    Onions on a pita

First off the people working were kinda rude and seemed annoyed they had to work. They were sitting in booths watching TV when i arrived. The food was pretty bad. Nothing redeeming about this place. Ordered souvlaki chicken on pita....all I really got was a pile of onions. Also got fries that weren't anything special.

Great little greasy spoon. Prices are on par with mid-upper end fast food. Food has always been really good.

Had a beef and it was excellent! Also the fries are fresh cut and perfectly cooked. And interesting enough the catchup was exquisite.

At 4pm on a weekday it was already bustling, and this place is popular for good reason! The entire vibe and the staff are just super cool. Even the bathrooms are an experience, with heavy metal music blasting in a way that just adds to the unique charm. To drink, I tried the lucky linny and blood orange sour, which were both fantastic. I'm not typically a huge beer person, but after this visit I'm well on my way to crossing to the other side. For the appetizer, we split the cheese curds. I really liked the Korean inspired twist and the kimchi aioli served alongside. I think it could've used a little more salt and arrived warmer for a nice cheese pull, but otherwise it was enjoyable. I opted for the double cheeseburger as the main event, and it was really well done. The beef was juicy, perfectly cooked, with ample high quality cheese and caramelized onions. I think the sauce could've used an extra something, but overall it was a great burger. Great experience all around. Can't recommend highly enough and look forward to returning soon!

Got it. Boozy? Check. No complaints there. Most of their food is pretty good. Went yesterday and had their nachos which were great. Unfortunately their mac of the month sounded good before we got it. Mac and cheese with mushrooms and bacon sounds great. But when we got it, it not only didn't look good it was just weird and they really missed the boat with it. They added blue cheese to it for some reason which threw off the taste, had raw tomatoes on it which added to an already way too liquidy sauce, and the pasta was way overdone. It's a shame because their pimento mac with breadcrumb crust is great. I feel like they just tried to get too fancy with that one and also forgot that if you add piping hot sauce to done pasta, it keeps cooking it. That said, service was very good and we will come back...but we will be wary of the mac of the month.

Thanks to the kindness of Moe, the GM along with a few of his crew members who changed our tire in drizzling rain. Thank you Moe and Team Eden for your kindness. Sometimes we forget how incredibly kind and generous the hospitality community truly is . And as for the food- best ever! I had the Soul and Smoke wood fired ham and cheese melt. Delicious! The Market Burgers are the best in the city! Chef Devon Quinn and his team are outstanding. The arugula salad (esmee) is very good as well as the hummus with pita. I was disappointed with the burger since it had too many ingredients clashing with one another for attention. This place has got to be one of the most wasteful restaurants on the planet. Just like another…read morereviewer, I had high hopes for this place as it had great reviews and the fact that it was near public transit (assuming it gets high foot traffic). We went here after our flight landed in Chicago - instant regret. I ordered the chicken gyro, which, for some odd reason came with a quarter of white onion chunks, a whole Roma tomato, lots of lettuce, and a whole vat of tzatziki sauce. I requested feta, as that is pretty typical in a chicken gyro. I was told it would be an extra cost, to which I agreed. Yet imagine my surprise when I received not one, not two, but three entire sticks of whole feta. Not crumbled on top of my pita like I was expecting. Additionally these three blocks of feta ended up being $5. That's on me. If I had known to check the menu for whole feta sticks, I would have known better. Aside from that, the pita was almost completely inedible, as it was just coated and lathered in the tzatziki sauce. It came to me on a flat pita, completely impossible to pick up. I ended up requesting just a plain side pita to just construct my own. Wayyyy too much stuff wasted on one pita. Cook could have made a whole second pita from the very mid ingredients - would have made it more worth the price and excessive amount of feta. The side pita was reasonably priced. Just like the other hopeful reviewer, our fries were overcooked and practically hollow. Additionally, we each got a "side of fries" and that was practically a BASKET of fries. So...two baskets of too many overcooked fries. Another waste. I wanted to do more than pay and leave, but God did we have a rough flight. Was not expecting to be so disappointed upon stepping into what seems like a "Mom 'n Pop" kinda place. Run the other way so you don't feel guilty about the amount of food you are bound to waste.

We started with a bunch of cocktails (I wish I remember the names.. but they were all so good!). Food to start, we ordered the Charcuterie, and the House Made Pretzel. We were obsessed with both! The charcuterie did not skimp out like some cheese/meat plates do.. it was a satisfying amount that we kept going back for more. The pretzel was outstanding, twisted and hot, perfectly soft and salty. To eat, I split the Gretel Griddle Burger and the Fried Chicken Sandwich with my friend because although we were there for the burger, I kept reading about the chicken sandwich being fantastic. Booyy they were not wrong!! As much as I loved the burger, the chicken sandwich was my favorite! Perfectly crispy, with this sweet and spicy glaze and the crunchy Asian pear slaw... OMG. I'm still dreaming about this! One thing we were excited about were the Elote Riblettes.. but I wouldn't order these again. I accidentally bit the whole thing and didn't realize they kept the core in, and I had to spit it out. And even after eating it properly it didn't feel like I got enough of it from those little bites. Loved the fries though! We didn't see a dessert menu but we would have definitely been interested in that. After all the drinks apps and the chicken sandwich I was feeling so full so I couldn't finish the burger so I got it wrapped to go. But let me tell you even when I reheated that burger the next day.. it was fantastic!! Overall we may have been the loudest and most obnoxious group (we get a bit excited haha) our waiter and the vibe were all matched! Genuinely loved this place, and looking forward to coming back soon.

Parked in front at 7:15 and walked in - was pretty dead on a Saturday. Sat at a table in the front windows and ordered a coffee and an apple juice. Ordered a breakfast burrito which comes with skillet potatoes. I liked the flavor of those. The burrito was great - egg, chorizo, avocado, and cheese. We split pancakes as well which were good and came with berries and cream. Really liked it here - the locations are 10-20min away from central CHI but the drive is worth it.

I tried the turkey BLT with a side salad. I appreciated that the salad was not the typical basic side salad as it had fruit, cheese, etc. the dressing was very tangy. The cost was typical for Chicago, but felt a little high as the bill was $26 with tip and I drank water.
