I was so happy to find out Brighton Collision opened recently and was able to take my vehicle in for some body work (I got hit by a BEAR!!). I had gotten a quote elsewhere and it was going to take longer to fix and cost more. They started working on my vehicle Tuesday morning and it was ready for pick up by 5pm on Friday. It looks perfect! The owner called to keep me in the loop with what was happening and handled everything with the insurance claim. I needed a photo inspection for my insurance and walked in midday in the middle of the week. There were a few people already waiting, but Rich, the manager working the front desk, moved through everyone quickly and efficiently. When it was my turn, he was extremely helpful, knowledge, and kind. I can't imagine an easier experience for something as mundane as an insurance inspection. I had front end damage repaired on my car about 3 years ago. They always tried to suck up to me and seem like they were doing everything in the world for me. When it came to quality and workmanship I would give this shop no stars if I could. The PAINT JOB IS HORRIBLE. I take meticulous care of my car, waxing it every other month or so. The paint is pealing off of the front bumper, there are dozens of paint chips on the bumper and hood as well. I consistently wax it and it still does this. Horrible prep and workmanship. This shop does not stand behind their work in anyway either. They damaged my clear coat when they peeled the masking tape off of the car from their paint job and they refused to fix it. I came in to take photos for my new car insurance. Rich, the manager, was super impolite, not welcoming or friendly at all. It felt like he didn't like to do this type of work/activity and it was a strenuous chore. Was unfriendly throughout the entire conversation, didn't say hi/hello. Asked me to re-park my car, threw the papers in front of me to sign, when I asked what these were for he was grumpy and he didn't end up saying that everything was taken care of or that we are all set. No goodbye, no nothing. A 5 minute process that couldn't have been more uncomfortable for him it seems like. read more

Not sure who gave this place less than 5 stars...I came across this place after I looked up body shops closest to me when I needed a tow after an accident. Rich was super friendly and helpful especially in such a stressful situation and helped walked me through the insurance process. He not only had my car done in less than a week, I came back to find my car unrecognizable because of how clean it was! Not sure if they always do this or if they just felt bad for me but they gave me a thorough interior and exterior cleaning (that was desperately needed) out of courtesy. It is now 2 weeks later and I just now realized they also got off the stubborn residue from tints that I had taken off 5 years ago...something that was always too expensive and never a priority for me to get done. Hopefully I won't NEED to go back...but if I need a body shop again I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

My car needed some body work and I had a very positive experience with Brighton Collision. They contacted the rental car company and the morning I dropped off my car a guy from the rental company was waiting there with my rental. It was nice that I didn't have to get shuttled around. The only reason I didn't get them 5 stars is that the work took a day longer than I had hoped so I had to pay for an extra day with the rental car, but the work was done well and the service was professional. read more

I brought my car here to fix a scratch on the front of the car. Rich got me in very quickly and had the work done the same day. He was very honest with me and told me that the paint might not match perfectly and to get a perfect match I would need a new bumper. I decided to just go with the paint and was impressed at how good it looked (it's hard to see that it's there at all unless you are up close). Highly recommend. I went into this establishment with a very small repair needing fixing. (My back bumper was no longer attached on one side and I was looking for a way to fasten the broken piece better.) The mechanic looked it over with me, printed an estimate and recommended I return in the morning. I dropped my car off and headed over to a nearby Panera, intending to kill a few hours. To my delight, the car was fixed within two hours of dropping it off. The mechanic only charged me for the fasteners (under $40) and I was able to make my bumper last quite a bit longer than expected. I worked with the same person for the entire process, even between the first day and the second day. If you're in the unfortunate position of needing to repair your car, you may as well give Brighton Collision a shot. read more

Went to Brighton Collision to have a photo taken for insurance purposes. Was the first person at the desk and the guy at the desk started to do my paperwork. In walks another customer and they started talking, apparently he had work done that was leaking every time he went for a car wash (I won't be going there). So the guy at the desk blows me off and turns to his computer and starts ordering new parts for this guy while I'm standing there like I'm some second rate citizen. Well I did what I should have, picked up my insurance card and left. Little did he know I also have collision work to be done on a Lexus 08' ES350. He won't be working on that! read more
