My husband was driving a van to pick up and close out our unit. The gate was open, so he drove in. She chased us down in her golf cart, to inform us that we had violated the rules and should've entered our code. We apologized and proceeded to empty our the few things in our unit. When I asked the procedure for closing out the unit, she fired a bunch of questions at me, to see if I had gone through the proper steps. I told her I didn't know the procedure as we just decided to close out the unit that day. That's why I was asking what the procedure was. She made us stop what we were doing and go put in the code for the gate. Then she said to stop in the office on our way out. She never explained the procedure. She informed us that it's all in the contract and again was unbelievably rude. We signed the paperwork and couldn't get out of there fast enough!!

The water drained into my storage unit and flooded one of them. My mattress & boxspring (2 months old) were molded, my 2 mo old bed rails were bubbled, the wood feet on the sofa split. The boxes that my deceased husband's music industry awards were in were saturated and molded. They said it wasn't their fault and they wouldn't pay. My insurance refused because it's ground seepage. I'm up to $2,381.99 in replacement costs so far for what I lost. Their management company BCI Capital Management, Inc. didn't give a damn about me or my stuff. Move your stuff if you have it there.

I consulted with someone I knew in Az and he managed to find a buyer for trailer for less than it was worth. I lost all the contents from my children's baby pictures to all my furniture and family heirlooms. no reimbursement of any kind was offered. so after many years {and a lot of money} keeping my possessions safe I lost everything. Other than that, they were great - just make sure you have a doable back up plan in place.
