I am quite picky on the materials and design of the frames, so when I found this place on yelp, I wasn't so sure if I would find a fit. Drawn by the other reviews, I checked this place yesterday, and I am glad I did. They have many selections for all kinds of face shapes. Especially for asian faces, as most glassed in US do not have nose pads, finally I found a place with beautiful frames that will not slip through my nose. The gentlemen (sorry I forget his name) who helped me yesterday was very knowledgable and friendly, with his help, I found my favorite pair of glasses, and I am sure this pair will last long enough! Been here second time. Raymond, the owner is very patient and helpful. I spend lots of time looking for the farmer, he helps me to find out the most fittest one for me. So so so VERY impressed with this place! Took my glasses in for a repair, the arm broke off. Unfortunately they were unable to repair but luckily They were able to put the lenses in another almost identical pair! Only charged $89 and was done 24 hours later! Wow- will come back. This is gonna be a little long but listen. I must say their service is definitely nailing! I was having lunch in Pasadena and accidentally broke my glasses. (Skipping all the unnecessary details) so I yelped around and decided to go Brighter Optical due to his high rated review. And it was definitely the smartest choice ever! The stuff we're very friendly and attentive to me. This guy, Raymond was so polite and patient. He recommended me to a glasses that fit me the most and I felt like it was made for me! They tested my old lenses, and did a quick and efficient eye exam, which was included in my purchase of the glasses and lenses. Since I didn't have a backup pair and I couldn't see things clear, Raymond agreed to make a rush order for me which I could pick it up on the same day, with no extra charge! I originally came here not intending to get glasses, I was just accompanying someone who was looking for new glasses. However, I ended up getting new glasses for myself too! They were incredibly friendly and helpful and made lots of suggestions based on what styles you like and what your preferences are. I was super picky and indecisive but they were really patient with me and I finally found a pair that I loved. They had my glasses ready by the next day! They also gave me a super great deal. Stumbled upon this small glasses shop after having an awful experience at Linden Optometry. The staff is incredibly helpful and their glasses selection is great! They were able to fill my new glasses and replace the lenses of my old glasses within 3 days. They also gave me all the paperwork I needed to submit the information for reimbursement with my insurance. The staff there is incredibly nice, helpful and not pushy. I would highly recommend them and plan to be a repeat customer! At these prices, I can get afford to get a few pairs! read more

I was looking for some replacement glasses today and all the offices I knew were closed so I searched yelp for one that's open. Luckily, their place was open so I called their number. Nobody picked up at first but after 5 seconds of ending the call I received a call back from from Raymond telling me to walk in anytime. I was happy and surprised that they offer eye exams for prescription glasses on Sundays. The process was quick and painless. Raymond did an amazing job juggling me and one other client. He was super professional and knowledgable. In addition, not only did Raymond help me out on a Sunday, he went as far as finishing up my glasses the same day! And this is me walking in on a Sunday afternoon! (Around 4pm) All in all, it was a great experience for me thanks to Raymond. He was caring and wanted to make sure that I would be comfortable with the prescription. He also helped me choose a frame that was the most suitable for my face type. Husband and I went here to get our new glasses! Raymond was very nice and patient with us. He gave us his opinions and had several options for us. We finally decided on our frame after an hour and a half. lol I've gotten so many compliments on my glasses! It didn't take too long to get our new glasses, I think a couple of days. He worked with us since our insurance was out of network so he did all the paperwork that was necessary for us to file our claim. This One time my glasses got sat on, lol it didn't break or anything, just kinda smash a little, Raymond happily fixed it for me, free of charge. :) He also has these cute little fabric case for your glasses that you can use to clean your glasses or keep it from getting scratch. Raymond is a really nice guy. I called in one hour before opening time and Raymond answered the call; he was able to accommodated us (my husband and I) for an eye exam. Once I got there I told him I wanted Contact lenses as well and he gave me his most honest opinion (which I really appreciate). He recommend an eye doctor in San Marino that specializes in contact lenses for people with astigmatism. After getting my eyes measured I got frames from Brighter Optical for a great price. I recommend this place to anyone because of the great customer service and Raymonds' honesty (plus they have blue UV lenses).
