Pad Thai $17.95
Reuben L.

First time here, I was confused with the name of the restaurant which delayed me from trying this place. Thai food with a Hawaiian local slang. The restaurant was renovated, clean and modern from the previous restaurant. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The food had great flavor and according to the owner, her recipes are very much authentic Thai food. We had the Yellow Curry which was really good, Pad thai noodles was good but very spicy. And the Beef Noodle Soup which was really good and very well portioned. I will come back to try other items.

The food was spectacular. This is definitely going to be my goat to spot went in Hawaii for beautiful tasting Thai food. The level of quality put into the dishes was amazing. We ordered Penang curry (chicken), Thai tea, a variety of sticky rice and jasmine rice. We also ordered drunken noodles... crispy, delicious fried chicken, wings and a side of chicken fried rice all came out excellent plus. I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try if you love Thai food as much as I do. The restaurant ambience was very relaxing, family, friendly, and cozy and the hostess Mariah, assisted us with the upmost, and even was very willing to take a few family photos of us, which we truly appreciate it. Like I said earlier in the review, this place is where you wanna be.

Thai pho & Laos papaya salad

Round 2 didn't disappoint. Thai pho was amazing. So much flavor you don't need to add hoisin or anything to it. Fresh veggies, super tender beef and real deep rich broth. Definitely not your traditional PHO but no complaints. Oh yeah and the Laos papaya salad hits every time!

Their name, Brok da Mout and a dish named "pad se you", tells you everything you need to know. Authentic Thai street food? No. This is some kind of local variant loosely Thai with a nod to local Chinese food (using bell peppers, broccoli, etc). If you added a scoop of mac salad, I'd say it was a spicy plate lunch. Straight to it, the pad kra pao with chicken, bizarre. It taste like thick, local sweet teriyaki chicken made spicy with old, dry, ground chili powder. The "teriyaki" flavor is so strong it overpowers what taste like Thai, not holy basil and garlic. Using dry spice instead of fresh Thai bird chilies results in a dusty, earthy taste and no vibrancy or freshness. At least the egg was fried crisp. Pad kee mao with chicken is equally strange. Did they use the same "teriyaki" marinade and dry chili powder to over season this dish? Bell peppers, beans, head cabbage, overcooked thinly sliced chicken? Where's the basil and again, fresh Thai bird chilies? IMPORTANT: Do NOT use online ordering. The markup is as high as 50 percent for PICK-UP. It's OK not to be authentic and no one will fault creativity but this goes too far.

Today my sister and brother in law decided to eat some Thai food . We heard pretty good things from our fellow Yelpers about this Thai restaurant called Brok Da Mout. They're located right across from Taco Bell on Kam Hwy . It used to be Kentucky Fried chicken back in the day and more recently Fresh Catch . Nice little private parking for the establishment and inside I was surprised a nice dinning area . We ordered 1 appetizers along with 3 main dishes . Spring roll Pork stir fry Ong Choy Shrimp fried rice Panang curry Pad see Ew My favorite was their shrimp friend rice and the Ong Choy . The Pad See Ew was a little spicy for me and their spring roll was ok . Friendly service and prices reasonable. Support local

Brok Da Mout is for real! Very authentic and delicious! We ordered 4 dishes and topped it off with a mango sticky rice dessert that's the best on the island!! Kira was our server. She was awesome! She was very kind and friendly and made our day. The place is clean and the ambiance is nice with tables and chairs that seat a max of probably 30 people at most. The restaurant is on the corner of busy Kamehameha Hwy in Pearl City. Parking is on the side street right next to the building. If you haven't tried their Thai food, I think you're missing out. I took pictures to show you what we ate from the menu and we happily waddled out of there but will return again and again.

