here that's so friendly and helpful as I arrived with an extra personal item she kindly brought over a chair for us to place it on even as we ordered a bunch of items to put the water pitcher (which had mint and lime for a very refreshing sip) to the side so that we had a clear path to enjoy each dish. Ordering is very fun and easy as the menu has pics of each item along with a brief description and with that it was the "Pad See You" is one of my comfort food with thick and chewy wide noodle seasoned with soy sauce, "Fried Calamari" was a massive rustic cut unlike the Italian version that I passed on is deep fried served with a light chili sauce, "Yellow Curry" is a lightly sweet and mellow bowl of goodness though our potatoes was a bit undercooked I enjoyed it, "Pad Krapow" is listed on the All In One section and is described as the Thai Loco Moco understandably as it comes with rice and egg though the meat is grounded minced that's so flavorful, "Crab Fried Rice" another item I passed for my allergies is looked to be loaded with crab, and finally "Eggplant Stir-Fried" so flavorful ad cooked perfectly and as many of the menu item does come with a choice of protein the options are just endless. Besides water I did give the "Thai Green Tea" a try as our server gave it a nice description of similar to matcha but with a slight sweetness which it was as the Thai tea was slightly more herbal but was a nice sip. Gone are my days of driving to Chinatown for Thai food. I was suspect of Brok Da Mout, solely on the name. We ordered Panang curry with chicken, pad see ew with shrimp, Thai style papaya salad, crab fried rice and spring rolls. All dishes were medium spice. My mind was blown! All of the dishes had amazing depth of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The curry was so flavorful and thick. The shrimp in the noodles were huge and again, noodles seasoned perfectly. The papaya salad, so flavorful. Impressive **real crab** fried rice. I cannot say it enough, I just didn't expect such good food from a place outside of Chinatown with a name like Brok Da Mout. The food is good here! We had driven by and realized the old Fresh Catch has been replaced by a Thai restaurant and put it on our list to try. We ordered take out. They did a nice job renovating the small space with several tables so you can eat in as well as a counter seating. The employees/owners seem very nice and it felt very welcoming. I recommend the Pad See Ew and the Crab Fried Rice. Flavorful and no complaints. Next time I will try a curry and a soup. I definitely recommend coming here for some delicious Thai food. We came here for an early lunch and were blown away by the amazing food and customer service! We ordered the spring rolls, panang curry with shrimp, and the pad see ew with chicken. Every single dish was fantastic. The curry was so flavorful, it was some of the best curry we have ever had, and the shrimp was huge and fresh. Pad see ew and the spring rolls were also delicious. Came to check out the new Thai restaurant near me. It's just off Kam Hwy in Pearl City, where the KFC used to be (for you old timers). I came at 2pm so there wasn't a lot of customers. The inside is nicely done. It's small with 6 tables for 4 each and a bar area (not sure if they serve alcohol). The menu is diverse. While heavily on the Thai side, there was also salads, hamburgers and fried chicken. I ordered the green curry with chicken which is my go to Thai dish. The curry was very good. The consistency was just right and the flavors were spot on. The staff was friendly. This is now my go to place for Thai food. read more

Here's a logistics run down: - Free parking in the back - Carryout parking available too - Available on UberEats but the prices are super inflated. I recommend dining in for the best experience :) Every single thing I've ordered was definitely brok da mout, I am so excited to keep combing through the menu it's so so so so good. Just be prepared for a little wait time, it takes them 20 minutes to make the food but you'll forget about it all when you get some bites in. Basil Fried Rice - BOMB. 10/10 Layers and layers of flavor. Huge portion but so good that you want more!! PANANG curry - INSANE. BOMB. 10/10 hands down the best Thai curry I've had. There were so many layers of flavor in the curry our eyes were rolling to the back of our heads. Rice is extra money though so make sure you ask for it. Pad se-ew - HONESTLY super flavorful, perfectly cooked. The best I've had AS WELL!! There's a lot of places that undercook it or overcook with lots of oil. This place made a perfect pad se-ew. Pad kee mao - ALSO a solid. They have this with the chow fun noodles and spaghetti noodles. Both are INSANELY good. I am seriously a huge fan of this place. Dining area is very simple, however they can get really busy. We tried dining there one day but they legit ran out of certain proteins. Brok Da Mouth took over the Fresh Catch Pearl City location. The interior is similar to a lot of other Thai restaurants. We got the papaya salad, panang curry, and pad thai. I really liked that the panang curry was a little thicker and had a lot of flavor. It's definitely on the board for being one of my more favorite panang curries. The pad thai and papaya salad weren't really our personal favorites though. The pad thai was a little too fishy for me, and the papaya salad was just okay. I wish it had more of that vinegary, sour punch. It was kind of mild. Overall, the pricing is definitely fair. It might even be a dollar or two cheaper than most places, which is nice. read more
