I like honest car sales people…read more And from our latest car buying excursion, we continue to find them rare. For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. If you come across a clean, unmolested 1990 to 1993 Mustang convertible, give me a call!

What followed was 33 days of "we can't pay you until the title arrives" -- even though my lender confirmed in writing on 7/30 that the loan was paid in full. I'm an Army veteran and I handled this the right way: calls, patience, follow-ups, numerous conversations with their manager Mike. The day I said I'd had enough, his position was still that I could go to the DMV myself or wait another three weeks. Dismissive from start to finish. On 8/27 I showed up in person with the lender's paid-in-full letter. Only then did they hand over my check -- dated 7/27, two days after the sale. It existed nearly the whole time they were telling me they couldn't pay. The car had already been resold. (Keep-or-cut sentence:) Nothing in the bill of sale I signed conditions payment on the title. If you sell them your car, demand a payment date in writing. Every date above is documented.

I have now purchased two Mercedes Benz from Top Line Auto…read more(2005 E500 bought in 2016 for me & 2011 ML350 bought in 2022 for my wife), and both times I have nothing to complain about. Both I took to my mechanic (see my review on European Service Center) and both cars just needed regular maintenance work. Both were 11 years old when I bought them, so yeah, it was bit more than just fluids and filters, and yes, they are MERCEDES so the cost will be higher than a Toyota. Everyone in Top Line was attentive and patiently answered all mine and my wife's questions. There were a couple of things on the ML350 that I pointed out and they could care of. There was one item that they stated they could not fix easily (steering column would not go up or down, but does retract and extend) and therefore they would not do it. Since this is more a comfort item than anything else, we had no problem with that. If any my friends were to look for used luxury vehicles, I would send them to Top Line, and when I am looking for my next car, I will be returning.

Take your business elsewhere.

Update: 2 weeks after purchasing the car from Auto…read moreStarlight I could not be happier with my decision on signing a deal with Kamiar on a Toyota vehicle! The experience was smooth and he is very knowledgeable about every car he purchases and sells. He insured me that all my request would be completed which included ordering a 2nd pair of keys and detailing the vehicle. Kamiar also insisted on helping me search for competitive prices on maintenance and tuneups to make sure my car lasted a lifetime. (This assistance is rare/impossible to find in the car industry) If you're in the market for a vehicle I would highly recommend utilizing his service to meet your needs. 5 stars

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING…read more This is long overdue. I tried not leaving this review, but the public has to know. I don't deserve what I'm going through with my perfect credit score being over 740. This vehicle has a recall since 2019, but the dealership doesn't touch anything aftermarket, it has to be stock. When I first saw the vehicle, I checked the engine light since it was deleted. I barely saw enough since I didn't want to be caught. Now that I have the vehicle, there's more than what I expected. Again, bring an engine code reader, don't go by what they say. I'm spending over $1,200, and there's a lot more I'm having to pay to get my valve springs repaired which is around $800-$1,600 to fix. So yeah, I'm one "happy" customer alright. I already replaced the fuel filler neck and charcoal canister that was causing the fueling up the gas tank problem, and now the most expensive one yet is my valve springs that's causing a lot of things to go wrong with my ride. I got crapped on, big time time. I surely hope everyone double and triple CHECKS ANY vehicle before buying. Don't just go by what anyone says at all. That is all. Thank you.

Don't trust the five-star reviews -- the owner repeatedly pressures customers in the shop to leave…read morethem. I brought my car in on Sept 30, 2025 to check if brake pads needed replacement. The owner immediately insisted I replace all rotors and pads (front and back) and rushed to order parts without giving me any options. He quoted me ~$960, calling it a "medium price" and the "best deal." Later, I discovered that the same kind of parts cost only about $410 at AutoZone--less than half of what I was charged. I was very polite when I asked about this difference, and I even said I would accept the extremely high price since the parts had already been ordered (but I didn't see any receipt for them). Despite that, the owner became hostile, refused to show me receipts, and told me he would add $200 more just because I questioned the price. Worst of all, he threatened to tow my car away if I don't pay the unreasonably high price and continued to raise questions--even though I told him I needed the car to pick up my child from school. This was not only unprofessional, but also coercive and intimidating. No customer should be treated this way. The lack of transparency, inflated pricing, retaliatory surcharge, and threats make this one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an auto repair shop. REPLY TO OWNER'S RESPONS: Basis of Complaint: 1) Failure to disclose or offer reasonable, less costly alternatives. 2) Misrepresentation of pricing as "medium range" when it was substantially inflated. 3) Refusal to provide receipts or documentation. 4) Imposition of a retaliatory $200 surcharge. 5) Threatening to tow my car to force compliance. 6) Sharing our personal information publicly without permission Requested Resolution: I request that the business: 1) Provide complete documentation and receipts for all parts. 2) Adjust charges to reflect fair market value. 3) Remove the $200 surcharge. 4) Cease use of threats or intimidation against customers 5) Delete the customer's personal information from the public posts.

I gotta tell you . 1. The tires were supposed to be rotated…read morein balanced. Because the car had a shake in the steering wheel. When you hit eighty miles an hour. The sales told me that they rotated the tires balanced. The issue is, it was a complete lie? Because the tires can't be rotated. Because they're different sizes on the front and back. And they never balanced the tires, because the sheikh was still there. I took it to discount tire and had them balance. The tires and the shake went away, but I had to pay for that. 2. He told me he would fix the paint chips. In the front and wax and buff, the car out with clay buff. They washed and wiped the car down. But they did not remove any of the scratches or touch up any of the rock chips. So i'm having that done. 3. They said that they would fix the seat where the wear marks were. They did do that. However, it wore off the second day that we sat in the car. It was not done with a real interior Guy. Joe, i'm gonna go to an interior shop and have them. Do it with some proper dye, or whatever they use to make it look good. 4. They told me they would replace or calibrate the tire sensors. So all four of em showed the tire pressure. They told me that they did that. And after I drive it a little bit, it would go away, but it'll take twenty miles. It never went away. I had discount tire, put in two new sensors and had to pay for that. 5. I asked you about the chip in the windshield, and you had told me it got fixed. It did not get fixed. Lastly, remember you had the car two weeks after I bought it and paid for it. And made two weeks of payment. And find out during those two weeks, nothing got done on the car, and to make it worse, the salesman drove it 20 and had to leave it overnight in a parking lot. These are all issues that really should have never happened. Without the roof issue, there's over a thousand dollars in money that I had to spend.
