Thank you for the prompt response and detailed consult and for even attaching the hose to my toilet.

I found this contractor on Yelp and I'm really glad I did. He showed up super fast and was extremely friendly. Very knowledgeable and truly professional. He got the job done quickly, cleanly, and with great attention to detail. The price was excellent too -- very fair for the quality of work. All around, an outstanding experience. After contacting a few contractors that wanted to rip me off, rude and unprofessional. I found Zach with American Royal Renovations to remodel my kitchen, bathroom and floors for great price. Zach is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. There is no such thing as it can't be done with Zach. My wife and I are very satisfied with Zach's craftsmanship. The whole team is very clean as they covered everything then cleaned up after the projects were done. I recommend Zach to everyone looking to get it done right. As soon as Zach looked at the plumbing issue I could tell he was an expert. Everything was redone with brand new pipes and fittings and the price was very good. After talking with him I found out he does much more than plumbing, check his company out for any construction job you need done. read more

Very responsive and did work quickly with quality. Kind, humane people. Zach seems very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.

On Nov 19th, 2024 I reached out to Zach at American Royal Renovations regarding a water leak that was coming out of the light fixture in my shower. He called me back in a few minutes to discuss the issue further and the very next day he sent me a price quote for a plumber to come, open up my shower ceiling, detect the source of the leak and make the necessary repairs. Zach is extremely professional, reliable, and gave me great sound advice. His high reviews rating on Yelp is the reason why I contacted him. I'm so glad I found him! read more

I had a leak in my kitchen sink and Zach was able to come the same day and replace the pipes. I especially appreciated that he took the time to fill up the sink and let it drain three times to make sure the water was draining properly and there were no more leaks. Would definitely use again. read more

We worked with Zach and his team on 2 bathroom renovations, and it was an overall great experience, and a very smooth operation. 3 things went incredibly well, in case these are relevant to you in your next project. They work fast; they finished it on time, and it was already ambitious - for reference, other contractors gave timelines that are 3 - 4x longer, seriously. They use no excuses, even though I personally think that they had some external factors led to some hiccups - which were handled very professionally. Zach listens your ideas/vision very well, and responds to them. I talked to other contractors, who are eager to tell you what they think or tell you why you are telling them doesn't sound good. With Zach, he works hard to understand what you want to get, and doesn't shy away from telling you how your ideas could get better. There were a couple of pieces in our plan that were very ambitious, he didn't push back, and worked with us throughout the project. At the end we didn't reach these ambitious goals, mutually agreeing, but it was a great learning experience for us. Lastly, they are eager to work through all the suboptimal setup. Unfortunately we, homeowners, didn't plan well enough certain things, and we had some gaps in our projects. When we hit these roadblocks, they patiently worked with us. We didn't hear a single excuse, or complaint about them. We solved all of them together, it felt like a single team. I really recommend Zach and his team, at the very least you should just talk to him, and have a conversation, you will be pleased. read more

Found this gentleman on Yelp, decided to call as tub is rusty and clogged, Zack picked up after a couple of rings, explained my problem, he spent his time describing all the different reason why water won't drain, the different options available from the least amount of damage to the most affordable, felt he was really trying to understand and help, will try a product he recommend and see if it will work, he also does other household work like painting, remodeling, roof, etc, we will keep him in mind for all household needs, it's a plus he is in the area read more

American Royal Renovations provided excellent and speedy service to address my plumbing problem. Within a few hours of my call, they texted me, asked for pictures to show the situation with my kitchen sink faucet and then made very helpful suggestions for fixing the problem via text without them having to make a service call. Their suggestion was exactly what I needed, and I was able to fix the problem myself. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. read more

Zach is very genuine and upfront unlike most plumbers in the NYC metro area. He is always looking out for others and does not hesitate to offer help despite the conflict of interest with his business opportunities. He offered some very nifty ideas that helped me save a lot of time and money. I reached out to Zach on Yelp for a couple of plumbing projects. Zach was prompt to respond and visited me the very next morning to provide an estimate. He arrived on time and was a great listener. He listened to my basic ideas and vision and did an in-depth analysis of its feasibility. Zach was very interactive and thorough throughout. While listening to my plans, he was simultaneously surveying and architecting them as we spoke. His unwillingness to compromise on quality was very relieving and refreshing to hear! Multiple plumbers came by trying to rip me off on the smaller project I had under the kitchen sink. Instead of giving me a quote, Zach suggested a couple of techniques that worked like a charm! Although his quotes were out of my budget, Zach offered his expertise in the form of consultation on plumbing techniques for no charge at all! I did not get a chance to directly work with Zach but I look forward to reaching out to him for my future plumbing questions and needs read more

I am not rating them based on their work but rather on their lack of customer service. Tuesday 6/15 at 6:05 p.m. I sent a message that I would be available on Friday 6/18. Received a reply on Wednesday 6/16 asking for my address which I promptly sent. Also mentioned that my husband was home if someone wanted to go by. Reply was I will let you know. Never heard from him until I messaged him on Friday 6/18 at 9:40 a.m. I sent a message asking if someone was going to come by and if so please let me know approximately what time. The reply was give me a few and I will let you know (10:33 am.) At 12:35 sends a text telling me what it could run me xxx dollars. I replied I wanted to make sure the company can do the work. He said when I was ready to do the work let him know. To which I responded that I want to have a conversation first to discuss the work involved, cost & timeline. He replied he was booked for that day but can stop by on the weekend or during the week after 4:30p.m. Said he was free Saturday & Sunday, weekdays after 4 pm. Asked if he could come by tomorrow, Sat. 6/19. At first I said after 12 then sent another message with 8-9 a.m. Reply was give me a few and I will let you know (standard response). He can do 2-3 pm. Saturday 6/19 at 10:10 sends me a message that his guy will be at my house in about an hour. I said I wasn't home but will be by 1 and reminded him that agreed time was 2-3. At 11:27 I let him know I was home. His response he will be there as agreed. At 3:16 I asked for his ETA. At 4:51 he responded with his guy got stuck on a job but will come by on Monday but someone needs to be home all day.. Excuse me? I told him to forget it because he wasted my time. He wasn't the first nor the only plumber I contacted but he was the only one that wasted my time. Everyone else showed up when they scheduled or called/texted to say they were running late. The person texting I am assuming is Zach who should learn that you get more bees with honey than with vinegar. read more

They were super responsive and could have come out and charged me money but they told me it was unnecessary so they put customer first over money which is as good a reason for 5 stars as any. read more

I worked with Zajo (Zack) Nikocevic from the time that I was looking at my first potential apartment purchase. To say that he was supportive in the process of designing the necessary modifications for that apartment (which I did not end up buying) and the necessary modifications to my current apartment (which he ended up working on) would be an understatement. We went through several iterations of quotes before coming to a final set of modifications (such as reinforcing a wall, sanding and restaining the wood floor, removing and replacing a small range for a larger one, etc.) His workers were professional and he stayed within the budget for agreed-upon services. He also lent me his handyman for a day in order to assemble my furniture. I was genuinely happily surprised by how well the job was completed and how fairly I was treated. read more
