Yeri has worked on our trees for several years. Our 7 HUGE crepe myrtles have been growing and blooming incredibly since his maintenance work on them. They are over 15 years old. He also maintains our post oak trees on a regular yearly basis. This past week he removed two humongous cedar trees that after 20 years needed cutting down. They arrived 4 hours early because their appointments were moving quickly. His efficient team worked meticulously and professionally and within about an hour cut down, stump ground and cleaned up the two areas where these two majestic trees once stood. They sent a representative out on Friday quoted me a price I was happy with and trucks and crew came out couple of hours later, we needed to remove some vines and sticks. I called 3 tree services to take down a 30-40 year old Hackberry tree that was dying. We went with Bright for several reasons: 1. They were prompt on both giving me a quote and taking down the tree. 2. They were friendly & knowledgeable. 3. They tied four the best price. 4. They had a great review on Yelp. We had a tree fall roots and all during the recent storm. We got a competitive offer to cut it up and remove it. They did a pretty good and timely job in cutting it up and removing it with one exception. The tree stump was out of the ground and instead of cutting it up they replanted it and said the quote didn't include the stump but for another $150 they would come back and grind the stump. Why do that when it was already out of the ground? All they said was that was their policy basically take it or leave it. They tried the same tactic with a neighbor but they had the conversation recorded on their Ring device so they came back and removed the stump. This company cannot be trusted on their pricing and I recommend getting someone else to do the work. read more

Scheduled a job with us twice. Did not show up either time. First time they were suppose to come on a Friday. We were given 3 hour notice. We cancelled dinner plans and waited. They came, never got out of the truck, then drove off. After multiple texts the owner finally got back with me & said the crew had forgotten the tree trimmer. Rescheduled for Friday. Waited all day. When they did not show up again I text the owner. He said they were booked Friday. Wanted to reschedule for Tuesday. I said NO. They are unreliable. I scheduled various types of tree work, including the cut down of a tree and stump grinding. When I called a week or so ahead of time they told me they don't schedule a time, just the day because you never know what may happen with tree work. While I didn't like that answer, I dealt with it. About 2PM the day they were supposed to be there, I called just to check status. Jamie answered the phone. She basically blew me off with the same response. She did say something re them working til 8. They can't work after the sunsets. Not only would it be difficult to impossible for them to see what their doing, but in my city, you have to have a permit to perform such work after the sunsets. I called them at 7 and Jamie's response was "oh, they never showed up"? This is a small, minority/woman owned business of which I encourage, however, I of course not only Never do business with them, I will also give them a poor oral review about their performance, or lack there of. I called Bright Tree Service this morning for a quote for trimming the two trees in front of my home. Yeri was here within a half hour. He explained what needed to be done to my trees, gave a quote, discounted the quote 10% because I am a senior citizen and told me he would have the job done in a few hours. His men arrived in two hours. They went over the job I needed done with me and then went to work. They did an excellent job trimming the trees and then cleaned up all debris. The price was right and the work done was excellent and it was completed quickly. This is my second experience with Bright Tree Service and I'm sure they will be the people I will call when I need more tree service. read more
