It was so good the first day I came back the very next day. I had the gyro plate on the first day. It was terrific. Today I had the Saganaki Benedict. Even better. First time having Greek coffee and I really enjoyed it. read more

Pumpkin spice latte is fantastic and the food is amazing as well! 10/10 recommend we always leave very happy read more

Briki Cafe - Their pumpkin spice latte is the best!! - Greek Near Me - Addison, Illinois

Do not order an açaí bowl from here. I've tried many açaí from different places and this has been the worst I've ever had. The açaí was watered down and had hardly any fruit on it so do not order unless you want to spend $8 on water. Plus they forgot my friends order and messed up on hers too . We complained about it and they were giving us attitude. Avoid! read more

I'm in love with your whole menu! You offer some amazing dishes and desserts and let's not forget your made to order Freddos. We have ordered your meze board for the past two weekends while in quarantine and the variety of meat offered and side items are AMAZING! To top it off the loukoumades we ordered for dessert never made it home (we had to eat them in the car before dinner) Thank you for continuing to be open during this very difficult time and for taking care of your customers. We love BRIKI cafe. read more

I loved this place. The food was delicious. Although the outdoor seating doesn't exactly have a great view (you get to view the strip mall parking lot) it is still nice to sit in front of the restaurant and enjoy a nice summer evening. The staff was attentive and friendly. I will be back. read more

I've been here twice, and loved it! I especially like the gyro flight ( mini gyros - one pork, one chicken, one lamb). Staff is courteous and observing best practices for the pandemic (we did outdoor seating) read more

Quite possibly the best breakfast I've had in a long time. We shared waffles made with pearl sugar... really great how the sugar crystalizes into the waffle. Also had the marinated steak sandwich...Great flavor. Oh and what about the sausage gravy that I used to dip my fries? Some of the best ever. Great service also! Not easily seen from Lake street... Really need to get a big sign out there because you're worth knowing about! read more

Our favorite spot for breakfast and lunch as well!!!!Try avocado toast and grilled octopus is tastes like a heaven

Love the ambiance, had the lamb gyros with tzatziki sauce. Very good! When I asked for a milk alternative for my coffee they even had almond or soy! Great service and prices, will be back :) read more

OK, whats the deal adding 1.00 on top of the price regular drip coffee. Its the principle, asked the very nice waiter about it. He said something about 12oz or 16 oz coffee. The cups probably hold 6oz. The three of us had dinner, the bill was 85.00 we were not there to sit all night and drink coffee. Common guys little things like this are a major turn off !!!! read more

The most outstanding coffee and nice cafe near the movie theater in Adfison. This place is clean and nice although a great booths and bigger tables would if been appreciated. The food was typical Greek food along with French crepes and overall this is a great hidden place and a must stop after a date and movie night read more

Cozy place! Very professional and friendly staff. Good vegeterian options. I would highly recommend this place..

Hmm, I always want to review places but never make the time. Glad I did here. My lady and I came to get dinner as we were just starving and couldn't make it home in time to cook dinner and eat without growing short of hangry. Walk in, clean place, spaced out proper great ambience. Took a gander at the menu and was surprised they served food all day! Tried out the saganaki, fire as you would expect. Ol fashion cheeseburger with a added fried egg, just as you'd expect and more. (came with a side salad. Mi lady got herself a smokes turkey sandwich, Boom, a delicacy. But what really got us was the impeccable service provided. Waters were refilled for us swiftly. For 30 bucks was a top of the line meal. Highly recommended. Regards, M read more

I had my order delivered and the gyro was good with lots of meat. Unfortunately the fries were inedible. They were soggy and soaked in grease. Grub Hub delivery was a nightmare. read more

