A salesman brought them to the store the next morning. There's no shipping involved. This is robbery. I am in business too and restocking fees are 15-20% at most. Someone is making a few bucks here. Would not work it out with me. I'm sure they are keeping these 3 boxes of tiles to re-sell. Then the saleswoman says to me, "What about the time I spent showing you tiles and arranging the order". Well, that's part of your job and part of doing business whether I purchase or not. Rude and condescending. Pleas be aware of this hidden RESTOCKING FEE. After meeting with Rick and Vincent on at least two occasions we signed a contract with Cusumano Construction on 3/1/19 for complete demolition and renovation of our bathroom. Work was scheduled to begin on April 1, 2019. Only upon us contacting them two days prior to our scheduled start date, did Rick Cusumano text me that they had a schedule problem with their plumber being on vacation and would need to push us off until Monday, April 8th, which we agreed to. We then reached out to Rick Cusumano on Saturday, April 6th to again confirm that we would see them on Monday April 8th. At that point, we received a text from Rick Cusumano that they were cancelling our job because they were too busy to fit us into their schedule. Yet, we had a signed contract with a paid deposit of $1,350 with a start and completion date reflected so, in fact, we were already on their schedule. To add insult to injury, the check I received from Cusumano for return of my deposit on was dated April 3rd so Cusumano had decided to breach our contract on or before April 3rd but failed to notify me until I reached out on April 6th; less than 2 days prior to start of work. According to the terms of the contract agreed to, we purchased all materials including tiles and fixtures totaling over $4,000. Due to breach of contract by Cusumano Construction Co and the fact that we had to go find a new contractor, any overage of material purchased can now no longer be returned for refund. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY!!!!
