Noah and his team were incredibly helpful and detailed in helping us remodel 3 new bathrooms in our house as well as install doors / trim throughout. Noah worked around our needs and his team (Jack and Yu) were amazing. There were a few issues that popped up - due to other contractors - and they helped us solved it and remove stress with the options they came up with. We were so happy how things turned out and appreciate how communicative Noah was throughout the project. Looking forward to working with them for our kitchen remodel!

We are so grateful to have found Noah and his team working with us on the La Jolla renovation project. The scope consists of a complete remodel of 2 bathrooms and a kitchen; updated all lighting and electrical outlets; modernized an old fireplace; replaced all interior doors and baseboard; and painted interior and exterior of the house. They were highly efficient and took only 1.5 months to complete the whole project. Price is reasonable. We are very satisfied with their craftsmanship especially tiles installation. Noah did a great job in managing the project and we have fewer headaches. A truly professional crew. Highly recommended.

Noah is the most attentive and responsible contractor I've ever encountered. He helped remodel five bathrooms, and each one turned out exceptionally beautiful. He also extend my kitchen window and installed a 150-pound crystal pendant for my house。Before undertaking any task, he communicated with me meticulously, confirming every detail. We started working together in February and continued through December. Whenever I call him, he promptly addresses and resolves any issues.

Noah and his team did a fantastic job remodeling two of our bathrooms. He got the project done in time and under our budget. He was flexible with any last minute requests and changes we wanted. His team is really professional & hard working. Their workmanship, especially in tiling is really great.

As referred by my best friend, I tried Noah's team. I have never been this much relax in a construction project. Just let him know what you like, he can order, pick up and even return for you. All those extra services are NO CHARGE. Great service, top quality but a reasonable price. I have a 500 sqft garage, and want to convert to a two bedroom one bathroom ADU. Noah starts from the drawing to the final inspection, total only in 5 months(City permit takes 2.5 months). My another friend used another contractor at San Marcos for the same job and we started at the same time. Her project is just like a disaster. Underground, rough framing, rough electrical, and rough plumbing are all on at the same time, but not a single one passed the inspection in the last 10 months. And the owner only showed up once at the beginning to collect the money. I am glad I used Noah instead of that contractor.

Full bathroom remodel

Noah and his crew are the best thing that has happened to my rebuild. We had to do a full remodel due to a house fire and Noah took care of the following: repipe of whole condo, tankless water heater install, floor install, door install, decorative panel install, paint, 2 bathroom remodels, and much much more. Throughout the whole process he was always thoughtful and knowledgeable about what needed to happen to complete this project. I don't know how I would have survived without Noah working on this. I would not hesitate to use Noah for ALL of my future projects. Thank you Noah! You honestly helped me through this rough time in our lives and it was a pleasure to work with you. Can't wait to work with you again in the future.

Tiles

Noah and his team have done an amazing work on our bathroom. They were working lighting fast and paid a good attention to detail. I'm very happy with the final result and will definitely contact them in future for more projects.

Project scope was to demo two bathrooms down to the studs and remodel according to our design. Rough in materials were by the contractor (e.g. lumber, mortar, piping) and finish materials by us (e.g. tile, grout, vanity, fixtures). Their estimate was thorough, detailed and reasonable - should you get multiple estimates, you will find that this is seldom the case. Bro did everything they promised and stayed on or ahead of the promised schedule the whole time. The workmanship is generally good, except the carpentry and tile work, both of which are better described as exceptional. Where we had a mistake in the design, they pointed it out and suggested a fix. They staged the work so that we always had one functioning bathroom. They came highly recommended by one of my colleagues, so apparently satisfying quality and schedule objectives is their norm. We are very satisfied and if we had a third bathroom, we would call Bro in to do it on a sole source basis.

So far so good, they are on their way to completion but Noah and his Team have been on point, seriously they are very professional and polite. And punctual! Very hard to find people like that today. And the price was reasonable and fair. The way it looks is that we will be calling them for all our remodeling. We are having our kitchen remodeled, flooring in the whole house done and some wall removals and wow those guys don't play around. Talk about great work ethic!

Very happy with our bathroom remodel. Noah responded very quickly to our call and came out and gave a detailed quote. We went to broremodel storefront to pick out materials and a week later they came out to do the work. Noah responded to texts in a very timely manner. Demo to done in 5 days. We opted to paint ourselves.

Second bathroom

I used Bro Design to remodel all the bathrooms in my house. Noah and his crew did a great job. When Noah said they would redo the tiles of the master bathroom shower after they found a little moisture in the wall which they could have ignored. I know I can trust them and that they would do the right thing. I appreciated their honesty, integrity, and the great job they did.