Seriously excellent Greek food!!! This is my family's go to spot for various reasons whether we are going for breakfast/lunch/dinner or just a smoothie or a coffee with a friend - it's a very well rounded restaurant/cafe. Not to mention the food is outstanding. I've had many things off the menu from skillets/crepes/acai bowl/gyros/octopus/salads/loukomades and it's all fabulous!! All of their appetizers (spanakopita/spicy feta spread/ Greek fries etc) and sides are delicious too. I was really hoping covid wouldn't take them out because this is a staple in my town. We love briki!!!!! read more

Wow! This place is amazing. My parents came in from out of town and we went here for breakfast. I got a frappe and loukamades (salted caramel and Nutella). My mother ordered the saganaki Benedict and my dad ordered pancakes. Both parents ordered Greek coffee. Everything was amazing! Our waitress was so kind. When we asked if there was a Greek grocer nearby she helped us find one. It was so good we returned a few hours later for dinner. Again, no complaints at dinner. We had the same waitress and she continued to rock! Since we had just eaten there we weren't very hungry but we shared a saganaki, grilled octopus, and I ordered the avgolemono (Greek egg-lemon soup). Again, all the food was amazing. I like my soup very lemony and they delivered. If you are not a fan of a ton of lemon, this may not be the soup for you. I cannot wait to return! read more

This place looked inviting and we had high hopes, but unfortunately we were disappointed. My husband got the flamed red pepper chicken sandwich which sounded very good initially. Unfortunately the chibbatta bread was very soggy and the sandwich overall did not taste fresh and lacked flavor. The fries were the only good thing on the plate. I ordered a glass of wine, and it was honestly the smallest glass of wine I have ever been served in a restaurant. I was quite shocked. Overall, we went in with high hopes but left disappointed. read more

We popped in for dessert and coffee. The loukoumades were amazing!!! My husband ordered a caramel macchiato, which isn't on the menu, but Sofia made it for him and it beautiful and delicious! read more

Great Greek coffee and food in Chicagoland area .. I love it and I'm always here .. great customer service and welcoming atmosphere.. Im highly recommend it read more

Ordered the gyro and fries...the gyro was great, but the fries weren't even fully cooked. This was a take out order so maybe it's better if you eat in restaurant? I baked the fries for about 7 mins which made them edible...but was still disappointing. read more

All I got to say is, the food is fresh, the staff and owner are extremely kind, the environment is great, everything is great to be honest. Would totally come back here and I for sure recommend this cafe :) read more

This place is really good. The food is an interesting change from "We're Greek, Gyros, flaming cheese" (although they have that too.) Good service. I wish the hot chocolate was actually hot though. read more

My family and I ate here and we loved it. The gyros was delicious!!! The pork kabobs were done perfect. We had the village salad which was big and very fresh. See all

We liked the restaurant but I was looking for breakfast. I found the gyros with eggs VERY heavy and I could not get through it. I would not go back for breakfast, but would go for lunch or dinner. read more

Good food, good looking desserts. I was pleasantly pleased. I had a nice eggplant salad and my young picky daughter loved the chicken skewer. It's a very nice addition to Addison. My only small critiques are that the ordering system (counter?server?) is a bit confusing and they were limited on high chairs (I know it's a mom complaint, but important to me!). This won't stop me from returning as I really liked the food, atmosphere, and staff! Great job! read more

I heard a lot of good things about briki Cafe so I thought I'd try it for myself and my sister .I ordered the Gyros platter and my sister had the Crepes or the blintzes she loved her blintzes I tasted them I wasn't that thrilled. my Gyros platter I'm sorry to say was a disappointment I just don't know what was wrong I know people have raved about it but I have to give it three stars read more

Excellent Breakfast, had the omelette feta and spinach...roasted red potatoes...deelish! Awesome service and ambiance

Just went for the first time and as soon as I walked in I loved it. The place is adorable and comfortable. I ordered a hot tea expecting a little cup and got a huge pot of tea that filled my cup 3-1/2 times! The breakfast I ordered was so good. Their breakfast potatoes I can't wait to have again. Eggs were perfect. They will now be my once a week breakfast stop after taking the kids to school. Looking forward to next week. You should too!! read more

