I got a chair massage from Brimm at Whole Foods on a whim and it was way better than I expected. It was so good, I booked a table massage at Myo Massage with him. I've tried a ton of different massage therapists and never felt like rebooking. They were either uneven (OCD side of me hates when your left and right aren't rubbed evenly!), didn't follow your requests, or just lacked technique to be honest. Brimm is the only massage therapist I go to now. He really listens and tailors his approach to your needs. I usually want a short full body swedish massage with deep tissue concentration on the areas I hold stress. He used some techniques to really loosen my tight muscles that I haven't felt from other therapists. Brimm also has a really calm demeanor that helps you relax. If you want to get a small taste, book a short massage at Whole Foods with him. The environment can be a little loud, but you could wear earplugs or headphones to help relax or just focus on your breathing. If you want a table massage, he has music and a relaxing environment at Myo Massage. At Myo, you'll fill out a form that helps tailor your massage even down to the type of music. Then Brimm will consult with you before you massage. He encourages you to tell him if the pressure is too hard or soft, so don't feel afraid to speak up. Trust me and book a massage with Brimm. Brimm has magic hands. He's great for just the relaxing occasional massage. Really nice atmosphere and very responsive to what you ask for both before and during your session. He can also help you figure out what the right massage is for you at any given time, and he's great at finding knots and really helping them melt, so you definitely leave the place feeling way better than when you came in. But even better, he's really awesome at real therapy work. He really excels at maintenance massages to help you keep your muscles working at their best. If you are on your feet all day, have lower back issues regularly, or do a lot of heavy labor for your work, he is definitely a great person to see about once per month. Also, he's pretty goo for working on acute injuries. At one point strained my back. I limped into his studio and could barely crawl onto his massage table. By the end of the session, I was able to walk upright as I left. He really knows how to help muscles in the body, and has a good sense of how to help keep you balanced.
