My prescription for both glasses and contact lenses are clear, and the Optometrist was professional and patient. No problems. However, when it comes to actually getting glasses, I was less than satisfied with the service and quality. I purchased a pair of sunglasses (frame and lenses) from Vision Designs Optometry and found the lenses to be extremely poor quality compared to lenses made with the same prescription from another business. I paid a fee for hi-index lenses because of the magnitude of my prescription, and expected the lenses be thinner and lighter. It was the complete opposite. Additionally, the lenses made me dizzy even after wearing them for a couple of weeks. I brought this up with Sylvia, the optician, and was met with a dismissive attitude. When I asked if she could check if I indeed received the hi-index lenses, her response was, even before looking, "You did because I entered the order." Sylvia started blaming the thickness of the lenses on the large frame, which I confirmed with 3 other opticians that it made not sense. She then agreed to re-make the lenses and shave off some of the thickness. One week later, I got a call that my new lenses were ready (note the first order took about 2 weeks). When I tried on the new lenses, I did not see a difference in the thickness of the lenses, but rather noticed that all they did was mount the lenses forward in the frame. When I tried them on in the store, it was fine. However, after wearing them for about 20-30 minutes, I become dizzy again. I have completely given up on the pair and they are now just sitting in my drawer because I cannot wear them without feeling dizzy. I even question if the lenses were even re-made or if I just got the same lenses back. I really wanted to support this small business as it is in my community. However, between the poor customer service and quality I will be looking for a new optometry business when it is time for me to renew my prescription and get new glasses.

She is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. She explained everything in detail, right from the eye examination to choosing the right glasses. We felt confident. Her team is very polite, competent and cheerful. They do their best to help patients out with every little thing. Making appointments was so easy. Everyone was so very patient with a little toddler running around and wanting to explore their place, they were not even slightly disturbed or frustrated, and we loved that too. I went in for my annual eye exam and decided to order two pairs of prescription glasses: Meta Ray-Bans and Prada sunglasses. A few days later, they called to let me know the first pair was ready for pickup. Once I got home, I immediately realized they had given me the DISPLAY pair. The glasses still had adhesive/glue residue on them. When I called to ask about it, they openly admitted they "always give people the display glasses." I'm sorry, but I did not spend over $600 on Prada sunglasses to receive a pair that has been sitting in direct sunlight and tried on by countless people. The manager then offered to order me a "new" pair from the manufacturer. When I returned to pick them up, I was again handed what appeared to be used glasses. They came with no Prada box and what looked like a fake or generic Prada cleaning kit. When I questioned whether I was being given refurbished or used glasses, the manager responded: "It's like when you go to Target and try on clothes and buy those clothes." At that point, I was completely done. Comparing a $600 luxury eyewear purchase to buying a $20 Target T-shirt was beyond unprofessional and honestly insulting. I requested to cancel my second order, and they refused. I immediately canceled my husband's upcoming appointment and left. Terrible customer service, unsanitary practices, rude management, and extremely disappointing overall experience.