In a word DELIGHTFUL! We loved the decor. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the food, well, was excellent! We went for breakfast (our first time there) and we all were very impressed. My husband ordered the "Classic" I ordered the "Lamb Hash" dish and our son ordered an omelet. The presentation and quality of food was very good. Briki's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or just hanging out over coffee or cocktails. They also have a wonderful display of tasty pastries. Truly, there is something for everyone at Briki's Cafe. Next time we're there I'm definitely going to try their Tuscan Pear cocktail. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Went for first time for breakfast. Had the steak benedict was so good will go back for sure, service was good too,

The only part of this place that isn't good is the very slow service, and the fact that they open much later than any other breakfast place and or cafe around them. read more

We were in town for a soccer tournament and needed somewhere to eat. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and we were lucky enough to pick Briki! The service was great! I ordered the gyro flight and the pork belly gyro was an unexpected update to the traditional gyro and it was...AMAZING!! Definitely 10 out 10, order it again! I wish there was a Briki Cafe in MKE!! read more

So delicious! Had the spicy feta omelet, which was amazing! Hubby had the lamb gyro which he was very happy with. Service was fast and friendly. We'll be back! read more

Picked up an order around 10 pm. Get home (5 mins away) and the rice is undercooked as well as spoiled! I've never ever had a pickup order in my life where the rice was spoiled and starting to smell bad! Telephoned the so called manager to inform, his reply was that the kitchen is closed and he cannot verify. Ate there once before and everything seemed fresh at that time. But I won't be returning. read more

Just stopped in for a bite before an early movie. The decor is very nice and has a very warm vibe. I have been coming to briki since it opened. The coffee has always been great, but the food was not that good. Under the new management things are way better. Finally you can sit down and order as many times as you want - gone are the days you had to get up and stay in line every time. Service is now very good. Today we ordered chicken and pork souvlaki with pitas and grill octopus. All excellent, the souvlaki were juicy, tender, cooked well. The pita was tasty, soft, and not oily at all. The octopus was excellent, better than what you will find in most Greek restaurants, and the fried zucchini was crispy and very tasty. read more

Updated: so I was super excited after the first time I tried Briki. Except the next two times proved that maybe I was just really hungry when I tried it the first time. Anything would have been amazing. So I thought maybe the second time we tried it, it was just a fluke, but then the third confirmed that's likely not the case. The gyros are just ok, the meat just okay. The tzatziki is still AMAZING, but the rest was mediocre at best. The meat was dry and almost flavorless. The pita was just ok. The fries just as gross as the first time, oily, soggy and overall just not what you would expect a fry to be. Coleslaw, still good. We have tried several other entrees, and they were nothing that great. So I did three tries with Briki and I will not be back. The breakfast food is more appealing, but it's not something I would go back to get especially at their prices. And no, I'm not cheap, I will spend the money if I think it's worth it. Original: So I heard this place was good, so of course, I had to try it. It lived up to the hype. The gyros were delicious. We tried the lamb, pork belly and chicken gyros and they were literally some of the best gyros I have ever had. -The tzatziki sauce was absolutely delicious! -The coleslaw was equally delicious. -We also got the meatballs and again, delicious. -Then we got a bacon double cheeseburger and to be honest, the actual beef patties had no flavor, but the toppings were to die for. The bun, homemade pickles, mayo, lettuce, and bacon...omg they were so good. Considering it's not a burger place I can't hold the lack of flavor in the meat against them, especially since the toppings were amazing. -The only real downfall we found were that the fries we got were super soggy and full of oil. We tossed them in the oven and in about 6 minutes they were better. Still really flavorful, just wish they weren't so soggy. - prices are slightly higher than if you were to get a gyro from a greasy spoon sort of place, but it's totally worth it and you can taste the difference. Overall, it was a really great experience and we WILL be back. I strongly urge you to give it read more