One day I'll get thru all of these

Rating would be a 4.5 but since it is not possible I went with a 4.0. Came for the crab fried rice; will be back for the extensive menu. This menu... this menu is extensive and different. Partially expanded due to having Laos dishes, in addition to Thai. Super happy to see their wide range of desserts... in addition to appetizers and main dishes. I'm coming back for sure. Dad & I dropped by Saturday lunchtime & was pleasantly surprised to find that there were seat seats available for us to sit down immediately. Only one server/cashier, which can make service a little slow however she was really sweet and attentive. Crab fried rice, Thai ribs, and tofu Penang curry was ordered. Penang is not my favorite, but it was recommended so I got it. I will say that next time I will be trying the green curry if anything however they do have green curry fried rice on the menu, which is one of my favorites from another restaurant so I may just do that. The crab fried rice was decent, but once was probably enough. In addition to wanting to try the green fried rice, I would like to try their basil fried rice, another one of my favorite favorites. They have Tom kha which I'm excited to come back for. They also have a Mee Ka Ti that looks nothing like the Mee Ka ti I currently eat. They have a few salads that I would like to come back for in particular the soft shell crab. I didn't try the ribs because I don't eat pork but my dad enjoyed it twice and my son who got to try one also said it was fire.. this makes me excited for the rest of the meat dishes for all my meat-eating friends & family. And they have so many! Don't even get me started on the desserts because I had to get the blue one (I'm a sucker for food that is blue). So think of the common coconut sticky rice with lychee. And make the sticky rice warm. Holy smokes. So yummy. Of course I will be back for the rest of the desserts. Parking can be a little dicey. I will probably suck real bad when they start getting really busy. As it is they had a gentle flow of take out people, as well as first time diners who came for the crab fried rice (from what I witnessed during the 1 hour I was there). This food is good and it's not cheap. But so far has been worth it. I'll be back.

First time trying this restaurant and I would come back. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, pad Thai and drunken noodles with tofu. All were tasty and the drunken noodles were my favorite. The noodles and vegetables and tofu were seasoned well. Portions were good and I had leftovers to take home. We came for an early dinner and service was quick.

feeling adventurous so tried something new. Lots of parking in the back. clean bright seating area and was greeted and seated immediately. lucky we got the last table. super nice staff. tried the longan drink its lightly sweet and refreshing. also had the thai tea which was strong and tasty. the fried chicken came out HOT af crispy crunchy. nomo patience to let it cool... has that lemongrassy taste. good. the chicken pad see eiw was sweet and savory. got panang with jasmine rice... was spicier den normal and in a good way. gobbled everything up and left happy.

This adorable Thai restaurant just opened this year, right across from Popeyes (where Fresh Catch used to be), and it's already become my go-to--I've eaten here three times this month alone. There's parking and the inside is extremely cute. You can tell they put a lot of love into the decor--it feels cozy and homey. The server was extremely nice and greeted me when I walked in and when I departed. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. My personal favorites are the fried rice, panang curry, and pad see ew. Every dish has that perfect balance of flavor and comfort that keeps me coming back. Hands down, the best Thai restaurant on Kamehameha. Please support this gem--you won't regret it! :)

Thai cuisine in Pearl City, O'ahu, Hawai'i... I read reviews and saw photos from my friends, Ruby S., Angel H., Gabriel P., and Deborah P. This place seemed legit and good... especially with free parking behind the building! Inside, Brok Da Mout was bright, clean, spacious, and cute! The air-conditioning was much appreciated! I ordered the Pad See You... it's like a sweeter version of beef broccoli chow funn. I substituted beef with tofu and instead of broccoli, it came with choi sum. I liked it! The female worker was kind of fun! She liked my "babies", Cony, Brown, Miffy, Stitch, and Nikki Bunny! She was having her employee meal at the other table and she called out to me to let her know when I was ready to order. I called out to her that I was ready and wanted Pad See You. When my meal was ready, she told me as she was walking over, "Your Pad See You looks very good!" LOL! I told her that I'm sure it was! She must've thought that I was really hungry because I finished quickly! What she didn't know was that I brought my own container (for leftovers) to save fifty cents! Haha! I'd like to return with another container and get the yellow curry with rice... and some Pad Thai! Also... the watermelon juice was intriguing...