Being so far away we needed someone to trust in our Design build project. They were a great help in recommending trades and suppliers for our 2 day visits to get the project started.Their CM Shelly worked with my Architects through a very complicated and detailed design and plans to create a truly impressive project. The work was on time, with what's up work meetings and excellent communications with my associates as the project proceeded. Best of all when there were problems Shelly helped fix everything including a day long final punch list inspection where every single detail was taken care of perfectly to my exacting satisfaction. Very impressive and one more example of Shelley's client service. Pictures of their work on this project are available. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. He was very patient with us. We LOVE how everything turned out! We'll definitely be using Lumina Builders for all of our future projects.

We went with Forever Builders, who also did some demo for us when we first moved in. Among other things, we 1) stripped and replaced the floor, 2) demoed the built-in tub and replaced it with a soaking tub, 3) replaced the vanity countertops, 4) installed a chandelier and sconces, and 5) installed a custom shower door. Steve was our project manager for the entire project, which took 3-4 weeks. We are so incredibly pleased with the result, and just as happy with the service and professionalism we received from Steve and his team. Steve managed every aspect of this complex project flawlessly, stopped by frequently to check progress and QC each phase of work, and was consistently responsive and professional. He took my calls on nights and weekends, and I always felt taken care of and valued as an important customer--such a rare occurrence these days. The craftsmanship was flawless too. I am a detail-oriented person and tend to demand perfection, and Forever Builders exceeded my expectations. As a bonus, they also installed a floating vanity for me in a secondary bathroom, as a complimentary part of the project. Since then, I have also asked Steve and Forever Builders to patch up a huge portion of ceiling drywall at my mom's house that was screwed up by another company, and they did an amazing job with that as well. You will not find a more consistently exceptional company. I'm a customer for life.

We hired them to do an addition on our home in BayHo in late 2022 (you've probably seen it on their socials) Our first project manager Nathan was horrible. He never communicated and when he did he'd ensure something would get done, only for it to never materialize. Thankfully we were assigned to Ben when I said I was just cancelling the project all together. The company pushed us hard to hire their "engineer/architect" and BOY was that a mistake. The plans were horrific, the project was delayed and it wasn't until I reported him to the licensing authority and threatened litigation that he responded to the city's request for changes. We found out later that multiple requests we'd made for the plans (pocket doors, arched doorways, etc) were never included and thus couldn't be included without starting over. At this point our project was already delayed over three months. Once work did begin we were hopeful but the project was wrought with issues. One being a MASSIVE leak during construction into the current structure of our home. We had a newborn baby and were forced to move into a tiny part of our home during this. The entire side of the house was left open and exposed for weeks which was incredibly unsafe. The project ended up being completed and almost immediately had issues (not to mention a number of frustrating things during the build I don't even have space to discuss). Grout was disintegrating, cracks were forming all along the drywall, we'd notice issues with the flooring and tiling in the bathroom. Then during the storm in San Diego in 2023 the ENTIRE addition began to leak. Water was POURING in at every point it joined the existing structure. It's now been a month and still the damage hasn't been repaired. Work was supposed to begin 9/26 after two random men I'd never met showed up and walked into my bedroom through an exteriowithout knocking (on 9/22) to "check it out." At 1pm after contacting Dor (owner) and Ben (old project manager) we were told they'd "come tomorrow." So the entire day we took off to be here to supervise the moving of our very expensive light colored furniture I was point have every bit of communication from this company so please spare me the gaslighting response. Then- in early 2025 our sliding door began leaking. We contacted them and they said it was just a "caulking issue." They came and put silicone all around the door and left it at that. They didn't repaint or fix any of the interior damage from the leak. At the end of 2025 our drain in the shower stopped working. A plumber found no obstruction but said the drain wasn't installed properly, so we have to leave the drain cover off to use the shower. Absent tearing the shower out, there's no fix. Fast forward to today- what do you know? Another leak! This time, during the most recent rain, water began coming in where the addition meets the living room. No way I trust them to be honest, so I hired a licensed roofer. He came out and said where the addition meets the original home wasn't actually sealed (and assumed a roofer didn't actually do the work). They apparently put silicone gel down where the two roofs meet, instead of firing the roof and melting it together. We'll be seeking reimbursement for this repair or eventually filing a claim in small claims court. If it gets to that I'll probably be asking to have all the shoddy work repaired. I could never in good conscience recommend this company now. I'm disgusted by the lack of communication and poor workmanship. I honestly don't even trust them to repair their work at this point.

Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.
