Bottles of reds

Hubby and I was visiting Virginia and wanted to go to a few vineyards while in the area. We chose Brix and Columns as one of them. It's a beautiful vineyard with wonderful wines, views and kind staff. This was our second visit and the wines were still fantastic. We really enjoyed the mimosa Sunday, the flight of mimosa and White wine was incredible. This is a must stop if you are visiting vineyards in the area, definitely one of the best! I think we will make this an annual visit.

Fantastic site for big events or just for a quick stop. The outdoor seating was perfect for the beautiful day and allowed our kids to run around and get out some of their energy. The wine was great. We ended up purchasing a bottle of the viognier to take home with us!

Found this as we were leaving Shenandoah to grab a meal before heading back to our campsite. It's such a beautiful winery! We loved sitting outside on their patio and seeing Wyatt, their vineyard dog roam around. Got a sweet flight which had a mix of white and red wines. I liked the wine with Wyatt on the label most as the flavors were well balanced.

We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon after enjoying the Massanutten Fall Scenic Chairlift Ride. I was pleasantly surprised to see how busy they winery was. The staff member warmly greeted us and was very helpful. I tried a white wine flight and really enjoyed the wines. It was a chilly day so we sat inside but they had a really nice outside seating area. It was nice to be able to bring our own food and enjoy the wine and ambiance of this venue. I look forward to visiting again!!

What a nice winery a bit southeast of Harrisonburg, VA We stopped in on our way back to MD. We both had the white wine flight. Super good. Really enjoyed a few of them. Great scenery. Great vibe. Lots of folks brought their dogs. Not bad in price either. A must stop in.

Very beautiful winery near Masanutten . Went for a girls afternoon. The views outside are amazing. The wines were good as well. FYI - there is a Very large dog that roams the property. Quite alarming if you're not prepared!

Large grassy area in the front. Some tables and chairs are available. Our white and sweet flights are pictured.

In addition to glasses and bottles, they do offer flights- red, white, or sweet. 5 wines for I believe it was $12. Got white and sweet flights and enjoyed them outside on the very large front lawn. Not a big fan of the wines, but taste is subjective. We didn't have reservations, and it was around 4pm on a Saturday, near closing time, so it wasn't too busy and we got our flights quickly. There were several tables and chairs set up with plenty of space between them (driving up, we thought there was a wedding going on, because of how nice it looked!) and it wasn't too busy so the tables/chairs were available, but I did see reserved signs on some of them. There are also more chairs and tables around back. If it's busy, bring your own picnic blanket.

Definitely it's a nice experience! We love the place it big and simple! The setting arrangement is enough for social distancing! So we went here for our couple gateway and find this place thru Yelp and we decided to try it and you never go wrong trusting yelp! We did flight for all of them and our top pick is there sweet white wine Lilem We're happy and ended bought 3 bottles take home! Lol And we love the huge Dalmatian he's so sweet and so adorable and friendly I would say you guys should try this place it's just 10 mins away from Massanutten Resort :)

The wine tasting was nice. With large parties you are given a flight to try. No need to stand in the tasting room. I liked several of the flavors. After the tasting we took a walk around the grounds taking in all the animals. Because it was winter, we didn't spend a lot of time in the lavender fields. We did however visit the lavender shop. I purchased a lavender honey spot and some delightful lemon crunch lavender ice cream. Overall staff were friendly. I would recommend this business for anyone in the area or visiting massanutten.

You really get to enjoy an immersive, interactive experience on the farm. There is something for everyone, from interactive gardens and live animals. The best for a cute little DIY wine tasting. You can bring your own charcuterie platters, which is what we did to go along with our tastings. They have tasting room called the Purple Wolf Vineyard where you can purchase your portable tastings, wine, beer and slushy flights . I would definitely return again, great place to host a cute birthday event, with your friends. They also have a really nice gift shop as well.

Then I remembered what I was looking for, thinking of the last vineyard we visited, not pretentious. The smell of the earth mixed in with what farmland smells like is intoxicating. The service by the extremely friendly, next door neighbor like female that tended to us was the best. We came in about 30 minutes before the place closed and felt so bad for not being aware of that and instead of making it well known that they were about to close she welcomed us in as if we had the whole afternoon ahead of us. We only had a glass of wine each due to us coming in so late but the wine we had was so good we are taking a bottle with us. There have been very few places that have made me feel as at home as this place has. Though, not only at home but made me feel transported to a place where time stands still and you get to just take a breath in and forget about all the stresses of every day life while enjoying a good glass of wine. Needless to say we shall be back.

With so many positive reviews, how could we go wrong? They set us up in the cutest little private cottage and we're so sweet. Unfortunately that's where the charm begins and ends. We got five different wines to try. The bubbly was good but the rest were awful. No one in our group of ten found them even remotely drinkable. The one red was so acidic, my friend was up until 4:00am with an upset stomach from the acid burn. It's incredibly disappointing how bad the wines are given how cute the space is and how friendly the staff is. We went back to our Airbnb and opened our own bottles afterwards to cleanse our palattes.

We enjoyed our wine and people (and dog) watching. My favorites were the 2024 Viognier and the Woodland White. The 2024 Petit Manseng was good, but a bit tart, and the Artist White blend was too dry for my liking. This is a great winery that you should visit when in the area, that's both kid and dog friendly.

They offered both tastings and flights, but my friend and I both chose a glass of Rosé. The staff member had described it as crisp and dry, but it was still a bit too sweet for my preference - not terrible though. We sat on the rocking chairs outside and admired the nice view of green fields. There are no marked parking spaces, but people typically park on the grass and there is ample space for so many cars. The interior of the main building was very simple and "bare bones" but had a homely charm to it and the lovely woman who served our flights was such a gentle, warm person who complemented the peacefulness of the place! My friend and I ended up buying our own bottles of wine and my fiance absolutely loved the Barren Ridge's Touriga wine that I got for him! Will definitely be back to bring him the next time around!