We stopped by for dinner after leaving the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet. It was a 5-10 minute drive from there. It's at the location where Mom's used to be at. If you're into Southern food you know where this place is. There's a small parking lot in the back. Right off the bat, I noticed that their menu was extensive. I had a hard time choosing what to get. I'm a creature of habit, so I went with my usual at Thai restaurants. I got the mild seafood panang curry $17.95 with sticky rice $4 and chicken pad thai $$15.95. The hubby got the chicken theo tom yum $17.95. I also got a glass of longan juice $5. They have excellent Thai food here that I would highly recommend. The only thing I would knock them for is the amount of seafood they put in my curry. It was mostly shrimp and calamari. It had one scallop and one small piece of fish. The curry itself was awesome along with the sticky rice. You need sticky rice with Thai curry. My hubby loved his tom yum. I tried the broth and it was delicious. It was really fragrant and flavored. The pad thai was also off the charts good. You could smell the aroma coming off if it as they brought it to the table. You could just taste the char and the sauce as it was so flavored. I even found a tamarind seed in the pad thai, which gave it flavor. I've eaten a lot of pad thai's and have never found a seed before. I also got a glass of longan juice. I grew up eating lychee and longan, so I love that stuff. This is the only place that I've been to that sell this. They also put in 4 pieces of the fruit in the glass. However, it wasn't fresh longan. It was from a can, but it didn't matter. I still loved the drink. My hubby tried it and did not like it. I'm sure it's an acquired taste.

She loves going to temples and loves Thai food so I definitely was excited to explore this temple together. Based on the address on Yelp, I got lost for a good 10-15 minutes. I almost gave up but luckily spotted it and had to do a U turn and we finally arrived. So I arrived 10 minutes before the food stalls closed but honestly they stayed opened a bit longer than their closing time. As I saw ppl arrive even later and was able to still make purchases. I do have to say that they do start cleaning, and not everything is available as things were being sold out. They have a table for you to grab utensils and condiments. There are some tables you can sit and eat the food that you purchase. Most of the food I purchased was about $10 each. And you pay each stall that you are at. My mom and I enjoyed everything we ordered, if only we were staying in Hawaii more days, we would definitely come back or even order more. The hard part is that they do not have a website and they are not open every Sunday either. So try calling or just randomly go and pray that it will be opened. I honestly really enjoyed my visit. Both a cool temple to go see and being able to eat authentic Thai food it was an extra bonus. 2 thumbs up from this Yelper. I highly recommend coming here if you have not been. Ordered: *Fried Bananas *Papaya Salad (you can request how spicy you want this) *Pork noodle soup *Sugar Cane Juice *Fish Cake *Water Bottle $1 *Pork spare rib Tips: *Cash Only *Restroom available. *Outside temple street parking in the dirt or pull in and try your luck to find parking.

The spring rolls came out nice and crispy it had the right amount of vegetables and meat inside and went well with the dipping sauce, only thing for the 6 rolls they only have 2 small leaves of romaine to wrap the rolls in so we just ate it with out the romaine lettuce. I had the Evil Princess stir fried with pork and green beans and bamboo shoots, onions and basil leaves with a curry sauce. It was okay but on the sweeter side due to the coconut milk in the curry. Crispy garlic pork, garlic beef, pork belly with crunchy gai lan (Chinese broccoli) just to name a few. Finally, noodle specials. The drunken noodles shine. Loaded with properly cooked protein of your choice, veg, and surprisingly a ton of mushrooms that act like a sponge sucking up the delicious seasoning. A brilliant addition to the perfect wok fried, wide noodles. IMPORTANT: Do check IG for holiday and last minute closures. Like all food trucks, do not go at the posted opening hours rather 15-20 minutes later to be sure they are ready. Cash or card. Visit after visit, always greeted with smiling faces and leaving with outstanding, satisfying grindz.
