A few years ago, my mother passed down her diamond solitaire and enhancer to me. Based on recommendations, I went to a jeweler in Westchester to have the two rings combined and changed from yellow to white gold. I was so saddened and disappointed by what was returned to me. When I addressed my dissatisfaction, the jeweler did not offer to rectify anything. I wore the ring, always so bummed about what I had done to it. Recently, I found myself in Fishkill and stopped at Broad Options. The name of the store and its appearance are not grand, nor glam. Rather it's a modest shop, run by a family of wonderful people. I talked to Joe, explained that I wanted to turn the ring into two different pieces (I did ask for my mom's ok first ). I brought in photos of what I liked. He listened and we discussed what I wanted. He has been wonderful to work with, always explaining the process, and keeping me informed. The pieces I received are exactly what I wanted!
